Get a proper remap, in this car they used a Tuning Box because the BOSCH mg1 ECU on this car Is not yet tuneable
Michel Hadid id much prefer getting a full dyno remap but I’ve got a free years warranty mate so I’m wanting to make the most of that, then once that is up I will be going stage 2 and maybe even stage 3 with a hybrid Turbo.

The RS5 is my favorite Audi model! Very underrated and overlooked.
over looked because its the worst sounding Audi Model.... out of every S and RS model its the worst and RS3 the same performance numbers (in proper weather conditions even tests faster then the RS5). Better off getting a S4 old gen tuning it, old gen RS5 tune it, RS3, RS7 used with 18k+ miles on it for a good buy and tune it, S3 tune it to a stage 2 pop corn machine.... just way better options out there.

The 3.7 run stock was clearly downhill and with the tuning box it was clearly uphill! It makes a huge difference especially when a car weighs as much as the rs5. Great vid as usual though!!

3.73 to 60 is pretty insane for stock, Audi’s quote of 3.9 is actually to 100kph ( 62mph ) so 3.73 sounds about right, plus there was two guys in the car.
Be interested to see if the tuning box makes a difference from 100 to 200

Tuning boxes can be ok for a bit of extra punch for those that don’t want to flash tune. But flash tunes are always stronger, safer and massively more consistent (one of the big issues with tuning boxes).
When this engine has the ECU cracked and the top VAG tuners works their magic, they should see some good numbers..
Still a very heavy car though for that sector..

Its better for the mod/top end. Like it'll be faster 0 to 100 than stock ecu

Having tried one of these style boxes on my mk7 GTD Golf- yes it made a bit more power. However the delivery was rough & ready as they only ever modify the signals to the stock sensors. As such the economy reading becomes false as well

Noice, on my doorstep. I’m a frequent customer of that shell garage. I was thinking of going for a tuning box from TDI as they only down the road but then again Ben from DD is the man for those spicy remaps especially for my 290 Cupra.
The 2.9 TT V6 still sounds a bit tame.
Spot on about exhaust look at the exhaust you get on an i30n and its nearly half price
Great video as always, these are nice with the different levels of power and the fact you can turn them off and on whenever remotely, but some people say the power is gained from tricking sensors that proper custom remaps or a map from Revo etc wouldn't touch. Could be wrong but the figures they quote seem too good to be true for something that's not mapped into your main ECU. They reckon you can get 175 on a 1 litre fiesta using the tuning box, but people only get close to that with a lot of supporting mods. Always love your camera work it's one of the best I see

Great video mate as are the rest of them. I’ll give my 50 pence on the tuning boxes I had a dtuk one on my petrol Audi. It was a great box but as soon as I put a intake and exhaust on the car went weird. Hard boost then sometime it would be shit then limp modes n all sorts. Yeah yeah I know if your going to do other bit you should get it mapped but just a head up for people that don’t want fully standard car apart from a box I would do you bits first then get it mapped cause boxes are configured to a standard car set up.
