One of my favorite moments of WICKED caught on camera is from one bootleg of Willemijn Verkaik and Katie Rose Clarke at the very end where the person filming catches Katie’s last few seconds and her acting and facial expressions are so on point with Glinda losing her friend and keeping her secret and taking on the Grimmerie, her character has lost so much and has a lot riding on her shoulders going forward. Katie really captured that in that moment

I saw wicked yesterday, my glinda was so bouncy and jumpy and always doing ballerina poses, she was so hilarious, I don't know if all that was in the original but either way it was so sweet and charming.
I love how its almost always glindas who improvised
I swear Brazilian fans are a different breed; whatever the event, be it a musical or concert, Brazil’s audiences are always so engaged and energetic.
What really sad when you think about it is that when Galinda says “Elphie, you’re beautiful,” that’s probably the first time Elphie has ever heard someone say that to her, and she kinda panics and runs away

The various deliveries of 'for the first time, I feel... Wicked!' is what always gets me. I love them all so much - the laughs, the excited whispers, the slightly dorky, the deep drop in tone. Everyone nails it in their own way and it's so fucking cool. In general I love how much everyone loves playing these roles and embodying them in their own way.
Yes! I think I especially love the ones where Elphaba pulls away very gently, and the "Wicked" is whispered with this little mischievous smile... But you're right, it's so cool to see how differently these actresses aproach their role. Ah, what I'd give to have a go at it myself... :')

i love the originality in every actor! each of them bring so much diversity and different versions to the character. it's so refreshing! having seen wicked live in NY, (the most amazing experience oh god, the fairy lights on set during dancing thru life to die forrrrr) and then seeing these compilations, its so amazing!
Oh dear, I remember seeing Wicked in London and going absolutely NUTS at the Ozdust Ballroom set design. Much as I enjoy watching questionably sourced recordings, none of them can truly do justice to how visually gorgeous this show is.

I love that you included clips of the West End cast. I first saw Wicked on West End when I was little so I have always imagined the characters as having British accents. Not that I don’t love the OG cast (or any of the other actors), but I just remember being so shocked the first time I saw a clip of the show a few years later and being so confused that all the characters had American accents.

They just moved it, to the end of popular right after Glinda says "look at you your beautiful" and before Elphie runs off I believe!! It's a moment we Gelphie shippers treasure because it's when Glinda finally realizes that Elphie is beautiful, and not because she gave her a make-over, because she just saw her for the first time. So the romantic music plays before it plays over Feyero. I already loved Gelphie but Go watch "Wicked is gay by BannedFromTheaters" if you want a better explanation of what i said!

For Willemijn Verkaik pronunciation:
The 'ij' in Willemijn is more like an 'i' sound, but the sound is much less rounded, almost as if you're smiling. I think the closest English sound is the word 'eye'. In Verkaik, the 'ai' sounds like a regular 'i', as in kite.
