As a healthcare worker at 3 major hospitals in my area, ATMOBLUE has changed the game with safety and comfort. I was concerned about battery life, but read on. The mask fit and face seal were almost as good as the Halo, (which runs around $1,000 usd). In fact one of my hospitals uses the Halo. But the Halo is much more complicated to adjust, operate and change filters. It's so expensive we have to clean units and share them. Also, to temporarily remove the halo you must shut it off and release one side making it easier to fall off, which mine did. I dialyze 2 to 4 patients a day, 3-5 days a week, working 10-22 hour shifts. I use my ATMOBLUE mask while in the covid patient room, (now approaching 50% of my patients). I turn off my mask and remove the top headstrap from my head when not in the patient room. So I'd say about 30%of my 18 hour, (typical day for example), shift I'm using the mask on the low setting. Sometimes switching the setting to medium or high as I need it, (That's almost 5 1/2 hours a day). This all works on a single charge without issue. I only ran out of charge about half way through a second day and forgot to charge my mask the night before. Note: the Halo unit, also doesn't have a filtered output and has asked nurses to use a standard mask on top of the Halo mask to help protect patients. As we know that doesn't work as well as putting tape over the exhaust port on an ATMOBLUE mask. It's difficult though to sell this concept to management so I have asked the ATMOBLUE team to provide me with a spec sheet so I can get the mask approved for regular use where I work. It would be a very good idea if ATMOBLUE would add an exhaust port plug for this purpose or a passive exhaust HEPA filter. I would summarize my experience with the mask as exceptional. My experience in getting management on board, has been fair to good. My experience with the ATMOBLUE customer support, very good and responsive, considering its a campaign and not a sale. Being a medical professional, I highly recommend the ATMOBLUE products. I hope it will become a standard so I can pick up filters at Walmart. The way I look at it, I'm doing everything possible to protect me, my family and my patients against passing covid. ATMOBLUE provides an excellent solution.
I use multi-focal reading glasses with mine. It's not perfect but it works. The problem is the face shield. I'd prefer good goggles that go over the glasses but haven't found anything I like yet.
I’m getting the LG Puricare Mask / Wearable Air Purifier (2nd Generation). None of this mask doesn’t have the talking sound where people can hear you talking while wearing mask.
Right now is there anyway to get a life time loan worth of money to cover the cost of these masks for rest of my live repayalbe at the end of it X2 plus also need extra to cover cost for mask for sleeping at night AIR TAX is finally here
Most of the self contained papr type devices do not protect the patient, however, with the atmoblu, simply tape over the exhaust port and you protect the patient too. This is notated in the instructions.
If every1 wears masks for a decade cud the cold n flu viruses become extinct? If so that wud b great. A cold n flu each wear is so uncomfortable n annoying.
This is not expensive. One of my hospitals paid around $1,000 each for the Halo system. And there's talk that many Americans may continue to wear masks after the pandemic subsides. People now are realizing just what is in the spray that is emitted from one's mouth while talking.
