A few days ago, I was on vacation in China, and my younger brother had just bought this car. Apart from its beautiful exterior and exquisite interior craftsmanship, he showed me its autonomous driving feature on the way from home to a restaurant. The entire time, he was playing on his phone while the car automatically arrived at an unfamiliar restaurant. This truly felt like an experience from the next era. Now, I’m back in Singapore, back to the real world.😂

Yup they are totally wrong, here in panama they changed an Honda dealership for a geely one... and Chinese made vehicles are now on the top 5 sellers ... I myself have a geely azkarra luxury 4wd hybrid and is a great car 2 years now with the car no issues at all (knocking on wood) but is like having a volvo but with better looking cabin
Chinese cars are really good value. I for one is driving a MG Marvel R Performance. I feel like the build quality and equipment is amazing. I got it for 36 000 euros new. I do not see any EU cars can compete with that price.

for an *ENORMOUS* SUV - I really like this. The Shape hides the sheer size of it well, especially in that colour. Not a fan of the Salmon interior however. That can stay in the 80s.
I was wondering when you are going to do a review on this. But I couldn't wait, and bought the thing. It's an amazing car. Absolutely love it. I look at it everytime and wonder how such a car can be had for a little over 200k rmb.

@jj1901 Guangzhou here. All black inner and outer 11. Quite the big group here and in Foshan already. These days I see at least 1 or 2 a day when out driving

As an 11 owner, I originally didn't like the 07. But seeing how far they came as a company, going from horrible sales every month to over 15k in a month last month or the month before that? Your video definitely made me hate the unicorn a little bit less 😂 thanks guys
I always felt Avatr had potential. It is a really well thought out tri-partnership, with Changan's styling and auto manufacturing expertise, CATL's world leading battery expertise, and Huawei's infotainment stack and autonomous driving suite which appears to be able to go toe to toe with anyone in the industry. Best of all three worlds! Now that this combo is filtering down to cheaper models such as the 07, good to see sales go up accordingly.

If in the end it turns out Lidar will be a necessary component in a true level 4 or above self driving system, then Huawei is really gonna be in the drivers seat in that scenario.

Very good looking car and the color is really fantastic. With all the tech and great interiors, and price, it is very easy to see why the EU and the US are slapping Chinese cars with heavy tariffs. I'm still shocked by how styling is a knockout in just about every single regard nowadays not just with Avatr, but the breadth of the Chinese market as a whole, even foreign China-exclusive models (VW Lamando & Ford Mondeo my beloved). I'm still interested in how BYD somehow improved the styling of their export models (the Seal and Dolphin come to mind, not sure if the Yuan Plus / Atto 3 has this change yet, although the upcoming Yuan UP / Atto 2 def will) by in response to the mixed reception to the "Build Your Dreams" text on the rear bumper in European markets, it's just changed to read "BYD" next to the model name on the back, streamlining the whole thing in a way I just love. I'm just fascinated with the Chinese car industry as a whole, I remember stumbling upon this channel when it was only about 4-5 videos in (the Lynk & Co 03+ and Roewe i5 reviews were my first videos i watched). Test-drove it... It does look like an UFO but i wasn't crazy about the interior or the ride. Try to get to review the Cadillac GT4. It's not an EV but it's an only China model...I test-drove it last weekend and the comfort is unmatched for the price (less than 200K RMB) The look is very sporty too! 😎

I'd happily have a Chinese car but only if it had a UI that is designed for our European tastes and not their own weird software. The GWM Ora Funky Cat has an awful UI and the BYD's whilst better still aren't up to the expected standard we expect for our tastes in Europe.
It all depends on the price. Unfortunately until now Chinese cars are priced at 100% more in the EU than they cost in China, and while this car is very attractive at 35k, nobody will buy it at 70k.

Beautiful car, looks like a Mazda, make it a PHEV like Mitsubishi Outlander has. I'm suspicious of a fully electric vehicle. Tend to catch fire.
