Great review! The whole family has been wearing Black mask since last year. An additional benefit is they have petite sizes for children, so even our grandkids wear Black Mask.

The philip mask would be safe as its making a positive airflow in your mask so water droplets would be pushed onto your face and or into the mask no leaking out plus it will make sure bacteria won't get in

For a while, companies have been selling upscale masks with air vents. But now the word is that those vents let unfiltered air out and defeat the purpose of masks. Glad you mentioned that. (And also glad I didn't buy a vented mask!)

Great content, Sir!! I am actually waiting to received my pre orders for Pacsafe - both viral off & silver ion and Banale - pollution masks regular and silver coated. Tested Banale Active mask, Globe’s face shield and Sole Academy’s Black/Gold face mask set.
I’ll try the Pacsafe mask too!
The Banale Active mask has durability issues. The ear loops easily loosen and the black pocket at the side have weak stitches. Good thing Hans from Urban Traveller Co are very responsive and replaced them with the newer sturdy ones.
Hi there! Wanted to note that for the Philip mask, your CO2 is constantly getting eliminated but you must always have the fan on.

Yes mask with a valve not safe but you can still use it , just cover the valve with a filter cloth or any breathable filter you can use it no wasting money

Sir you might also want to try O2 Canada Curve Mask. Health care professionals are also using it. It is important to note however that it is not NIOSH Certified. None of the featured masks are. Look for this when buying a mask. Stay safe! 👍

Almost bought one, very close! Then watched this video and realized that , just last week, *Masks with any Valves* *Do not* protect Others, are being Banned *Everywhere* as of Now! The 02 canada curve, blah,blah...has *Hidden Valves* but That won't fool *Anyone* Very Soon!!! It will NOT get me ANY groceries, beer or whatever!!! California just banned *Valves*, They protect wearer, other people are Totally exposed, if the wearer *Has IT* (that *Virus??*) They are Shipping *Major bucks* as Fast as possible...they *Know* they won't be for long!!
NIOSH is a USA 'Standard' for *Professional Medical (Serious stuff) Masks!
Not a Deal breaker for getting Groceries etcetera!!
For me, ideal yung mga medical grade na mask kase yun talaga ang pang laban sa bacteria. Kaya diko den gets yung ibang bumibili ng mask na parang di naman kayang mag protect from virus eh. Gusto ko tuloy yung copper mask hehe

Hi sir, I believe safe yung Philips Fresh Air Mask because its valve is different to other valves that medical professionals don't recommend. This particular mask is recommended by my Cardiologist to her patients with asthma. She said that it is safe not just for the one wearing but also to other around you. Same daw kasi nafifilter ang iniinhale at ineexhale na air.
Air purifier daw yung technology ng valve. Yan din daw explanation kapag may sumita gamit yung ganung mask. But I still don't have the budget to buy the mask since it's a bit pricey. Hehe.

Gaming Fnatics surgical masks do not make a good seal against your face since they are open on the sides, they were made to protect the patient from infections during operations and to protect the surgeon from blood splashes (hence why most masks have a water repellant side). N95 masks however are shaped to make a good seal to your face. Also, an N95 mask filters particulates while a surgical mask does not really filter anything. A regular N95 mask without a valve is probably the best cheap alternative out there as it protects both you and everyone else around you.
Sir Carlo, IMO those cloth masks are kinda useless in terms of avoiding the virus(covid). I'm a nurse and i always just use the regular 3ply surgical mask which are disposable when i go out. But ofcourse i know it ain't aesthetically pleasing. So what i can suggest is use the regular 3ply surgical mask then wear a cloth mask on top so you'll look good while also protecting yourself. And those with vents are just not advisable

To be fair tho, the government said cloth masks were ok na medyo alarming, cos I think when they said that they only intended people to not be able to touch their faces directly with the hands, since sa araw araw we unconsciously touch our faces multiple times. Sad that they did not clear these ahead so people just went out with masks na wala kahit anong filtration system.

Surgical mask itself have big gaping hole on left and right cheek. Its worse. The philip have exhale valve but the exhale valve is filtered one layer by the filter itself. Regardless... Whichever mask that doesnt fog my glasses is the best.
