The Electro-Harmonix Oceans 11’s reverbs are:
1. HALL - the rich reverberant sound of a grand concert hall
2. SPRING - pays homage to the classic Fender® 6G15 tube spring reverb
3. PLATE - the lush, warm reverb that got its name because a large metal plate was originally used to create it
4. REVRS - emulates the quirky reverse reverb effect where a note’s reverb fades-in backwards. (Jimmy Page claims to have invented it.)
5. ECHO -sends a recirculating echo thru the Plate reverb. The crisp clear delays get tastefully smudged by the airy plate reverb
6. TREM - reverb plus tremolo that’s applied to both the wet and dry mix of a Hall reverb, your choice of three different tremolo shapes
7. MOD - modulated reverb, three modes. Chorus laced onto the reverb tails creates a luscious atmospheric effect. Flanger wraps around the reverb tails and weaves a hypnotic tapestry. Chorus and flanger combined.
8. DYNA - Swell, gate and duck. Swell silences your notes’ attacks before blooming the tails back into the soundscape. Gate passes the reverb tail thru a noise gate that opens when it detects playing. (Phil Collins popularized the technique by applying it to drums.) Duck compresses the reverb tail while you’re playing and fades it back in when you’re resting.
9. AUTO-INF - Auto-infinite reverb that triggers a reverb wash for each note or chord. When a new one is struck, the previously resounding reverb crossfades to the new one
10. SHIM - Shimmer generates a rich octave-shifted reverb wash that modulates and blossoms behind your signal
11. POLY - Polyphonic reverb, two configurable bi-directional pitch shifts operating on your pre-reverb signal. Combine dissonant intervals with near infinite decays to create disorienting soundtracks, or choose perfect/major intervals to generate creative harmonies when jumping around a key signature
The Electro-Harmonix Oceans 11 reverb pedal features powerful, yet intuitive “hidden” parameters accessible thru its Secondary Knob Mode that let the player take greater control of its effects.
An internal Tails switch also provides a choice of whether the reverb effect fades out naturally or stops immediately when the pedal is switched to bypass. In most settings the pedal is also capable of producing infinite reverb which can be played over with a fresh reverb effect complete with adjustable parameters!

EHX demos are so high-quality. They showcase conventional uses, but put just as much attention towards the whacky and unorthodox. Mike Matthews, I'd like to personally thank you for being a pioneer in the pedal world!

That has been their M.O. since the very-beginning. Mike Matthews and EHX like to push the envelope. Bill Ruppert is also A Beast on Guitar (so he makes everything sound incredible). Just listen to him doing Led Zeppelin's "No Quarter" - its sick.

Cello settings: FX level: 5:00 Time: 8:30 regular, 8:30 secondary, Tone: regular 4:30, secondary 4:30, Reverb setting: DYNA; the secondary setting for “swell” is the one where the LED is GREEN.

I think I'm honestly listening to you play more than I even care for some of the pedals. This pedal will make my 23rd birthday the best ever. Reverb is my favorite effect and this sounds way better than the reverb's on my Katana amp!
Katanas are cool, but the only way you're gonna get these over the top reverb tones is either with a great pedal like this one, or break the bank and get an old Fender twin reverb.
This is my favourite pedal, and I'm a fuzz guy. Bought it for the spring and was blown away by about 4 other settings. Just wow.
This thing bats so far outside of it's price range. I was looking at a Strymon Blue Sky but wanted more variety. The Big sky was just too much drama to work with, the Oceans 11 has a simple, usable interface, and surprisingly, a-b testing in the shop against the Strymon, holds it's own very well. I went with the Oceans 11 and the longer I use it, the happier I am with it =)
I have a Big Sky, and it has a confusing way of accessing all of it. It also belongs in the effects loop instead of i front. I foresee myself buying one of these just because it's so much easier to use. The Big Sky is awesome sounding but I don't like hardware that you have to go take a class on at a community college to operate either.
That Spring tank kick is just awesome! I appreciate that the artwork on this thing is understated, which makes it easier to glance at and read quickly.
The drip on the spring mode is spot on, probably the best I've heard from a stomp box, especially for the price.

EHX has knocked it out the park here with this pedal, love the fact that it has a tremolo built in as well. The Spring Reverb sounds amazing, nice and drippy. I need to pull the trigger on this one for sure

This reverb just sold me. The only thing that's need to be perfect is be stereo. I love it.
stacking that ring mod setting with fuzz might just save me buying an octave fuzz! I didn't realize it would do this.... edit. I didn't realize half of what this can do, and I own one. I need to go home and spend some time with this thing. Thanks EHX! ... I can hold off on buying that walrus slo ;)

Based on my calculations, considering the similarity in design between Oceans 11 and the Canyon, and that there were 20 months between the release of the Canyon and the Grand Canyon, we may be seeing an Oceans 11 Deluxe (or some other name) in a few months. But then again, I could be completely off. Also, EHX, I love this style of pedal that you're going for.
It would have to be Oceans 12, right? :)
I bought a Diamond Tremolo which is overkill for my needs... I'd be just as well to sell it and pick up one of these little guys. Thanks for the video! - update; I did sell the trem and I bought an Oceans 11. I like it!
Just got one. Love it! Lost for hours and hours and hours and...
I only got to page 2 of the manual before I started exploring myself. Need to go back to it if I can prevent myself going off on tangents. The dynamic reverb 'cello' sound is amazing and infinite shimmer kept an arpeggio going til my coffee got cold.
Got the pedal yesterday, so stoked!

Great "Bang-for the Buck" Many different possibilities, in a small footprint. I can see these . . .on alot of pedalboards. The Trem, Flanger, Freeze and Spring all make it worth it (plus) all the other options. Great Value for less then $150.00.
