That Gretsch sounds fantastic!
I love this. Three pretty simple licks that make you sound like, you know how to put a solo together. And you’re great at breaking it down to make it easy to learn. Beautiful.

Thanks mate... as an old geezer moving on from just rhythm to trying to be Scotty Moore finding it tough so this is great. Daft thing is I sort of knew them all but until you put it in context like this and linked them in nothing was really sticking. Much appreciated. Gonna check out your band now.
Brilliant, so glad this can be of use! Think I'm gonna do a second part to this at some point.

Very nice to hear 👏👏👏. I am learning guitar from october 2023, 72 y.o., now i am trying to play guitar solo on musical chords (blues and pop-soul). I have also one Harley Benton SC35 Plus.
Dude thx so much ... Covid crazy .. this helps great lessons !!!
Thanks Tom!
Very Nice … Simple Tricks are the shit !
Thank you
Awesome lesson tx
Thank you 🍻
Love it
This stuff is great. Even if you can play much more complicated solos (I can't), you can always fall back on these tricks if you screw up/lose the timing since they all sound great over the I, IV and IV chords.
Thank you! Hopefully this is a nice starting point for some people, cheers Evan! 🍻
Nice job man
Sweet!

Thanks a lot for this, it's a great help. Really old rocker in North Lincolnshire UK trying to play a bit of lead for a boost rather than rhythm or bass for rockabilly numbers maybe on an open mic night; this sounds good and even I can do it. 😃
Thanks Philip. All the best - go rock that open mic!
Good stuff! Liked and subcribed!
Thank you and welcome to the gang, I will check your show out too! 🍻
I’ve just bought my first Gretsch it’s a g5422t, it’s 10 years old with rusty strings and frets, so it’s in the shop being cleaned up and set up . I’m going to learn this and play when they ask me to try out! This is just the sound I want to hear from my new guitar. I’ve never played lead before but I think I could do this.
First time I’ve seen you, have just subscribed, thanks man.
Thanks so much Bob, welcome to the gang and congratulations on the new Gretsch!
How's the playing coming?
Very well done.

Hey you’re welcome and thank you! I have just checked out your channel and passed you on to my friend who is learning double bass 😸 cheers and all the best ! 🍻
@@DEATHRAYCAT 🙏. Really? Thats great! Thank you very much!😀 Hope, he is not disappointed 😬. You have a very cool way to teach rockabilly guitar. Unfortunately I am not a good guitar player. It takes so much time for me to learn🙈. Maybe thats the reason that the bass is my favourite instrument.
😀
All the best and I am looking forward
for your next lessons. Greetings from Austria!
