    Well, thanks for the content,. One question though and maybe an idea for a future video...
    In this video the rotor and pads seems like they are in a good condition, can u explain what was wrong with them, when should I think about changing the brakes even if they "look" fine?

      Thank you for comment.
      The replacement of the pads depends on wear, if your pads are equipped with a wear sensor, then when the pads are erased you will notice a signal indicator on the dashboard, if there is no wear sensor, you should regularly check the pads and if their thickness decreases to critical, which is recommended by the manufacturer, then they should be replaced.
      Best Regards,

      Helpful video!
      My car had a wear indicator sensor on one pad on passenger side which was a pain to disconnect and very fragile. Would be helpful if there were tips on how to unclip.

    Hi.
    Do you need to bleed brakes when changing pads and rotors?
    Cheers

    • @autodocuk
      @autodocuk  3 роки тому +1

      It is not necessary to bleed with this replacement, however, it is important after installing new pads/discs and before starting to move, adapt by pressing the brake pedal a couple of times, thereby you will bring the pads to the brake disc.

      @@autodocuk wanted to avoid buying an entire socket set as mine only goes up to 20 mil and normally enough for little maintenance info on my own cars. I'm not sure I still have the manual for it but I recon it is a 21, it is on the s line carrier. Anyway wish me luck. Videos are very good by the way

      Replacement should be done in pairs. The video shows only one side, the second side is changed in the same way
