Have you ever wondered how to install 06-08 tail lights on your 2003-2005 350Z? Well it's super simple. It can be a bit worrisome that one of the connectors isn't used but we show you here that it's completely functional.

How come my parking lights for the twilights do not stay on? Perhaps the relay switch? I’m not the brake lights react as I step the brakes in.
Hello, I have a 2004 roadster and the two connectors like the one you showed. I took the car in to be inspected and failed because when the brake pedal is pressed the third brake light lights up but there is no noticeable difference in the taillights. It appears that the large section is always fully lit and the smaller horizontal section lights up with the brake is applied.

Where can I buy those connectors on the 2003 2005 tail lights because I have the 2006 and up lights on my 2004 and I’m trying to put after market lights on but I need those socket connectors for 2003 2005
Do those light also have turn signal or is it separate
Just my opinion. Using a needle nose pliers would've been a lot safer than a flat head screw driver to remove connectors. Also, you should've taped the unused connector. Just in case
What if I want to go the other way around? install 03-05 lights on 06-08 is that possible? modification?
The reason is... I'm finding much fewer options available for 06-08 lights
@@lightningbolton5516 unfortunately not, as the it would be missing a connection . You might be able to clip the connectors out of an early model Z and wire it up with your existing tail light wiring, but we haven't tried that ourselves so I couldn't guarantee it work. If you're only option is early style lights it might be worth a shot but in terms of straight plug and play it wont work

What about the turn signal?
The rear tail lights don’t have the turn signal the turn signal is on the lower side markers in the bumper
I just purchased the JDM lights from you guys and when trying to plug them in found that the guide tabs on the sides of my plug did not match the ones on the new lights. When I called and talked to a person at CZP they said I need to just shave down the tabs. Did you not do that for this install?
these are not JDM, these are later style lights going on to an early model car

The pegs will break. Just let them break. It's inevitable. I did this swap a few years ago, with the jdm clear nissan taillights. Taking the old ones off, the pegs broke.

Makes sence I just bought sum of these on offerup rlly cheap nd one of tabs are broken but I’m pretty sure it’ll be good wit 2 bolts

just keep your eyes peeled you might get lucky and find a used set
