I WANT IT!

- While out metal detecting and exploring I discovered this awesome old Navy ambulance stashed away and forgotten in a backfield. I think it is one of the coolest things I have ever seen and the only thing I have coveted in many a year. I am not a collector of old cars but know many people look for and search for old cars found in barns and old cars found forgotten in woods and fields. If ol' Ms. Amber Lamps ever decides to sell this awesome old car I found, I shall be her huckleberry.
We also get to detect in a field of somewhat scary Texas longhorn cattle. We find some awesome coins near this old 1700's farmhouse house and I find some interesting artifacts as well to include what may be at least one Civil War relic. Come for the military vehicle, but stay for the Texas longhorns.

It's simply amazing that that car doesn't appear to have any bullet holes and the glass isn't broken.
Thats exactly what I thought
A Chiggmobile with lights and a crank siren? Oh yeah.
For those curious, that is a 1953 or 4 packard henny junior.
Is that a custom made , because you can see where they cut the car and stretched it ?
Cool car .
Mike Espo .
Packard for real? WOW restore it!
Tyler Scott It has a cool patina but it wouldn’t be cost affective to completely restore it. They are common, you can find them on eBay every now and then.
neat looking front end
i go to car shows a lot and i have not seen a packard at any of them
best find of the day is defenetly the car! Please get it and fix her up, she is in need of care asap!
That ambulance would make one great Chigg Rig. I can see it now. Would be better than the one in Ghost Busters for sure.
Save the car! She looks to be all there, awesome piece of history!
If you don't get it Chigg, I'm sure there would be plenty of car guys who would love to restore it, shop around...that's if owner prepared to sell obviously. But deserves to be saved👍😊✌
That station wagon is amazing. Old technology, easy to fix and a body 1/8" thick!
That car has to be saved! Its a very rare car as mentioned already 1 of 500 and Navy to boot! Chigg keep us posted DONT LET IT SIT AND ROT!!!!
Matthew Barrick Same here on the junior part! I’m lucky enough to have myself a bit of a project, an old sixties Dodge sedan. Best of luck with your Chrysler. :)
There has to be a way to save.
There’s one on eBay right now. Check it out: www.ebay.com/itm/1954-Packard-Henney-Junior/324101327871?hash=item4b75f1cbff:g:NgQAAOSwnFleakFW
Yeah I'm an MVPA member and I've never seen one.
Aquachigger is the Bob Ross of the metal detecting world
That's a gorgeous car, I hope someone saves it! All the glass, the lights, everything looks intact and complete. PERFECT candidate for restoration!
Great video, and gorgeous spot!
Make a hell of a Chiggulance.
@@JohnP538 Like Ghostbusters, only more Chiggy
@@oakknobrocks1772 Yeah, I see a rack for his detectors and shovel, as well as a nice box for his wet suit. Slide the kayak in the middle and hit the road. Modify the horn so it sounds like a nice squeaker.
Another nice adventure with Todd. You guys sure find some fantastic old homesteads, and that Navy ambulance was to die for. Thanks for the fun and laughter. Have a great day!
Lesa Hanners thanks. I will make sure he knows.
Got to love those relics. A bad day metal detecting is better than a good day working.
Good Day Sir
I want to thank you for your amazing videos! It was watching your videos that encouraged me to not only get back into detecting, but also to purchase my AT Pro International! I live in Maritime Canada and have unearthed alot of amazing old coins and relics at some of the hundreds of acres of permissions I have in my area. If you should ever decide to spend some time detecting in the Moncton or Sackville Newbrunswick areas, please look me up! I would gladly take you out to some new permissions that I have not yet detected. Thank you again and I look forward to more amazing videos!

You have a good eye, that Packard ambulance is absolutely oozing with cool!
I heard my 5 yr old singing “Mother Earth is my baby, my big round baby...” it was then I knew I might be in chiggs army
HAHAHA LOLOLOL! How cute!
When my kid saw her first Aquachigger video, she was gripped by it ... then absolutely beamed when the closing theme came on. It's good stuff, innit?
@@jailbreak2000 It si my favorite YT channel!
Simply adorable. Catchy tune, too. I sing with it everytime it's on. 😁 'Chigg's Army, indeed!
👍Like the ambulance👍
Many years ago I read in Hemmings Motor news that the Packard ambulance was the rarest of Packards, only about a handful were made and even a car in that shape would be viable for restoration if it's as rare as I heard it was and that is easy to check out
That property gave up some pretty cool iron relics! I'd say it's worth another trip or two.
That's is one beautiful pce of property..well cared for..
Alex Archbold from Curiosity Inc. would love that ambulance too!
I was thinking the same thing. That would be a fun project to watch
He posted a photo of it this morning with primer on it!
Diary of a Grim Reaper Alex never has enough to work on. Unfortunately this has to get from the US all the way to Edmonton, Canada!
1953-54 Packard Henney Junior. That is 1 of 500.
JWENGLEHART
Now that’s a barn find .....
Water fountain spout. The hole had a button in it. About 6 months ago, I gave a 1951 Packard Patrician/400 w/Ultramatic transmission and a flat straight 8, to my brother-in-law, who has a bodyshop. It had been parked 15 or so years and someone stole the radiator and it was rapidly deteriorating. I drove it for several years in the late 90's-early 2000's. It needed brakes and the backseat reupholstered when I parked it in the barn. None of the glass was broken and it had all its knobs, handles, hubcaps, fender skirts, sun visor, ashtrays, and lighters. The paint job, dark green was in decent shape The plastic light covers were cracking and breaking. It was getting rust holes along the bottom and the door springs were springing? sprunging?. The glass was starting to craze. It had the Cormorant hood ornament and you cranked it by patting the accelerator. I couldn't bear to watch it rust down. So I gave it to somebody that would fix it. It drove like a tank. You had better start turning or stopping before you needed to! But it rode like you were sitting on your couch in the living room watching the world go by. The back seat was even better riding than the front. One of my favorite cars ever.
What a spectacular home and property in a gorgeous location. I'd love to live there! Hey Chig, that ambulance is PERFECT for a metal detecting vehicle! People will love it and be glad to let you metal detect on their property just so they can look at your own ambulance. I believe it's a Packard, certainly able to be restored! You'd look great driving around in that!
One of the most wholesome youtubers to ever exist! Love ya Chigg!
Thanks, I appreciate that.
Love the ambulance....
Someone start a go fund me for the chigg to buy and restore that car for his chigg army with over 1 million subs if we all donated just 1 dollar he could easily afford to get that car and back to its original condition.
I'm in
Where do I send my dollar. I would love to see that car restored, it’s too nice to let it rot away in the field.
Yes, you need the Chiggbulance. Hope it goes your way. Hi Todd. Good finds. Everyone stay awesome and much respect,
Doug Alexander thanks! We will be going back. There are 2 old log cabins by it. I think Chigg needs to make her an offer on the ambulance
OMG!!! The glass in that car is UNOBTANIUM and it's it great condition! (the glass... I don't know about the car). I saw a previous comment of it being a Packard... I agree.
Thank you for making this content. You really do a great job and always bring a smile to my face.
I enjoy watching you dig up every little/big anything. It's your reaction to the thing that is entertaining. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What a nice place. House, land and the ambulance.
With the horns it is not a moo cow it is a “ you better move “ cow.
Another great video Chigg. Thanx so much. always look forward to seeing A AQUACHIGGER ADVENTURE. see ya on the next
Wow, what a neat old ambulance. Looks like Packard from early to mid 50s. Pretty rare from what know.
I freakin LOVE the ambulance!!!!!!!
That's a savage ambulance... make a bid!
Great video ! Greetings from holland
Kudos to the 70s vintage Spearhead jacket. Looks like it is your good luck jacket.
Get that car and restore it! WOW!!
The hole on the spout, is for drinking. You plug the big end with your thumb and water shoots up into your face (most of the times). We had a looot of those back in the day in Europe, in the days of more pleasant public behavior.
The ambulance is super cool!
Get it, plenty room for the boat
Your first iron target was a handle to a farm tool. Wrap the metal around a wooden shaft slide on a wooden handle and bolt on.
Usually what happens is the whole bottom of cars that have sat on the ground for decades will be completely rusted out. That one is probably not restorable back to its original condition without spending more that it'd be worth. One in running condition is about 8 thousand dollars. Which is probably why it's still sitting there.
I think Todd looks like Dave from storage wars.. YUUPP!
Get the car! Mustie1 will fix it up, good as sorta rusty new! Truly, a relic with the print still visible.
CHIGG!!!!!! YOU HAVE TO GET THAT BUDDY, OMG THE NEW CHIGG MOBILE. DAM I LOVE WHAT A GREAT FIND. I'M AMAZED EVERY WINDOW IS STILL THERE..
Chigg you need an ambulance!!! 😂 Moar 👍👍👍
Save the car !!!! Thanks for sharing
That ambulance would be awesome to haul your gear in Beau
Hell yeah!! Drop it on a suburban drivetrain and it could be Chiggs Travel Tank! 😁
Chances are the left side of the patio sunk, as opposed to the right side lifting. Another cool video, Chigg! Hope you're coming back up this way this summer.. I have a list of crazy places for us to go :D
Great video I’d love to live there be safe Chigg GOD BLESS
wow what a find in the car. bet you can find someone to tow it home for ya on a flatbed hauler. might be interesting getting a tow truck in there. You could get that and show us the whole process from beginning of the restoration to fully finished. Chigg Mobile! . You know if the car" turns you on"...its a keeper. lol. let us know ..good video.
What an amazing car, I sure would like to see that guy all fixed up!
Real rare packard ambulance. Only 500 made.....
Well, you got me into metal detecting Mr Chigg, bought an AT Max and having a great time, if you want to restore that fantastic car I'll be watching!
Wow looks like a great area for detecting. 👍 what a cool old car , awesome. Beautiful old house too.
Nice, just settling down and boom an upload from the man himself, the chig
Oh wow, gorgeous property, wonder what you will find! Getting my popcorn!
Ask the owner if you can have that ride! It would look fantastic all fixed up!
That ambulance has a hood ornament like a Chevrolet hood bird but it doesn't look like a Chevy.
That's a shame for it to be sitting in a field just rotting away. Its a piece of history and I'm sure someone would love to buy it and restore it. Talk him into selling it Chigg.
That's a PACKARD! That grille is a dead give-away. My bet: it was an ambulance.
Too bad that the old well is contaminated (septic tank is near). As a former Architect trainee, I'd say that the house is not well connected with the porch. The house is "dragging" the heavier part of the porch with it, while the one that is not connected (the concrete broke, perhaps the reinforcing bars, if there are any are broken too, or have rotted away due to the moisture). I could draw you a sketch drawing of it if you want to. Also that car is lovely if only it could be restored ...
That car is a 50s Packard ambulance. Awsome car. I want it to. Very cool car
I can see it now, the new Chig Rig!
That is an awesome house!
Cool old vehicle foresure. Love that home, how awesome. The land is beautiful out there. Congrats on the relics.
I’d love to detect anywhere in America! Maybe one day...
Lovely spoon bud..👍
Great location Beau, well done and congrats. atb ;)
Nice, well groomed home. I am surprised it's way out in the woods.
Buy the ambulance from her. Fix the motor and drive as it is. Looks awesome with the rust
Chigbusters mobile...lol
exactly what i thought when i seen it. lol
I found something exactly like that at a 1700's farm I detect in Maryland.
Could be used as a prop in a Ghostbusters movie ! 👻
get it chig you would look good in it.
That Packard is beautiful! I jusr bought one myself, not an ambulance but a sedan. They are outstanding cars and very well built! Go get it!
great video, love the ambulance, also love the jacket, I served in the 3rd Ad
Cool old vehicles
That doodad is definitely a thingamajig...possibly a hoosiwhatsit.
That would be so cool fixed up! All the glass and even the headlamps.
👍 Well it wasn't a badd day you can take that ambulance you can turning into the chigger Van
i like that old car too, i would buy it and throw it on a crown vic frame and drive it the way it looks
That would make a fine ChigRig
The glass isn't even cracked! Wow!
Nice Mr Chigg!!!!
Beau that spicket home made 60's Wackey Backey pipe!!!; )
So after some quick research less than 500 Packard ambulances were built between 1953 and 1954 and in the year 1954 only 120 were manufactured which makes it quite collectible. You would have to get the VIN number to find out if that was a 53 or 54.
The Long bolt with the circle with split shaft look to be just right for the size posts on the house
iron Loop with split to wedge reins strap maybe.....
Shield nickel is around 1865, it’s a bucket lister for many of us
Chigg, you have the platform and clout to do it, send the clip of that car to Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz (the American Pickers) they can respectfully bring it back to life and we get to see The Chigg do a cameo on American Pickers.
I dug that same rusty thing with the loop thats split onthe shaft, it was a civilwar site, but could've been plowed after the war
That flat piece with a slot looks like the side plate for a barrel pin on a muzzleloader
Some where a car guy just passed out when you showed the ambulance in the field.
That ambulance is beyond rare. Plus is sweeeeeet looking
The long bolt with the round en, It's an old sickle handle
That car can be fully restored!! Unbelievable that the glass is still in tacked.
Chigg's babbling brook gota love it.
Nice....Old Spearhead soldier myself........
Chigg; You are the only person I know that has the nerve to call a Longhorn Cattle a Cow !!!!
