I love how Mike completely changed careers, he was in the medical field and decided to go with entrepreneurship. I just resigned from my job so I can pursue my dream of owning a native garden business. It’s nice to see I’m not the only one who’s made that decision.
One of my favourite channels off late......the quality of info and production is top notch.......any wannabe entrepreneurs can easily watch these videos and learn a ton of info. Thanks upflip
found your newer videos and wanted to see where you started. 4 years and the quality of your videos and content is better and better and some of the best.
Mike has an incredible story and it's only the beginning, thank you Mike for the chance to sit down with you and hear from you. I need to relax a bit :) look so tense on the video but then again I'm just focused on listening.
What really stands out for me is this guy's passion to help others achieve success. He doesn't want to make people feel like they are beneath him like so many business owners. He makes sure everyone feels appreciated and valued. This guy has inspired me that the sky is the limit and especially if you create a positive environment. Thank you Upflip for bringing us this amazing person and a great leader. I truly know how to be a better leader now!
I used to watch a show on CNBC called 'Blue Collar Millionaires' (episode previews available on YT) that profiled self-made blue collar millionaires. I loved it but only watched the first season because the second season was never uploaded to the on demand service where I used to watch it before the show was canceled. It'd be great if you interviewed some of the same people they did during the 1st and especially 2nd seasons. It was an awesome show that was very similar to yours so it's worth a look.
@@UpFlip Thanks for taking the suggestion. Most of us can't relate to graduating from ivy league colleges, starting with tens or hundreds of thousands in seed money, or succeeding in the tech or financial industries. So I hope you stay focused more on the self made, shoe string, blue collar types as featured here. It'd also be great if you do profiles on SBDC, Score, SBA and other organizations that help small businesses get off the ground for low or no cost. These types of facilities can be the difference between entrepreneurs building multi million dollar businesses or just having ideas that never even get out of the conceptual phase. Your videos on them could tell us how to use them and maximize their resources.
Did he say he started college at 13??? He breezed right by that!! I would love to do government contracting with this company! They are right in my backyard. I’m in Atlanta. Such a dynamic life story.
“Augusta” wow they really break down so much incredible information on how to start and grow your landscaping business. The best part of the video is that they break down exactly how you can get started with no money in 1 neighborhood. If your looking to build a business and you don’t have any money make sure you check you this video the value that is in this video is incredible. Upflip wow this was a really incredible incredible interview right here so many people can take the information they take from this interview and start an incredible business.
YT suggested this vid but I did hear about UpFlip from being a David Pakman viewer. Decided to give it a shot because I am a huge Shark Tank fan. I'm a multimedia designer working for local landscaping company and this was a pretty interesting watch. I was mostly interested the branding and marketing insights. Was definitely interesting and helpful! Only point of crticism I have is for the host. He conducted himself very well and asked good questions. But his dress/attire came off as too 'slick' & I kept thinking he was out of place juxtaposed to a landscaping company. Perhaps an Upflip branded t-shirt and a pair of jeans would have worked better? If this vid was about an overpriced, upscale, caviar and coffee shop business sure but landscaping? Just didn't mesh. Dress per the business that is being featured. Either way def going to check out the other vids. Good work!
Thank You UA-cam, UpFlip & Mike Andes. This is a Great Interview and Story. Look forward to learning more from You Guys on continued Successful Businesses. You're really helping this World out.🌍💜👑😎
Andes' story is inspirational. He apparently skipped high skool and went straight to college. This is important. If you want to break out of the box they want to shove you into, you have to blast your way out. Just say NO! The paths we are herded down are, for the most part, fool's games. The sooner we wake up, the better.
Owning a business with $1M revenues isnt all it sound like. I watched a vid with an English farmer. He had a big operation. He raised livestock, grew grain & hay he had several revenue streams working for him. He said last year his gross revenues from all his streams came to $1,005,000 pounds. But after he paid all his bills he was left with only $50K pounds for himself. So, making $1M is great, but the trick is keeping $1M. !
Right now im relying solely on craigslist and its so so, i wonder if i need to move to an area with a higher income, i live in an area that is pretty big where most don't make a lot of money except for a few....should i move ?
My company is based out of a small town surrounded by 3 rich towns and then a city on the other side. One day we go to the city and do the commercial property’s the next we go to one rich town, then the other the next day, and then the other the day after that. Then we do the local properties.
He's clearly a brilliant guy, but nothing he mentioned in this video is new or innovative. Simplify, Systematize, and SCALE...if you can conceive it, you can achieve it! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Getting started and getting started correctly are 2 totally different things. And even mike from what I’ve watched hasn’t ever told the correct steps to make someone setup an actual business correctly.

How’s you go to college at 13?
Day 3 of watching every upflip video✅
What are the estimate average for a home?
Landscaping quotes vary widely and are often largely based on client requests and job sizes.
Started college at 13!? 😱 Doogie!
How to find costumers??
Friends and family. Local advertising. Social media. Email and flyer marketing. Lots of different ways to start to try and find customers.
Started college at 13?
How does a 13 year old go to college without getting it paid for with scholarships! Lmao
Thats a good question!
“Mr Jones” would laugh your butt off the property around here. Maybe you are in a wealthy area..
College at 13? Clearly someone you can learn from but to me this is the same as winning the lottery..had the success software built in
Pretty crazy huh? Dont meet much people who go to college at that age.

He could be more laid back....
who the fuck goes to college at age 13
