Why don't Tesla do all sorts of things? Like a driver display, or indicator stalks, or lidar/radar/ultrasonic/rain sensors, or a physical button or two, and on and on and on. Answer is quite simple, really, MINIMALIST DESIGN silly! And by minimalist I mean cost cutting.
I don't know if the panel gaps are as inconsistent as they seem in the video when viewing from a distance, but the way the panels are divided is very off-putting to me, especially the fastback trunk. Subjective opinion maybe.
I'm a bit confused by Geely's designs, in the sense that the rear lights flanking the badge are clearly borrowed from the Zeekr X, while the Zeekr 001 looks like a Lynk & Co. Why share design elements across these supposedly different brands like that?

Irrespective of the Tesla panel gap joke I’d say the panel gap, on this G8, where the front wheel arch is split and the bonnet/hood butts up looks a bit off particularly on the yellow car. Great bangs for bucks but probably not so much if it gets exported. I do, however, love the interior particularly that one piece wide screen. Super futuristic looking👍

boys you need to understand that these big Chinese luxury cars are just curiosities. people with money buy classic western brands. so you might want to tell them that their best chance here in EU is to come with small (class A, B) cheap, decent ranged (300+ real km) EVs which are right now made too expensive by the western brands.
