- Here is the 2019 Audi RS5 Sportback. Its a beast of a car that i really really like! The Audi RS5 sportback runs a 2.9 V6 twin turbo engine producing 450 ps and a 0-60 time of 3.8 seconds. This Audi RS5 sportback does everything so well, is practical, sounds great, has great acceleration and is a contender for the all in one package of car. Here are 5 reasons why it could be the perfect all round car.

RS5 B8 had a crowngear diff. (Max. 85% rear, with sport diff). Same with the RS5 B9. No Haldex involved.

Great real world review Stef . RS5 is the performance jack of all trades. Prefer looks of the coupe, but 4 doors gives this car everything you could want in a one car garage. Brilliant .

What a coincidence, when I was looking to buy my current car ( A45 amg facelift ) i run into this guy's channel and watched his A45 video's, now im looking to buy a 2019 RS5 sportsback, and here you are again 😆
This car's differential is Torsen, not Haldex

all quattro Audi's with longitudal engines, like A4, A5, A6, etc.etc. have a central torsen differential.
And all quattro Audi's with a transversal engine, like A3, Q3, TT, don't have a torsen diff.
they have the Haldex-clutch, located just before the rear axle.
Sow that RS5 is torsen not haldex like you mention in the video

Great video and a fair assessment. I have the Coupe Sport Edition which I prefer over the sportback. Daytona Grey metallic is THE colour for these cars, not Nardo grey. My previous car was a Giulia QV. The Audi is a supior product.
Everyone has their own opinion on color. I had a 2018 S5 in the Daytona grey, and loved it. I now have a 2021 RS5 in Nardo, and can’t stop looking at it. ...Both great colors, but my top pick is Nardo. To each their own though.👍🏼😊

Cars for me now, as I'm well over the wrong side of 50, have to have a few definite wants.

Has to have performance.
Has to be 4wd drive now*. I can't be arsed with all this tail out crap any more.
Has to look good. And if looking good makes it look a bit of a "Q car", then the better it is.
But it also has to be comfortable. I'm now fed up with the filling loosening comfort that some cars have. I want to be able to drive for 3 hours and get out feeling refreshed. Not staggering out holding an aching back.
This RS5 probably ticks all the "wants" I'd need. But it's like a lot of car videos I watch. What ever I've viewing (Providing it's a good car with all the above firmly ticked!), I want that car. Like I wanted the M5 you drove last year. And later, it'll probably be an RS7, or whatever. But I need the finances for it, so if ever the golden finger pointed down at me and I hit the jackpot, then I'll have loads of fun testing loads of cars from different car manufacturers :-))...

Dear Stef!! You know how much I love Alfa! But I was owning of Audi A4 3.0.
Quality built of interior.. Audi is the best. Much more than my current Mercedes or my previous BMW. Reliability of Engine .. medium.
Exterior this version is very Nice.
Much more than Mercedes Amg or the Last 3 Serie (we will see the M3), but Giulia is beautiful for Me.
Understeering yes there is and is easy to manage. Not the best performance but as you say everybody can do it. Zero to 60. Mega fast. After 60 mph Alfa is faster do to less weight. Emotion... Not bad but less than Bmw Mercedes and Alfa.
Price? In Italy RS4 is more expensive of Alfa and Bmw.
It is not on top of my list but for sure is a very very good car as You say !!

The problem with Audi, even the RS version, they are good cars, but not fun cars. They are too serious, and there is a lack of passion.
May be they are perfect cars for serious people, but not for people who like something more fun to drive.

Diesel will be for the S5 not the RS5 I hope
The facelift is available now as of yesterday on the Audi website for configuration. It’s petrol. I’m ordering a new one. Pray for me

This uses a torsen diff...haldex is on the crappy models that are front wheel bias
