    This is great , very motivating. I started my carpet cleaning and repair company back in 2019 and now we also install carpet , restorations , flooring and much much more . I went from making 200$ -400$ a day to 8000$ in a week sometimes. It’s pretty crazy how a small business can catch a wave ! Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with work but can’t give up now hahha . Blessing to everyone’s company and hope you guys prosper 💯 I’m only 25 so this makes me want to go to another level

    I started a lawn and landscape business when I was ten years old and offered complete lawn care for $35-100 a month. Four cuts a month plus included overseeding and aeration. Word got around the neighborhood pretty fast and I had to hire family because I couldn't keep up with demand. The business 20+ years later is still going strong and we got a good thing going. This business doesn't take much capital to get started. My meager beginnings were one mower/ trimmer/ rake, and a cart to pull behind my bicycle and flyers printed by a friend that I hand delivered door to door.

But he backs it up with specific examples, stay with your core competency / niche the recurring simple services. Don't try to get involved in the one off complex jobs (large scale custom paving jobs) - where I live some companies try to ONLY focus on this stuff because they are targeting people who obviously have of money if they can spend tens of thousands on pavers/patios, but I often see these same companies revert back to offering the standard landscaping services .

    UPS moved the ignition keys on their trucks from the right side of the instrument panel to the left, so drivers could be starting the truck at the same time has pulling the seatbelt over and latching it. This saves something like 3 seconds per truck start, and equates to several million dollars per year company-wide.

      @jamesjohnston547 3 роки тому

      @@UpFlip I can't show a pic here but you need to Google "Ute tray", the majority of Australian pickups or Utes have the tub removed when purchased or don't even come with a tub, they're sold as a cab chassis. then a tray is installed. It essentially turns the back of the vehicle into a flatbed and allows for greater use of the vehicle as the tray is often wider and longer than the tub and means you can carry more gear and access it from all sides without having to enter the back of the vehicle.

    • @MrDbradie
      @MrDbradie 3 роки тому

      It's all time based for the most part. I know how many Square feet I can efficiently cut in an hour, which you then have an assigned hourly rate.
      For example. I can cut 1 acre per hour(44000 sq) with 2 guys.
      Your property is 1/4 acre.
      11000/44000 = 25%
      $100/hr × 25% = $25

    Trailers > Trucks without trailer. It’s not hard to learn how to drive with a trailer, also if your truck breaks down at least you can hook up the trailer instead of being completely SOL and having to rent uhaul/box truck.

    15,000 first cost + 15,000/YEAR after that. Not sure, is that a good cost? Do they help you with marketing/advertising? If you can pull of 25k a month... then its easily doable. However, why not start your own business under another name a year later once you learn everything? (might be a rule in the contract you cant, but not sure.

Which then turned into a real estate/stock investing channel. Since he has bexome so popular now he sells courses to educate people about strategies for investments. Then on top of all this he is now running to over throw California's governor. He is quite honestly the most impressive person I've ever met. Yes he also held in person events right before the ca-ro-na!!. Anyhow check him out!

    The way he pays people is just like flat rate for mechanics in dealership. Awfull way to make money it can be stressful, but somtimes profitable if you work fast and nothing goes wrong

    • @UpFlip

      What would be another payment system to use ryu51890?

    • @ryu51890
      @ryu51890 2 роки тому

      @@UpFlip I work in auto industry, our mechanics are paid flat rate witch is a PayPlan like you describe. As an owner it’s great. You only pay people for the work they perform. It prevents sitting around and makes people work faster. The down side is the mechanic or landscaper has to always worry about making time. When things go wrong and it takes longer than the quote the landscaper is the one that looses out. It can create a situation where they are working for free sometimes. Paying laborers hourly is fairer in my opinion.
