Probs because they weren't a long lasting band. They broke up in 1975 (after only 5 years). They definitely had potential. The lead singer (Ross Wilson) did go on to form another band called Mondo Rock which had decent success in Australia.

internationally speaking being australian very well could've been a strike against them unfortunately. if they were american or british it might've been a very different story.

1975, just 4 years after the release of Eagle Rock, the world had changed so much...it was already nostalgia and it is played that way..it is as if it is 2015.

Great memories. My late dads favourite song back in the days was Eagle Rock. Questional dancing moves. Skinheads and Sharpies, who would all now be in their 60s. Also noticed it was an all white crowd for Bangladesh. Was there a drought there?

Weren't childrens clothes awful in the mid-70s! Reminds me of when we went to the snow at Lake Mountain, and to keep us warm our mum made each kid wear a second layer of clothing she bought at the op shop! We hated it!

It is like they make good interesting musical sounds but they are horrible lyricists - why am I singing about an eagle? Are eagles connected to dancing in some way? But the eagle rock song is musically very fine.

Eagle rock is a dance popular among blacks in the 20's. The song also inspired Crocodile rock by Elton John.
