Impressive comeback. Also this was a case where guessing mmr would have changed a lot, as silver 3 is a lot closer to gold 1 than diamond 2 is.

I checked the balance report for PvT on season 57 to see what the actual data is (current season is 58, but it has much less data):
- 55.88% vs 44.12% bronze (P wins more)
- 54.88% vs 45.12% silver (P wins more)
- 52.60% vs 47.40% gold (P wins more)
- 53.01% vs 46.99% platinum (P windows more)
- 53.29% vs 46.71% diamond (P wins more)
- 51.13% vs 48.87% master (P wins more)
- 52.29% vs 47.71% grandmaster (P wins more)
- 53.18% vs 46.82% all (P wins more).

It's so difficult to judge a rank. I haven't touched SC2 for 3 years and then logged in to play in new season. I got curious to see whether I can get to bronze by just surrendering. I then proceed to surrender the first second I got to in each of 5 qualifying matches and it threw me in Silver 1. Purely bc apparently my APM when surrendering was higher than my opponent's. I then insta-surrendered in three more games only to remain in Silver 1.
I don't think you can get to bronze, perhaps by not moving your mouse at all during games.

I'm going to yet again guess before I hear the participants make their choices. First game, I want to say Gold 1, but I'm going to hedge and say Plat 3. There's good awareness in this game, but both players got in weird positions 'cause they both did odd custom builds. Plat 3
