Cant believe this flopped, one of gamings greatest ever devices let down by bad marketing, overpriced memory cards and little classic games... I still love it
You're wrong. I can't believe how many people don't understand the reason the vita failed. Its not marketing. The ps vita came out right at the rise of smartphones. Gaming back then was still kind of a niche market, it wasn't as popular as today. Certainly there weren't any " gamer girls" and " esport" venues ( or if there were they weren't as big as today) the vita was something that interested gamers, but the smartphone interested everyone. The reason it's failed because it came out at the wrong time. Everyone bought a smartphone, and you can imagine how many classic games came out then. Subway surfers, temple run? Still remember pou? People didn't buy the vita because of smartphones. Only people who would buy it are gamers and again, there weren't as many gamers back then as now. That's why it failed. Simple. Have the nintendo switch came out back then, it would failed too. But the switch came out after the smartphone craze, AFTER. People now realized smartphones are not the best way of playing and they invested in the switch. But the vita came out in 2011. Just a year after smartphones became a thing. That's why it's failed.
Reasons why it failed : 1) Proprietory Memory cards that were very expensive 2) Lack of support from big developers 3) Sony Launching it a year before the PS4 then shifting all their attention and focus to the PS4

The PS VITA can be modded with great games and more features, for ex: GTA SA got a PS VITA port due to modders, UA-cam on PS VITA, Twitter, Facebook and many more! Its underrated but hey we can make it great again by mods
Here’s what I find kind of odd in the wake of the success of the switch and the whole console quality games on the go standard that Vita gets dragged on. I can’t find any instance where Sony actually said that, I think it was implied because people saw stuff like uncharted & wipeout and the press created that narrative and Sony didn’t keep it in check. Sony really wanted this thing to stand out by creating innovative new ways to play games that you COULDN’T do on a console and that’s why it was built the way it was. The level graphical fidelity and technical capacity of the games it could produce was a nice bonus, but it was supposed to be much more than a portable PS3 or a hybrid console. It was supposed to revolutionize the way we play & think about games. If Sony could have gotten that point across clearly then maybe people would have found more value in it. Basic cell phones were the same as a house phone you could take with you. A smart phone was so much more than that and it basically changed our idea of what a “phone” was. That’s what Vita was made to do.

I still have my ps vita and I still love it.
It's amazing how fans could get a lot more out of the Vita than Sony ever did
Please answer me, i wonder if there is games including the when you buy it or do you have to buy it separately?
