The mould was so terrible in your old place, so glad you got out of there. It is stressful moving but it will all come together in time. Enjoy your new home!
I really enjoyed this video. The main thing is your away from that mould. Dont apologise when you have just moved in . It will all come together. God bless you. 🙏🏽
Hi, absolutely love your videos!! I left a comment in one of your other videos about me, renting a council flat but when I saw this video, and felt like it was a playback of what my situation was like. The mould that you are showing was like my last property, but maybe not as bad as yours. I had mould all over the bathroom and I had mould by my bed and some creeping up behind my TV. I was renting privately and the people who owned the property told me it was because I had too much furniture which was like a load of crap.. I went onto the council waiting list for to try and find a council property. I was on the high priority list because I have leukaemia and a lot of other health problems and so therefore I could not live in this property with the mould. Moving in was really stressful. I was lucky enough to know someone from my church, whose partner is a removal guy and so he and his friend helped me move in as my stepfather is quite old and my mum can only do certain things. I also had trouble with my electricity and trying to figure out why I had to pay £23 which isn’t as much as what you had to pay or sort it out, but it was still a lot when I hadn’t even moved in. When I got my laminate flooring put down, I also had to have my doors trimmed because they were going to end up scratching my flooring and I didn’t want that obviously as it was quite expensive to have a put down. Just like you said it was very stressful and I don’t like moving. Because of the stress and because I suffer with depression I didn’t want my anxiety to creep up. I was very fortunate that my mum took time off work to help me sort out some of my issues or things that I needed to get done, no it’s been well over a year and I am just so happy. You will get there and your lock back and your thing. Yes that was stressful but it was worth it.
Hi I am asthmatic and mould could cause asthma attacks in me. Is there a way I can make this clear to housing that I can't be placed in a property with mould, mice etc.
@JC-ce8uw you can show medical evidence but sometimes it’s not guaranteed. they put you in a property where there isn’t mould and later the property will start having mould
@Imman271 stop showing your stupidity on the internet and stop disgracing your family members. You make no sense and your definitely the brat here! It is you and your family who are blind!
Also heating… if your flat is cold and you’re cooking etc this can happen. I know it’s difficult in this cost of living crisis but maybe have your central Heating on to come on morning & eve
It’s different for every local authorities but I believe you have to live in the areas for at least 3-5year before you can apply for council housing also you have to be priority either you’re pregnant, have children, fleeing from abuse, or you’re evicted from your house and you have children etc. if you’re not in priority to council you will be placed on waiting list which sometimes can take long, again depending on your priority or situation. You can go read more on it on your council website( i mean the council for the area you live) Goodluck!
Wow the mould in your last property was terrible. That place needs to be burnt down. Worse thing is, the council will probably wash and paint it over for the next unsuspecting tenant.
