I felt like this was much more of a demo than a review. With a review, I want to hear what the reviewer likes and dislikes about the pedal and hoe it stacks up to other pedals.
Might be right because he goes straight to the point and doesn't play around in an annoying way, it's just perfect it clarifies how does it sound with or without the pedal and how can you use it.
Hey TangoNevada, thanks for the question! The EHX Holy Grail Nano requires a power supply to function. There is no place for a battery. Luckily, it comes with a power supply for you, so you don't have to pick anything else up! If you want to dig in about pedals, give me a shout, would love to help out! Hi, Alexis. Yes, the Holy Grail uses standard 9V, center pin negative power. It can be powered off the 1 Spot, Boss PSA120, or any of the major power bricks. It also comes with a power supply in the box. Thanks for your interest! Charlie Davis, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1320, charlie_davis@sweetwater.com
@@Tapepusher my wife is a painter. She likes to mix 33% blue with 67% yellow. She knows her shit, she noticed right away when she's been a beginner, that this gives a very different kinda green than the other way around. Her beginner friend didn't notice and still do not today. Who's still a painter today, and who's not?
Hello! It works on 9v, so any pedal power supply that steps down from the wall power to 9v will work for this. I would make sure that the power supply you use can handle the UK voltage, and is for a 9v pedal like this. If you were able to somehow run the full 240v from the wall into this, I believe it would explode. Thanks for the interest! Well spoken, well played and superb phrasing on the licks. Why can't all demo's be like this.
I would definitely say sweetwater has the best reviews online rightnow.

Are you high?
Pro Guitar shop has Andy and he's the top dam dog of gear reviews.
There's no one like Stefan of the Pedal Zone!!!

This dude can literally be in any band he wants too, but he works in the guitar shop! Real respect there!

Damn that thing is sweet!
Great reviews! Can anyone point out the chords in the outro?
PERFECT,, VERY GOOD!!!
The tone on that intro, tho. Dang.
what would be some others pedals to add to this pedal?
chorus or tremolo for some killer clean riffing!
delay + distortion also for a good liquid soloing tone
Great review. Straight to the point which seems rare for reviews strangely enough. Does anyone know how much this pedal would cost new in Canada?
about 160 CAD my brother. At least thats what its listed at on Long and McQuade's website
@@E-Bizzy thanks

3:01 that's all you need to hear. I don't know why reviews mix in dry signal at all when showing how a reverb pedal sounds... lol
Because most of the time guitar players use just a bit of reverb mixed with the dry signal...
🤓
@@guitareMTL Ye, so you need to hear what that 20% wet signal will sound like lol
