ALICE BY HEART?? EVERYTHING TO WIN?? CHRIS MCCARELL?? SO TRUE BESTIE YES FROZEN DID DESERVE BETTER Oh my god the duet from Legally Blonde brings me to fucking TEARS I still cannot BELIEVE Persephone's verse got taken out of Chant II anyways I'm submitting my best friend application after seeing this
just came across this video again and i need u to know that seeing That version of Leave Luanne is what eventually led me to hyperfixating on it, its just SUCH a chefs kiss rendition and performance
Ok but Anastasia the first time I saw it (slime tutorial) I was listening to the musical but when I listened to the soundtrack I listened to the words and cried.
the parade song is more scary than anything inspiring, no? for anyone w a passing familiarity w the american south, all the 'southland,' 'dixie,' etc. stuff is invoked to draw out the thematic element of white supremacy as it relates to the antisemitism in the play and antiblackness more generally. that's how i've always read it at least, seems pretty intentional.
Like a year late but when I first heard this song I had no idea what the musical was about genuinely, I thought it was a neat song but since then I saw the musical when it came back to broadway and yeah your right this song is more scary. Like this inspiring song after all that how are you supposed to feel, anyways when I did first hear the song I truly didn’t know what the musical was about and now I have learned I have a different perspective

Is 0:32 Mara Davi in the 2006 Chorus Line revival?
This is Mara Davi! This recording is from the Hollywood Bowl performance of A Chorus Line
Thanks! I was wondering because Mara is a dance teacher at my studio and I thought it would be really cool if that was her.
