So the Lord of Torture had no daughters... and the only things left in the tower were his instruments of torture. An iron *maiden* locks the victim inside, a *rack* stretches the victim by pulling on the limbs, and a *gibbet*, as I'm told, is an iron cage from where the victim is hanged. The instruments may have somehow been brought to life and are carrying out their "father's" wish.
oh yes let me buy an untranslated manga with my nonexistent money and nonexistent knowledge of Japanese off some website, likely one that's Japanese, which isn't AmazonJP cause it's not on there, which I can read with my aforementioned nonexistent knowledge of Japanese fucking genius
For those curious, the series consists of 3 Novels and a manga. There’s quite a bit under the read more + spoilers about the characters. Gibbet lures people in, Rack tortures them and Maiden ends their life when they are too broken to be tortured. They do this to return Beritoad back to his original form. Two of them were really just the torture devices (Iron Maiden and a Rack) brought to life when near the god (although technically is a wraith), Beritoad. Rack is part of a powerful wraith called Amostia (which is very likely to be that Amostia at the end of Outlaw and Lychgate) , she meets the soul of it called Amo who indirectly references Riliane and Allen in the two of them. The climax of the third novel is the incomplete fusion into Amostia (Amo, the soul of it wasn’t in it) causing chaos. Gibbet’s case is a little complicated, she’s actually the illegitimate daughter (born as Christabel Blanken) of the father they want to revive (both are HERs). But her consciousness is a fusion of Christabel and the wraith Stolasophia after a failed possession by the wraith in her childhood. She was then tortured by Rack and Maiden on Beritoad’s orders to lose her memories and was implanted memories as a Gibbet. At the end of the third novel she decided to stay as Gibbet even when she recovered her memory as both, this time only luring in people like her; HERs. There were hints throughout the story that she was somewhat human by the fact that she gets hungry and can bleed unlike her ‘sisters’. The Clown is called Raymond and is the child of Beritoad, making him half human and wraith. He’s a clown during the day and a wraith hunter at night. Wraiths have been a recurring thing in this world and in The Forth Period.
@@Vettler_ Unfortunately none exists from a quick search, though Price did express some interest in potentially translating the first volume. Of those two Blink would definitely be better, after all Michaela died in Millennium Wiegenlied… It's pretty damn beautiful song, and I love it, but it's not all that innocent.
Between the Tower of Torture and Evil's Theater I wonder which would be the most stupid to try and break in. On one hand you have a place dedicated to torturing people and on the other a place guarded by a cannibal.
I love how songs like this and Fictional Masquerade and stuff were in no way related to EC, and then Mothy just comes along with his new album like “lol jk it’s all connected.”
As the owner of both Mayu and VY1, they do have a similar voice type. The only difference is Mayu is pretty 'breathy' and soft while Vy1 is strong and slightly more matured. I always think that Vy1 is an older sister of Mayu lol
GUISE. HOW DID I NOT REALIZE THIS BEFORE. Gibbet: a cage where people were hung above crowds, then left to starve Rack: torture device used to stretch someone apart (iron) maiden: a coffin thing with spikes where people were trapped inside The clown gave this away, saying he had no daughters, just left behind torture instruments. The people in towns nearby must have made up metaphors and stories!
This definitely takes place in a universe seperate from EC. The only way I could see this being connected is the lake mentioned at the beginning being a reference to the Spring that represents Envy.
(( I just realized... The three daughters are named after torture devices. Gibbet, which is a gallows-type device. Rack, which is where you strap down the victim and stretch them, dislocating their limbs And Iron Maiden, which has a bunch of spikes on the inside that impale the victim on the inside. ))

Yes. the series name is the Sleepless Torture Tower series. It already have few chapters of the manga released (read it here mangafox.me/manga/goumontou_wa_nemuranai_doukeshi_no_shou/ or here project-torture.tumblr.com/) but it seems Mothy postponed that project and I heard he planned to continue this series AFTER he finished Evillious. And sadly, this series have no other song.
Because I doubt that Mothy actually means it when he says this isn't EC (May I remind you of Re_Birthday?) I think that this may essentially be the theater, but for the other characters, the smaller ones. Seth Twilight, Adam and Eve, just a thought.
I would say that this has nothing to do with EC, but I've said that in the past about Blood-Stained Switch and been wrong. Mothy has the amazing ability of deceiving us like this.

No, re_birthday HAS to be part of EC. Because Irregular was shown in Capriccio Farce, which IS in EC. I mean, he had the red handcuffs and Blue chains as described in Re_Birthday

I never said it wasn't...? When he first released re_Birthday, mothy stated it had nothing to do with SoE (This was prior to Evillious knowledge). Now, however, it is part of several sub series in EC, such as SoE, End of Four, and the Clockwork Lullaby.

Also remember Gear in Capriccio Farce: "The only ones to be truly terrible, where the humans desires."
In the song it says that the Maiden "imprisons inside". Could they have meant the torture device called "iron maiden"? I mean it does imprison inside XD
Yep. Gibbet, the eldest sister's name, means gallows. Rack reffers to a rack you place someone on and basically stretch their body (Best way I can explain it.) And maiden obviously reffers to the iron maiden.
but she does also represent a devil like figure. could this mean she might be an androginous chrarcter? after all even though the characters might look like the vocaloids there's no actual connection between them. she doesn't have to be female.
