I'm a hybrid, chicken pick'n kinda player. I understand the frustration with this style. Nice job illustrating it. I still have to work on it after 30 years of playing finger style mixed with using a flat pick. I'll keep at it, you keep making these videos. Love it!

This video is full of golden moments. First, there are tonnes of Travis-picking instructional videos out there, but this is the one that finally did it for me. Secondly, I love that you keep your screw-ups in the videos... and even better, I love the faces you make when you fudge things up! Makes learning much more fun!

Love watching and learning from this. It's got a lot of edge and grit, which always comes through in your playing. There's a lot of hard graft going on until you have the finger-picking hand trained is tamed and blistered. Learning Scotty Moore songs on early Elvis introduced me to hybrid-picking. Cheers again for this 👍. By the way, what are your favourite finger-picking tunes of all time ?

great and fun tutor..are you using just the middle finger on the B and G string in E chord
Hi thanks so much ! For the finger picking pattern I’m using the middle finger and ring finger on my right hand (3rd and 4th fingers) 4th on the B and 3rd on the G. Hope that helps !

Fender 11s I believe my friend, although it's been a while I changed em so who knows!
