    Tips
    1. Slow down. Try to not to use a lot of filler words
    2. Try to be okay with silence
    3. When you speak about something that’s unnecessary you can speak more quicker / but when you get into details that’s when you slow down
    4. Know what are you talking about / try to use simple words that you feel familiar with
    5. Be specific and clear
    6. Put a pen between your teeth for better articulation
    7. Record yourself talking and analyze the way you look, the way you’re talking, the way your hands are moving and Critique yourself
    8. Practice in the manner you want to perform for example if you want to say a concept in a fast way you should practice it in that way and not in a slow way
    9. Be Dynamic , speak sometimes in a slow way, sometimes in a fast way, a little bit louder or a little bit quiet

      Jus open ur mouth more when u speak

I’m 24 and I was able to learn from you speaking on spirituality and god . I also stutter and it’s cool to come to a comment section where there’s other people who struggle with it I understand how imperative it is to speak confidently and effectively. Seeing the benefits it has on our selves and how we perceive the world is fascinating . All the opportunities we can take advantage of and have an easier time with all areas of life by speaking effectively. Yes the key is to speak at our pace no rush no overthinking or analyses just being in the moment speaking in the flow of our breath and being dynamic in our speech . I don't really struggle with talking fluently but it wasn't always like this. For the longest time I barely talked to anyone and so I just didn't know how to talk. The past year I've talked to more people than I've ever talked to in my life and that really helped me grow my vocabulary and fluency. I also experiment with new words all the time. If I'm watching a youtube video or talking to someone and hear a word that I don't know the meaning of, I look it up and try to use it in conversation later. Over time it just builds a really large vocabulary.

    • @aymantashrif2042
      @aymantashrif2042 7 днів тому +10

      Practice being in your own body when you are out. You don't have to put so much attention in all the little details outside of you. And there's nothing that can actually harm you when you are in a social situation. Maybe the worst thing that can happen is people would get awkward around you. But I don't anyone would let themselves be in an awkward position so even if you are in that situation let them just adjust it. And don't fear so much it's safe out there. Try to have a purpose whenever you go in a social gathering and if you don't or cant social then you don't have to. Ik it feels bad not be able to talk but it's okay you can try small things to make it better. Try being comfortable around people even if you don't talk and try to reply what you are asked. Give yourself that small win, i hope it gets better with you slowly. And remember you don't "need" to make conversations and you don't have to be "good", enough to talk to its okay to feel anxious and clueless in social situation. And another thing i can tell you about social situation,its not just you 90% conversation you see happen there is some awkwardness their it's the people who choose not to make a big deal about it. People are just putting up act to make other person comfortable almost 90% times. So don't worry and keep trying you'll get better with each try :D

    That's exactly what I've been doing this week, I came back to making videos but instead of Italian I started talking in English and making English videos.I know perfect English when I text and I know the grammar, but I'm not used to talking in English which is why I struggle to articulate. However I started to record myself and post in English to force myself to improve. This video of yours gave me some really good advices and I really appreciate you Davis

      Have you improved over the weeks? My main language is Spanish so I still don't know if I should try my best in English or just to vibe with my spanish.

    • @kora4185
      @kora4185 5 днів тому +1

      @@Max9nce I suggest to always improve your second language but without neglecting your main one. English is absolutely essential in my life today. I get higher paying clients for my online business only by speaking English moderately whenever I travel (not just in Anglo countries, but anywhere in Europe, India, South Africa etc). I’m trying to get better to reach out people online in a more professional way though.
      And still, I realized in my main languages I can’t do any mistake at all or else people mistrust my capabilities overall, but in English the world forgives you MUCH more because you’re not expected to be perfect, just get your point across (and the clearer, the better), so that’s an endless amount of opportunities and freedom.

    Hey man I just wanted to say that this video really resonated with me. I struggle a bit with a stutter and I feel like sometimes I definitely speak too fast. I also have some video ideas that I think a lot of other people including myself would find helpful: 1. How to move more confidently and how to move slower. I feel like the same kind of thing you were talking about with words can be said for movement and how it makes you seem more confident. I would LOVE a video on this. 2. How to speak more clearly/louder. I have a semi-deep voice, but people always tell me that I am not talking loud enough and I can not fix it for the life of me. If you could offer some insight that would be a huge help. Once again I want to thank you so much for your help and I wish you the best on your content-making journey.

      I appreciate you sharing . I also struggle a bit with a stuttering but for me I let it get to me . I enjoy the art of speaking and considering myself to be knowledgeable and well spoken but am bothered by the fluidity of my voice . The stuttering portion of it. I understand that when I talk faster I tend to stumble but when I slow down and gradually pick up the pace I have a better grasp of my speech and am able to speak my mind . We all have to take a proactive approach in speaking and improving our speech ain’t no One going to do it for it . Let’s get it 🙏

I just cried, because it's exactly what I needed - someone to tell me not to worry, to take it slow, and with time and practice, it will get better and better. And now, that's how I will approach my life - slowly, enjoying every failure and achievement. Because through failing, I will learn how to achieve, and through achieving, I will know that I have learned.

    Thank you for sharing your tips on things that are helpful for day to day interactions! I found your video, which was about the art of conversation and really how to have a good conversation and what that looks like, very helpful fo me! I was wondering, please could you make a video about how to be a good friend/ talk more into that idea? thank you for your help!

    amazing video, picture me sitting there with my strat and a pen in my mouth haha
    one thing that really helped me out with my speaking voice was ironically a video on youtube on how to sing, since then I have realized how much this applies to speaking and I would recommend to anybody checking it out even if your goal is not to sing. just get to know the origin of the sound when speaking yk, maybe this helps somebody out. peace
