Yours is far more cleaner than mine. I’ve had to wipe all sorts off of the walls, and decorating is going to be an absolute pain as the previous occupant didn’t care to maintain the place. Should be interesting. Hope you’re getting along alright!
It’s a very nice clean place. It would be great once you move in there you can spice it up with all your stuff. It wouldn’t be too bad for me. I live in Indiana and there is barely any housing. I’m trying to get into the 55 and up next year as I will be 55 and don’t want to be around kids, but they just don’t have enough housing and that’s everywhere for everybody all over the world. I have heard Prince William is doing stuff about the homeless thank God he is everybody needs a home that they can go to, and lay their head down and sleep.❤
Wow congratulations. Did u decorate it yourself, surely it wasn't already done. It would be good if all homes were. All homes council here are badly need decorating .
Are you in temporary accommodation at the moment? At band B it could take a year or two to be offered a property. It varies though, so pinch of salt. Could be sooner than that or later. When I was in band A it took me about a year to get my flat.
Congrats, Is electric and gas on a meter? Like you pay separate from rent , council tax? Do you have to pay bedroom tax? If you work too many hours does this effect your rent (working to just pay rent?) Sorry for extra questions x
Yes, you pay rent if you’re working, the amount you earn affect how much you pay so it will be calculated by the council depending on what you earn. No you don’t pay bedroom tax, your rent and bills is your responsibility. In my case electric and gas is on meter, it is different for each houses
@@gracealake6913 Thank you. In 5 year history, can you still qualify if not lived consecutively for 3 years. But overall 4 out of 5 you lived in the same city.
Congratulations for your new home. I have 2 questions sis. 1. I'm autistic, going to study at open uni this October, thinking about moving to council house, Who will be paying for electricity and gas if i get? and repairing things like boiler? i understand you need to furnish by yourself. 2. I have been living and working in Maidstone (Kent) for more than 2 and half years, Do you think the council can give me studio flat if i would like to choose in Ramsgate (Kent)?
Thank you! 1. Yes you pay your bills yourself, for things like repair you normally would be given information/number to call for repairs You Should be able to but for every local authority they have different rules so i will advise you to look on your local authority website for more detailed information because normally to get a entitled to a council house, you have to be in priority to the council; either you are pregnant, fleeing from abuse, evicted from your home and you have children, homeless( like literally they need to see you have nowhere to stay or else they won’t help),health conditions and so on and again it depends on your situation. A lot goes into it I hope this helps
Hi. Sister I want to go to London but I'm still weak I don't know how to get a council house and I don't have anyone there as well 😔 i don't know how can I get help

Wow. Ur so lucky. Wish I had that. !

Very nice flat. Congratulations and best wishes sis. God bless.
Thank you!
Your kitchen has more draws then my 3bed house kitchen
How did you manage to get a council flat ??? lucky you
Wow congratulations. Did u decorate it yourself, surely it wasn't already done. It would be good if all homes were.
All homes council here are badly need decorating .
Yes I did.
Not the best but it’s far better than the mould
I agree council houses do need doing up in a big way
I had highest priority and waited over 6 months to be offered
I know…sometimes it take a while before getting a place even on highest priority
Shortage of houses is what they’re screaming about now.
@gracealake6913 were you high priority?
@@thinkgood7412maybe I’m new here but I’ve never heard of low priority getting in front of high priority. I think your question is ridiculous
@@thinkgood7412 Think about it…
how much did you spend to put the carpet?
Hi Grace I’m band B overcrowding I work how long roughly would they find my a flat I’ve been on the housing 2 weeks so far

Housing benefit.. council tax benefits
Hi dear. You lucky to get one. I am going to apply for one. Can you answer one of my question?? Plz
Hi, yes if you let me know the question I can answer you.
@@gracealake6913 Thank you. In 5 year history, can you still qualify if not lived consecutively for 3 years. But overall 4 out of 5 you lived in the same city.
Yeah, what they really need is 3years address history at least, and just making sure you have a local connection to the area you want to apply for.
Congratulations for your new home. I have 2 questions sis.

@@gracealake6913 Thank you sis for your reply :) wishing you long life and prosperity.
I applied for housing, how long did you have to wait for your flat?
For my first accommodation it took me 3month before I was offered a place. Again it depends on your situation
@gracealake6913 hi are they pushing ppl to rent from private landlords
@thinkgood7412 yes they do sometimes, it depends on local authority
dont fall for it. Unless you can afford it, do not go for private.@@thinkgood7412
