Here's an easy proven way to get rid of Hyper Flash: ua-cam.com/video/P-4RyNSl-ko/v-deo.html
I installed all that, it's the circuit inside the housing that fails. Condensation gets in there and shorts it. There's multiple pictures with reviews of this happening. Just annoying how they won't replace it, especially since the product didn't last even a year with lite use.
The lights are amazing!!! I just installed them in my 350z and they look sick. Your write up made it so much easier, I did mines in less than 2 hours and that was taking my time.
+rafael soto Nice glad it helped! Were you able to use the promo code to save some money on the lights?
Awesome video love all the info and products keep up the good work
Mach350z 2007 Thanks! I just posted a heel & toe mod you might be interested in ;)
Totone azebest I thought about this as it’s the same issue with UK roads. I thought what I’d do is wire them up the same as Anthony so they only light up when braking. But use the parking light on the right side taking power from the fog. That way if you put your fog light on it will just produce a dim light on that side. It will only get over ridden if you brake whilst that fog is on. If you see what I mean. I’m sure that would be perfectly acceptable. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve had to use fog lights for the last 5 years. So as long as it can function to pass a safety inspection I’d say it’s fine. If you really wanted to you could also wire up the other side parking light so both parking lights only come on when you activate fogs. You’d just have to take the same feed from the wiring harness on the right hand side and run it across
Anthony on your video does not show where did you hookup the resistors?
That makes sense to me.
Great video. Very informative.
Thanks for watching!
You should do a video on how to replace the window motors, as 350z's are known to have this problem.
+Adrian Lopez I heard if you clean them out it's fixes a lot of issues. When I do my front speakers I might take them apart and clean them and do a video for that as well. Cause at that point you would get the idea if you wanted to straight up replace them.
looks good!
+HKvsGlock Thanks! Make sure to follow my Instagram to see updated pics when I have it all back together!
Anthony: I really like this mod and want to do it to my 2006 roadster. but I am one person and removing the rear bumper is the most difficult part. My car has very low miles and is not molested. I was wondering if I can partially pull the bumper and reach out to pull the OEM lights out. Can it be done that way? I am afraid I may break some tab and have to buy a new bumper which would be expensive and painful. Please advise.
You might be able to do one half at a time. Just put masking tape on the bumper corners and car itself so you don't scratch the paint.
Hey Anthony, how did these hold up for you? Interested in them but seeing mixed reviews on Amazon about them. Few people complaining that the lights failed after a few months? Thanks in advance
Christopher Allison Held up good so far. I had to send one for warranty. The trick is to wire the parking wire for brake as it seems if you go full brightness it causes an issue. That's how I wired it at least after. I also have good grounds throughout the car.
Those are pretty nice!
+Wayne Sahlbach Jr I'm working on possibly getting a promo code so you guys can save some money on them. So hold tight!

Did you wire the resistor in line with turn signal wire Or did you wire the resistor into the reverse light? I think it’s the purple wire?
I wired it from the ground turn signal wire to the positive turn signal wire.
What's the brand of those I need to know cause I want to drive them in Germany and the policy here is very hard I need dot sae papers or something like this. 😅
iJDMTOY and Z1 Motorsports has it as well.
I bought these in smoked and had them installed, the passenger side reverse LED’s are very dim and I can’t seem to figure it out..help?!
Contact them with pictures and ask for a warranty replacement.
What is the wire gauge of the 2 pin connector that you are using?
I believe it was 16 gauge with copper wire. Make sure you dont use CCA (copper clad aluminum) for applications outside the vehicle like this.
Hey my guy awesome videos I'm a new subscriber just love your DIY I enjoy them alot, I have a question for you and sorry if it's in the wrong place , I have a 1999 bmw 323i M3 and I'm trying to figure out how to install a PCV587 can you help me out with some direction with that bro
thanks and stay blessed and stay great 😎!
+Roger Casanas Is this a PCV valve for your Bimmer?
+AnthonyJ350 yes I'm looking into how to install it can you help with a video how it or something?
Roger Casanas Well I'm not a BMW technician so I don't know much about those cars at all. Did you try searching? I'm sure someone else has posted.
+AnthonyJ350 I've done all kinds of searching hear on UA-cam and Google and I haven't had any luck
Roger Casanas What about buying a Haynes manual or some sort of tech manual that helps guide you step by step?
You can have amber/yellow brake lights in Canada? They don't seem red to me, at least.
+Vidar G They're red. I can see what you mean after reviewing the video. I guess the camera picked up the camera differently. Weird because I was using an SLR to make this video, it might be the lens filter I have on there.
Too bad that wasnt a Swichback assembly, It would be cool if the entire thing lit amber when turn activated or white when reverse. Is it better to see at night with it?
Anthony, does iJDMTOY still make the all-in-one rear bumper LED lights? I can't find them at all on there site.
Kevin aka CVObservatory Let me look into it.
Found it rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_id=114&ipn=icep&toolid=20004&campid=5337982243&mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FClear-Lens-All-In-One-LED-Turn-Signal-Backup-Brake-Light-For-03-09-Nissan-350Z%2F131671351191%3Ffits%3DModel%253A350Z%26hash%3Ditem1ea8395f97%3Ag%3AgYEAAOSwvfZaClYW%26vxp%3Dmtr
Did you installed load resistors for the turn signals???
+rafael soto Yes I did. I previously installed them in another video which I listed in the cards. ua-cam.com/video/1_rm5s4BxVI/v-deo.html&src_vid=RI0sMZ5P_IQ&feature=cards&annotation_id=e1f72a53-9c55-4807-beac-7a9148565f40
@@WilliamPainterSellsNavarre Not for brake, turn signal only.
Can I just remove the rear wheels to get better acces
Victor Hugo You can try but I think the aluminum bumper will get in your way.
why is the amber on when you hit brakes on drivers side the passenger side is red ?
Which part in the video?
I might have been signaling at the same time during the demo
do the lights need resistors?
DeputyDerp77 For signals yes.
Is this the clear version or smoked ?
The one on my car is the clear version
where is your shop? i live in richmond bc
Visions Electronics Surrey
how much do you charge for painting the roof black please?
AnthonyJ350 i meant the interior headliner and plastic covers
Jin Zhang I vinyl wrapped the roof, and the headlight covers I got from eBay.
Great install vid man. Thanks for taking the time to post and make the video. But lights are rice....!
But how is it rice? The car comes factory with signal and reverse already. All we did was add additional brake lights. It's a more functional mod if you ask me.
AnthonyJ350 the lights aren't rice you would think their oem
They don't have them for the 04s? :(
The back bumper should be the same from what I know. You'll have to cross reference the part number for the factory part and see if it's the same part number for those years.
+Anthonyj350 yes I did thanks a lot.
+rafael soto Awesome!
id want something like that but smoked out.
Steven Beatty Hop in their site they have a smoked out version.
Wanna get them but they are insanely expensive
They're under 200 bucks. Just don't by McDonalds 20 times in the year ;)
This isn't really an amatuer DYI (sadly).
Good thing I'm not an amateur ;P I know what you mean, it's very involved and you have to know the car pretty good, to do this well and put it back together.
Or just pay me to do it at my shop :D
The wiring i have done to my car to make the mods how i have is also vary involved. I am right now having a issue with my right fron Switchback/Turn Signal DRL. It does a strobe style flash when the engine is running and signal is activated but doesnt do it when the engine isnt running. Any ideas?
iJDM toy buys them from china for 80 bucks a piece look em up, alibaba 350z led turn signal ...
+vin digi Do you know what other electronic companies gets things made in China? Just about everyone. Unfortunately companies are out there to make money (go figure there's no electronic lighting charity) so devices have to be manufactured for less so a retailer can make money and feed their kids and send them to college to design products and have them made in China, where it makes sense to manufacture because they have the infrastructure for it. Let's not get into the politics of manufacturing because we'll start talking about unions and then it gets messy.
Companies like this make it easy for consumers like you and I to find products like this easily under one roof/ system. That costs money. And if something goes wrong with it, they support the product and warranty it for you and provide customer service if you have issues or questions. Unfortunately they do this as a living so they need to profit or there's no point. I am one of those people as well. I work in a shop and charge a fair amount of money, because I give good customer service and stand by my work. I have a value and charge it, as do you because I'm assuming you have a job.
isn't some of this footage from another video?. Lol great vid though
+Graham Petersen It is, I cut the video to remove the rear bumper and made it, its own because I thought people would find that topic useful. But it's necessary in order to do this light install. Good on ya for paying attention :)
Great video, I really enjoy watching your videos and would love to stick around to see this amazing channel grow. Keep it up man!
+Graham Petersen Well stay tuned lots more to come. If you want to help it grow, please share any content you like so other people can discover my content :)
Yes sir! I would love to do that!
Graham Petersen Awesome thanks!
Would be a great video if so much of the work done wasn't custom :/
This isn't really custom. I just wire it to make it look factory showing the proper way. It is a good amount of work to disassemble the rear of the car.
DON'T BUY
These last barely a year and then start having issues where LED's go out or flicker. Pretty disappointing especially since they aren't cheap! Then they won't even replace them, instead they sell them to you for half price rather than owning up to their poor design.
Which part is giving issues? You can wire it different and use the parking light as the brake light. Does full brightness flicker?
@@AnthonyJ350 I have owned two pairs and the first time after 8 months the reverse flickered for the left one and then bought another pair for the half price and another 10months later the running brake lights had patches from LEDs going out. Great product for look and use, but terrible durability. The first pair were used as daily driven and the second pair were barely used since my car has been completely redone and is now a weekend/show car. If you look at amazon reviews a lot of people have this issue.
love your videos though man keep up the good work!
@@BudgetBuilds3 I wired mine a little differently and have extensively upgraded the grounds in my car. I also don't daily the car so I haven't experienced the issues with the new set. I did encounter a flicker on the brightest setting on my first set.
@@BudgetBuilds3 Thank you for watching!
Looks like crap. My set have been sitting in my garage for 6 years as paper weights 👎
Thanks for sharing your opinion!
Hi Anthony, i just have one question, I have seen your great video and I'm a bit curious why you did not wire the rear fog lights, I don't know if in USA you don't need rear fog lights but in France it is mandatory for the french laws. So I suppose I cannot use high red led light for "Stop" as ypu have done but rather for "rear fog" purpose, as I have no choice ! Actually, on the 350z, we also have the stop lights on the top lights in each side of the rear car, so it is not a problem. Please confirm !
Totone Azebest In Canada we don't have the same regulations as you do. Our cars do not have rear fogs.
AnthonyJ350 ok I understand why now. I m wiring low red for daylight after key contact and high red for fog.
Thanks for clarification
I also have these LED rear lamps installed but in the UK it fails MOT as there is no fog light... I have to revert back to the standard lamp units when it's MOT time :-/
