Iv ate at the Restaurant Pacific Sea Food. I was visiting from California I have family in that area. Going up in March 2023. Can't wait to go crabbing again. Thanks
Hey, I’m sure somebody probably mentioned this to you already, but those red rock are invasive they destroy Dungeness habitats they eat baby, Dungeness crabs, and there might not be as much meat in the body as you may want but the claws are pretty tasty. Some people actually like the claws better than Dungy claws
We definitely did not mention that and sure do appreciate the information. Would have been a great educational piece to put in the video. We know several folks who prefer red rock over Dungeness and find the meat to be much sweeter.
It's on the north side of the bridge. Basically if you're coming from Lincoln City you hit a left before the bridge and if you're coming from the other way you take a right after the bridge and follow signs for "Historic Bayfront." Close by is Ripley's Believe It or Not, Pacific Seafood, Mo's and Tradewinds Charters! There are at least three public locations you can crab off that stretch. Good luck!
@@nicholastaylor564 That sounds fun! We've given Barview Jetty a couple tries in the past with no luck but that's about it. Definitely an area we are wanting to fish more!
