I'd love to find an Ember, held off buying one and missed the boat. This one flies amazing, but I'd love to be able to just kill all gyro effect and fly it stick-to-servo.
Cool little plane. Reminds me of the little Blue-Cor foam stick planes we used to make with GWS servos and geared IPS motors. So much fun flying those little, simple planes... Great review...
That intro was 🔥 I would say, it must've been tough flying a plane that long NOT inverted. But, I'm betting you go into a review on a plane like this expecting it. 😊 Fun little flier. I'd like to see her lit up. The HH site lists the LED kit as PreOrder- Next shipment March '25. Oof. 1st shipment must be under the Key Bridge rubble in Baltimore 👍
I was thinking you would show us an inverted pass - or pull off some other fancy 3D maneuver. (?) If anybody could figure out how to do that with this little 3 channel - I imagine you would be the man. Good video!
I took mine out in the pasture today .The sun was out and it was warming up . Had s nice breeze too. I think I could have flown it for an hour on one battery. This thing will thermal.
Thank you for always great videos, I have a question, I watched FMS the Futura 64mm your review video last year, During setup explanation in review youtube, the center value was 76mm. Is it because of the weight of the battery (4s 3200mah)? In the manual, CG is stated 85mm to 95mm. Thank you for your reply,
Thanks, glad you enjoy our channel! The CG is because of the heavier pack on the 64mm Futura. We flew it with smaller packs and the cg farther back and didn't like the way it flew with the cg there. Keep in mind the manual cg on any plane is a suggested starting point, not gospel. You fly them, see how it feels, and adjust to your preferences if necessary. Also...we get notifications for comments on older videos. You can ask questions about any of those planes on their respective videos and we'll see it. Happy Flying!
@@ModelAV8RChannel Thank you so much for the real-time response. I own the battery 4S,330mah, Suddenly, i have futura 64mm, As you said, I will set it to 76mm and fly it. thanks^^
Good video, thanks, Flying a prop plane. NEXT I want to flying edf plane Which EDF plane is good for EDF beginners? Please recommend it(64mm ?, 70mm? ,80mm? ) THANKS.
Thanks! The Habu SS 50mm and 70mm are great first EDF's. If you are more comfortable and accomplished with a trainer then the Viper 64mm is a great option.
Glad you emphasized that this is NOT the same as the 1.2m version. That plane, while it can go slow, can get manic and has crazy aileron authority - definintely not a beginner plane. This looks like a kinder, gentler stick. btw, bent my 1.2m fuse about 60* when I stuffed it doing some crazy stuff and got crossed up too low. Waiting on a replacment, at least it is cheap and will be easy to swap 🙂
Yeah the 1.2 is way more capable from an aerobatic standpoint, but it can be dialed down to be docile. One of my favorite sport planes for sure. Kinder and gentler is a great way to describe this one. GHW would approve...lol.
I still have and fly an old Ember 2 that I bought nearly 10 years ago. It's surprisingly fun to fly!
They really are! You sound like me...if it has wings, I can have fun with it...

Thanks man. Yep, very simple, but lots of fun.
I have been waiting for more than a decade for Ember to resurface… now it’s finally here and seems to be better.
Yep, it is better. Glad they have this for you now!
Back to the basics! Great (and fun) video. Scott
Thanks Scott, I agree... sometimes you just gotta keep it simple!
Well done my friend! That looks like another fun one 👊🏻💥👊🏻

@@ModelAV8RChannel Also some alierons control and some brushless 2s or 3s power? Couldn't hurt either Adam😁
Lol, yep!
