Thanks Chig. That little box looks like the aspirin boxes that you find in tackle boxes. They would drop one in the minnow bucket to keep them alive longer.....or so they say.
Great videos chigg. What a beautiful day to be out in the creeks. Why can't these days last forever ? If only they would. We know what awaits us in the coming months. Good old mother nature will bless us with snow white ground covering. Then not long till it all starts all over again. You guys had a day of great finds too. That's a day maker when you get to find those war relics an buttons an coins etc.. What a wonderful feeling it is when you reach down in that water an bring up a true piece of history. The best thing out of it all is you guys had a great day out as friends doing what we love to do. An that is hunting for the rewards the creeks are saving for us until we get to that spot. Well guys get out in the water as many times as you can before it's to cold to do it. An find those gold an silver coins an as many bullets an cannon balls as you can before it all freezes over. Chigg an Todd, as always safe an happy/hunting an good luck in the coming days.😁👍👍
The dial indicator on the paddle was so that you can adjust the pitch of the blade on the fly. Instead of changing hand position, you just keep it the same and increase or decrease your pitch to increase or decrease how much water the blade bites.
Thanks for this interesting video. I was born and grew up in SW Pa near Fort Necessity, later Fort Ligonier and what is now known as Fort Bouquet. My grandparents were very much interested in history and heritage, igniting my lifetime of research and collecting. I feel more grateful now more than ever in that history and heritage are two things very much discouraged by educators. Please continue with your valuable hobby and know that there are people quite interested!
Dude, what a hunt. Awsome river and lottsa buttons. Great place Chiggbeau👊💥. Great hunt my brother, you the man. Sweet hunt n finds, look for Indian artifacts when ya go back too. Worth goin back after a flood😉. Thank u 2 Todd
Love walking in creeks like that. We used to camp on steel creek in the mtns of NC when my kids were young. The mountains are calling. Guess I'm going to have to go. Thanks for a great adventure with you and Todd
@@HamSandwitchClips You're right, The Chigg does his homework plus, a small measure of luck and, the fact that he's familiar with a lot of the territory he hunts.
Good adventure... Let's get that underwater drone in some caves! Let's find some new cathedral caverns! Littered with gold coins! Better invest in a scoop shovel!! Chigg
Man, what amazing finds! Its really amazing! Its fun to think about how those things got down there. Just found your channel and I'm hooked! Lol I think I'm going to go metal detecting as well. There are tons of old homes out here that are crumbling. Some you can tell belonged to people with some money, so who knows what I'll find.
Great video The copper electrical thing is a twist sleeve or twist splice They were used to splice two ends of copper overhead power lines together Primarily from early 1900s They were replaced with modern splices in the 1960s
hair barrette i would say at very least 100 yrs old plus - ive got a few identical ones from old beach/wharf areas where i found coins and relics from early 1900s late 1800s
So was there a a battle spot right there at that spot? You sure found a few things to add to your tackle box. Since it was the French and Indian War I was hoping you might find some arrowheads or spear points, I know not with a metal detector of course, but that water was sure clear enough to see them if they were there. Thanks for sharing I do enjoy your videos God bless
Was just about to hit the hay then I get a notification for a chigg vid looks like I'll be here for another 30 mins. 😂 love the videos chigg, keep them coming.

Nice little river , I think a land hunt just above the spot you found the buttons and coin would be a good place to detect. Thanks Chigg

Awesome hunt! Looks like you both had a great day!
I do a lot of long distance kayaking, the paddle you found has an adjustable feather to reduce wrist strain. Also great for paddling into a head wind.

The small box at 24:53 reminds me of a small box we had as a kid the held Bayer aspirin in...🤷♀️
I always look foreward to Sunday afternoon! Thank you for yet another great vid Chigg:)

That looks like a sarvin style wagon/buggy hub Mr. Chigg!
Awesome finds!

That was a really relaxing hunt!
Great video
The copper electrical thing is a twist sleeve or twist splice
They were used to splice two ends of copper overhead power lines together
Primarily from early 1900s
They were replaced with modern splices in the 1960s
Another great video from the master of metal detecting.
For water searching like that we used to use an old ping pong paddle for rapid movement of bottoms sand or soil.
When will you be getting hats back in? I sure would love too have one Beau😁
I've asked a few times 🤷
I love it when you say hold your breath ,you need a tee shirt with that on it I'd by it hope you have a great day ,from the wildman67 good video .

Hi Tod Hi Chigg love your videos always
Love it hen yo go in he rivers. We here in Northern California have nothing like them.
How can that be? Never been up to northern CA. I thought there'd be plenty of tivers up there.
Hey I use those kayak paddles lol. Not the nicest but they are cheap and adjustable, well when you have both ends of it lol
As the writer/fly fisherman John Gierach put it in a title to his book, "Death, Taxes and Leaky Waders" ....good read by the way.
Check out 14:33 right center of screen sure looks like a nice corner notch point!!
hope all is well with you and yours during your RR abroad
And Arrowheads, too?!😉😁👍
Nice to see you back in the water getting your feet wet.
Always watching you bro!! Greetings from argentina ;)
My comments to show support for your Videos are as follows. -Big Thumbs Up
that was a split shot fishing weight you found.
Surprised you didn’t find any ball buttons. I always find them at the French Indian war sites.
