Hi K. K luiftanza. We just want to make sure you understand the premise of this video. Everyone in this video is a non-native speaker of English. English is their second, or third or even fourth language. We were very grateful for their participation in helping our learners understand difficult words to pronounce, and they were all such good sports in trying to pronounce words non-native speakers often have difficulty with. Simple English Videos is a channel devoted to helping people learn and improve their English. I hope that clears things up for you. Thanks for writing to us and thanks for watching our video.

Oh that's wonderful about your English Chiseled Pizza and we hope we helped you relax in these difficult times. :-)
I'm also fluent in the English
While my English pronunciation is slightly different from what was demonstrated in this video (in Scotland we tend not to omit the letter 'r' quite as often as our friends South of the border), there was one word that really surprised me - Wednesday.
If I say it quickly it does sound very similar to the two presenters in the video, but I definitely do not omit the first 'd' or turn it into a 2 syllable word - what I actually do is effectively change the 'nes' to 'ens' to get Wed-ens-day or, perhaps, Wed-ns-day. That seems totally normal and correct to me. Am I just wrong or is that a common pronunciation in some dialects such as Scottish English?
These people are so adorable, they remind me of my grandparents😂😂
