Just look at how many of those Dallas wins were against tanking teams or teams resting before the playoffs... The track record isn't all that at all...
Because Nick has his own thoughts and doesn't parrot the narrative. The narrative is created by the media to stir up drama and the bandwagon fans eat it up. Real fans see the numbers every Sunday and watch NFL film and understand who is good and who is bad.
Because of the other implications, when you get put on a list with some of the greatest of all time and you have no postseason success, then for every positive that Nick can say about the regular season, 10 times the criticism can be levied against the clear levels of choke and failure the cowboys have had. Micah complained that we judge Dak unfairly, well if Nick wants us to use Brady, Steve Young, Mahones, etc as the benchmarks, then its about to get a lot worse for Dak, not better.
@@momokie the problem with that logic though is that it’s a category error. Dak being comparable to Brady in how they play their own respective divisions is not a comparison to Brady is general. Brou's argument for why the 49ers should be number one is the same argument he ignored from Nick about the Cowboys beating the Eagles. The Cowboys own the Eagles, and the 49ers own the Cowboys, but if Dallas actually goes out there and dominates the Eagles then they deserve the number one spot. The 49ers haven't won a game in a month.

Cause they don't own these eagles Dak getting his record fat by going 4-0 against a rebuilding team for 2 seasons doesn't move anyone. Zeke owned the eagles. Not Dak.
The way Nick changes his viewpoint based on his picks is insane. Saying it didn't matter that Jalen Hurts was out last year is absolutely insane. He would never say that about a team he picked. In fact isn't his new favorite saying "49ers would have won if Brock Purdy didn't get hurt." But also Brock Purdy isn't good and having your starter in doesn't matter. Smh, I remember when Nick was good at his job.
I was thinking the same thing, obviously Jalen being out would matter. But Brou saying the cowboys wouldn't win the NFC if they beat the eagles was just more favoritism.
I dont get why Broussard says we beat the jets when it was their first game AFTER the Rodgers injury. Dude was injured 4 plays into the first game and the Eagles lost to that same Jets team who didnt have Rodgers either and they were without their 2 starting CBs
At this point, I only watch to see Nick try and justify his hate of the Eagles. His takes are typically wrong and he consistently shows that you can manipulate data to reflect whatever your heart desires.
@@gee53 He' right, though. Last year the Vikings had a similar record against similar caliber teams. Then, once they started playing tougher teams mid-season, everyone saw what they were, an average team with an average defense good at coming back in close games and winning against bad-average teams, but horrible against good teams. Dallas slaughtered them week 9 43-3 in Minneapolis. That's the Eagles entire season in a nutshell, beating bad-average teams. The only team they played and beat that was any good was the Dolphins who lost due to poor officiating in the Eagles favor and having some of their star players out due to injuries. Last weekends game against the Commanders was far from favorable for the Eagles, it was a really bad W for them. This Dallas game is bigger for the Eagles than it is for Dallas. If the Eagles lose this, then we all knew their season record is inflated with wins over teams they should be beating anyway

Brou just explained Dallas to perfection! They choke in big games, we know they’re good but are they elite? They need to win this game for their own mindset and confidence
They own the Eagles, even when the Eagles are elite and Dallas isn't, Dallas still owns them. Remember, the last time Dak lost to then was in '17 meaning he beat them twice in '18, the same year the Eagles won the Super Bowl. This is more a matter of will the Eagles choke in a divisional game again? Or will they try to win. Don't forget, the Eagles almost choked against a really bad Commanders team last weekend until they pulled off the W last minute. With Dallas' defense, if they get behind they won't come back like that as easily
@@Mike-8404crazy how y’all forget Dak losing to Carson Wentz in 2019 when the eagles had janitors playing wr and Wentz lost to Seattle in the wildcard game
Let's just ignore every other game they won including almost winning said super bowl, which they only lost cuz mahomes is the best talent we've ever seen
@samuelgaona7196 ah yes, their 14-3 season was only due to the couple of wins they got when backups were there. Sure. Didn't have one of the best rosters or running games in the nfl at all.
What? Are you sane? Jalen didn't play and the 49ers had their qb. He got Injured which is part of the game. They would have lost with Purdy. He wasn't doing anything.
@yb7qy Purdy went down in the first drives where he drove them to the 50 and was injured. That's not "having your quarterback." Thats also not "doing nothing." By the end of the game, skill positions were taking snaps, Purdy was out there for show because Johnson was in concussion protocol. They made a rule for an emergency 3rd QB because of that game.
The Eagles are "doomed to lose" if Hurts and the offense play they way they did against the Jets. If they cannot limit costly turnovers and score TDs, plus if the defense can't stop Dallas' offense, they will get destroyed. I'm predicting that the offense will commit turnovers this game, but will still put plenty of points on the board. Defense needs to do their job.
It's all going to come down to how Mccarthy wants to handle this, it's show up time. If cowboys win, we know that the Cowboys are serious contenders for the Super Bowl. If eagles win, the we know that they will not be stopped by any other team considering Dallas has one of the best Defenses in the league. For Dallas to win, it's going to be containing hurts and the pass. I belive cowboys can stop the run if they cover edges which is where swift loves to run. The eagles need to pressure Dak at all costs forcing bad throws and possibly picks. This is a clash of the titans here. The NFL will Shake from this game.
I actually thought the dak NFCE winning percentage graph was surprising and relevant. Cowboys playoff success argument would be solid if it was January rn... But it's not
My favorite sports show hands down! Fun, great analysis, chemistry, just a good show and the only sports show where I can watch/listen to the whole thing
“Last year when he beat em Jalen Hurts didn’t play.” Would not have made a difference. Jalen only put 20 something points the last time. Dak put 40 POINTS on that supposed best defense in the league.
Yes it would have Minshew turned it over 3 times and the defense Jalen played earlier in the year was better than the one Minshew played later. The Dallas defense faded as the season went on you clown.
What is Nick talking about? Hurts was 3rd in the league last year in yards per attempt and 1st in completion percentage of throws over 20 yards. Him saying he didn't throw it down the field last year is bogus, as usual for Nick Wrong.
Nick Wright hates the Eagles. If a college team was playing the Eagles he would pick the college team. His arguments hold no weight. Last season if Hurts was not injured the Cowboys would have lost that game. Keep grinding Nick! 😂
"Dak can't be trusted because x happened in the past." "But Dak has been great against NFC East opponents" "That's irrelevant because it happened in the past." Literally the entire argument the haters always use is based on past seasons with different rosters, coaches, schemes, etc. Notice they don't ever bring up relevant information from the current season, like how they played against common opponents. Nope, the cowboys, with a QB who is 8-3 against Philly and 27-6 in division games, will lose because, I guess something from 1999 or whatever.
I still can't believe how things went after Dallas got clocked by S.Fran....I thought Dallas might just fall apart....and the exact opposite happened to both of those teams.....so far. This season is full of surprises...and that's what makes this sport so much fun.
Dak is essentially 1-1 in Philadelphia! 2016: benched after 8 passes (1 sees) 2017: eagles benched all starters (1 seed) 2018: Big mid season win 2019: Loss ended playoff hopes 2020: injured 2021: eagles benched starters (clinched) 2022: Injured

Dallas need this win more last time they faced a good team they got cooked and served with that being said i got Philly winning
Wildes is awesome and deserves more respect on this show 🙂
Brou just explained Dallas to perfection!
When have the cowboys beat a good to elite Philly team? WITH their starting QB? I’ll wait
kevin Wildes needs his own mockumentary sports comedy
So Dak's win over the Eagles doesn't count because Hurts was out, but Jalen making a Super Bowl run against a 9ers team with no QB is legit.
Let's just ignore every other game they won including almost winning said super bowl, which they only lost cuz mahomes is the best talent we've ever seen
Well don't stop there, you could argue Philly only beat Dallas because Rush was in the game not Dak
They turned Nick’s Graphic On Dak Against Him 😂😂💀💀 Classic
The Eagles are "doomed to lose" if Hurts and the offense play they way they did against the Jets. If they cannot limit costly turnovers and score TDs, plus if the defense can't stop Dallas' offense, they will get destroyed. I'm predicting that the offense will commit turnovers this game, but will still put plenty of points on the board. Defense needs to do their job.
Jets or Washington both times
If this if that Dallas better not play the way they played against Arizona 😂
@@milliondollarmomentsllc1703 Or San Fran. I'm praying they do because that will seriously be hilarious if the Eagles blew them out.
They played 2 games since...
Brou’s argument was “it’s different” 😂
I know sometimes people don’t like Nick’s takes but come on…his graphic was appropriate for the conversation 😂
I hope our secondary is seeing all the disrespect they are getting. They need to play better. Talent is there.
I actually thought the dak NFCE winning percentage graph was surprising and relevant. Cowboys playoff success argument would be solid if it was January rn... But it's not
Jalen threw for 155 against the cowboys last year.
and they won?
My favorite sports show hands down! Fun, great analysis, chemistry, just a good show and the only sports show where I can watch/listen to the whole thing
“Last year when he beat em Jalen Hurts didn’t play.”
Would not have made a difference.
Jalen only put 20 something points the last time. Dak put 40 POINTS on that supposed best defense in the league.
Are you stupid? Game plans change when specific QBs play. Also, Jalen plays to runs the clock
Yes it would have Minshew turned it over 3 times and the defense Jalen played earlier in the year was better than the one Minshew played later. The Dallas defense faded as the season went on you clown.
The Eagles took their foot of the gas.
7:30 I love how they bringing up super bowls and stuff when it’s literally a graphic about the best records against the division 😂😂
that was broussarded
😂😂😂
Thanks Nick for not ignoring Dak’s numbers vs the Eagles
Eagles have scrapped by “mediocre” teams where Dallas has dominated..
Refs gave them Miami…
Some might say this is some sort of MUST WIN. I’ll take it.
What is Nick talking about? Hurts was 3rd in the league last year in yards per attempt and 1st in completion percentage of throws over 20 yards. Him saying he didn't throw it down the field last year is bogus, as usual for Nick Wrong.
are you sure about that?
Cowboys winning this game
That graphic was so irrelevant Nick
Brou was struggling at the end 😅
Nick Wright hates the Eagles. If a college team was playing the Eagles he would pick the college team. His arguments hold no weight. Last season if Hurts was not injured the Cowboys would have lost that game. Keep grinding Nick! 😂
Jalen was clearly limping last two games and is now wearing a brace so we will see how that holds up
"Dak can't be trusted because x happened in the past."
"But Dak has been great against NFC East opponents"
"That's irrelevant because it happened in the past."
Literally the entire argument the haters always use is based on past seasons with different rosters, coaches, schemes, etc. Notice they don't ever bring up relevant information from the current season, like how they played against common opponents. Nope, the cowboys, with a QB who is 8-3 against Philly and 27-6 in division games, will lose because, I guess something from 1999 or whatever.
What's his record against Philly as an underdog? He went 4-0 against the rebuilding eagles for 2 years and you idiots have lost your minds.
Nick's hair is looking extremely luscious
Never been happier to see Brou!
I still can't believe how things went after Dallas got clocked by S.Fran....I thought Dallas might just fall apart....and the exact opposite happened to both of those teams.....so far. This season is full of surprises...and that's what makes this sport so much fun.
Laughing at Nicks graphic was about the funniest thing I've seen in a while
Why he bringin up a 40-33 game with our backup who had 3int? He literally saying that’s a good thing for Dallas? I’m soo confused how that makes sense
He keeps saying hurts couldn't have done better. It's insane
If Dallas wins they would have best odds, you don’t get the best odds In the nfc for losing 3 straight games
Brew mentioned Jalen not being there but failed to mention Cooper had a chance to beat them and barely pulled out that game!
Dak is essentially 1-1 in Philadelphia!
2016: benched after 8 passes (1 sees)
2017: eagles benched all starters (1 seed)
2018: Big mid season win
2019: Loss ended playoff hopes
2020: injured
2021: eagles benched starters (clinched)
2022: Injured
I hate it when these people start trying to shout each other down. Jeez guys just have a conversation.
This clip funny af🤣🤣🤣😂🤣 that's as bad as your jimmy g graphic 🤣🤣😂☠️
Cowboys 17 - Eagles 26
We with ya nick
