- Yeah, again a new car in our garage;) We traded in our Audi RS3 (yeah, shame on us) for this marvelous Audi RS e-tron GT full loaded and with 646 hp. The crazy part, although this car has a list-price of over 180.000 EUR, the total cost of ownership is lower than our previous RS3! Looking forward to your comments! #audi #audirsetrongt #autobahn

Audi's are just the best looking cars out there. The dash are so modern and tasteful.
Besides the Taycan the only EV I WOULD buy. On one side its a boring EV, but on the other side its such a beautiful vehicle!

Honestly, the brutal EV acceleration is impressive, but I can’t separate it from a Taycan, or a Tesla Plaid, or a Lucid Air. Feels like shopping for a fridge

Well yes, Sound is missing. But it drives so much better than an RS7 Performance that it’s still a thrilling package👌

The better Porsche Taycan imo, somebody in our neighborhood owns one of these and the road presence is 👌
Even the sound generator (which I usually dislike) sounds good for it a little bit like the grumbling of a V8.

Have had the choice between the GT and the RS 3 two years ago. Most of the time, I am regretting my decision towards the GT. But its look is truly stunning!

Tried RS3, RS5, RS6 and the e-tron GT.
e-tron was weird.
Sound wise RS6>RS5>RS3, and RS6 is the most powerful while RS5 and RS3 felt similar power wise.
Petrol RS models are the best.
Compare to Macan GTS and the Porsche sports exhaust is glorious >RS5 even though its same engine but the Audi is more powerful and definitely faster.
I would say those are entirely different cars in real-life since these 4 cars have 4 different platforms….which imho makes them feel totally different: The most sports car feeling seating position & handling wise you definitely get in the e-tron GT, but yeah of course it lacks sound😉
All have the Audi DNA of power and comfort balance. The deep tone of RS models was a surprise as I didn't think it was stock exhaust.
But you are right, inline5, twin v6 and twin v8 are all different platforms. e-tron is a great luxury car I'm sure there is a market for it, but petrol RS will do great as AMG have gone 4 cycl and BMW M are all S58.
Just a note, you did your 0-100 and 100-300kmh on "D" even though in dynamic. If you put it on S you should get the overboost function with will give a bit more power. Atleast it is so in our E-tron S.
I think there is no “S” with the e-tron GT🤔
Tatsächlich macht es einen Unterschied ob man von 100 auf 200 beschleunigt, oder von 0 weg mit dem Boost Launch. Ist bei meinem normalen GT auch so. Der war um 1,5 Sekunden schneller mit Boost

Yes, but honestly you can not compare a MQB RS3 to an PP e-Tron GT. The RS3 is a nice hatch with a glorious engine but the e-tron GT feels like a fighter jet. You’re sitting inside the car and not “on” the car and quality is two different leagues….I don’t miss our RS3 when I’m sitting in this😄
You should be at 7.3 on to 100-200' full power in launch control is only for 2.5sec

I can't imagine audi stopped producing the R8 for this ! Yes, It's fast but it's electric.

When are they going to understand : we don’t need 600hp EVs, we need 1000km range EVs.
When it takes 45min to charge, and you have 10 people in front of you, you do the maths.
And this car does it every 250km.

That's is where the 800 volt battery system shows its advantages. The higher the voltage the lower the current and the lower the heat, so you can just do 0-100, 100-200 and top speed runs over and over without anything overheating.
Hmmm...interesting...the Etron RS you've tested 3 years ago did 100-200 in 7.1sec...

A model s plaid will pass you like you’re standing still. This RS is just too slow.
BMW i5 M60 over this all day everyday.
600-700 EUR more per month for the i5 M60 at lower performance, especially at the charger. Nah😉
Hmmm. My C8 Z51 HTC is a bit faster to 60. Nice looking car though compared to any Tesla

Trade the RS e-tron GT for a Camaro (ZL1), it´s worth it, I can tell you from my experience as a Camaro driver!;)
It looks great but its will never not be electric.
Not having full power from 100-200 kmh makes no sense. You almost never accelerate from 0-200 So on highway driving you will never have full power 100-200 which makes it much slower in real life.
Well, 7.9 s 100-200 isn’t actually slow😅….thats RS6 Performance territory🤘
@@Automann-TV you are absolutely right but it can do a 100-200 in 7,3 with full power so its just a shame that it only has full power with Launch Control (just like the Taycan Turbo S).
