@@botandrew1 Yeah. I tried for ages to make the Lotus Elise GT1 stable. I finally got the right setup and its cornering puts everything to shame. Stopped playing all racing games other than trackmania to focus on my training for the next nascar pro series. Came back to play forza months later and smashing LB times with high consistency and little to no mistakes in my racing. What happened? I learned 2 things: A: I learned to force myself wide and use all the road available and judge the appropriate line to use for each corner B: I turned my brain off because I think too much, once I focused on what I know rather than unnecessary things, I simply got faster and more consistent. As a bonus I finally learned how to focus but using it literally trashes my mind and wears me out quickly. I can go extremely fast in bursts but if I keep pushing it (even though I loved doing endurance races of 3 hours or more in length which I've done for decades now) it will cost me dearly. From this I fully understood what people meant when they say you can only focus for a short amount of time before your peak starts to drop off harshly and it takes me hours to recover if I over use it :( Just some interesting things that I've noticed that have made me faster and trackmania doesn't really play like a lot of other racing games. There are many different racing styles in Trackmania and since I like consistency and sim racing I stuck with the nascar tracks. Developing my skills there then returning to actual sim/sim styled racing games (forza is not a sim, I know this but it's sim "styled." I much prefer iRacing but I'm too lazy to use my wheel most of the time so I just played forza but not anymore) was eye opening just how much improving elsewhere can improve your gaming in a similar field.
Fat ford42 same when I was like 9 I was playing grand turismo 5 and got in an f1 car put all the gears to acceleration and kept wondering why it only went 16 mph
Fat ford42 same When I was like 7, I was playing NASCAR 08 and found the "car setup" menu. I made 1st and 2nd really long and 3rd and 4th really short when I should have been doing more of the opposite.
I don't like weird builds because I'm a masochistic, I like it because I like experimentation. One thing I've found experimenting is that muscle cars are fantastic off road in forza horizon. Provided you add awd. They're higher than super cars ground clearance give them the edge in water over those cars. And their aerodynamic shape gives them a higher top speed than most SUVs. The better engine placement also puts them ahead of traditional rally cars.
I played all my life racing games till Last 3 years, I bought a Logitech g27 and im having very much fun, but on keyboard im the Jesus of the racing games.
The weird spike-in-skill-after-not-playing happened to me with FH4. When I first picked up the game, I was so genuinely awful I couldn't play. I was outright incapable of doing what the game asked of me. I picked it up again a few months later, and boom. I was bad, but good enough to play and improve. Now I fit in to the upper-bad to lower-mediocre skill bracket. I don't use assists, for what that's worth.
I remenber when i was 7 8 9 that i only had my computer to play racing game but my brother would allways play on the arrow keys to control the car and x ro acelerate because of that i had to play on the number like 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and each number had it purpose but also i would control the car with only one hand but i was really young so i was not that good but i would win the games that i would play would be like games from the nintendo consoles because i only had the emulators and a wii with need for speed undercover good times

I've made a supercar really build and won several times. It's so ridiculous but it actually looks pretty good. Somehow everything fell together so perfectly it just works
Yea, I dont do all these things, because currently, I dont play many racing games, but things that are in these games I play I do, so Im pro in them too. Nice video! ;)
Im just not interested in racing games anymore. I moved on to shooters. What happened to the games like forza horizon 1,where it truly captured the festival scene. Or burnout. Even nfs.
Every modern game in every genre got fucked by loot boxes. Racing, FPS, MMORPG, there's no escape, and I'm so freaking upset. I'll keep playing older games or indie games and hope someday the Triple A developers will stop being such cash grabbing hoes.
Bladed Angel Yep. It's as if "Loot-Boxes" are a must-to-add today. Even worse, Some people defended it to death with genius statements of "It's a Video-Game, Of course *you'll grind to death, Couch Potato!"* - Their intent to _"provide themselves with a sense of pride and accomplishment"_ might have been _accomplished_ with their Money-whoring _pride._ Judging with the recent SW:BattleFront 2017 and NetNeutrality controversy, It seems that this is the year where The evil has crossed the _holy_ line everyone shouldn't cross.

6. Use manual transmissiom
Transmission
i only use manual on rally and race sim games but need for speed i just go auto as its more of a fun game rather than serious. on grid autosport i turn everything off even the hud.
with keyboard.
Zan, I do that, manual w/ clutch on a keyboard. Masochism intensifies
Stopped playing all racing games other than trackmania to focus on my training for the next nascar pro series. Came back to play forza months later and smashing LB times with high consistency and little to no mistakes in my racing. What happened? I learned 2 things:
A: I learned to force myself wide and use all the road available and judge the appropriate line to use for each corner
B: I turned my brain off because I think too much, once I focused on what I know rather than unnecessary things, I simply got faster and more consistent.
As a bonus I finally learned how to focus but using it literally trashes my mind and wears me out quickly. I can go extremely fast in bursts but if I keep pushing it (even though I loved doing endurance races of 3 hours or more in length which I've done for decades now) it will cost me dearly. From this I fully understood what people meant when they say you can only focus for a short amount of time before your peak starts to drop off harshly and it takes me hours to recover if I over use it :(
Just some interesting things that I've noticed that have made me faster and trackmania doesn't really play like a lot of other racing games.
Do 5 signs you're an average racing game player...
you own a racing game play on normal and usually get 3rd to second
G.T. how the fuck can you get 2nd or 3rd when racing in NORMAL mode ?!
Point 4- that’s why I love the crew so much, always finding new areas and driving roads. Shame the game had died like it did
is it good that i always use a keyboard for my racing games/sim etc and win lots of races?
Remarkable I'd say.
So i am not the only person offroading in a Lamborghini
TheGoldenL I do it in a Mini

Fat ford42 same when I was like 9 I was playing grand turismo 5 and got in an f1 car put all the gears to acceleration and kept wondering why it only went 16 mph
gt5s visual damage was cool
Fat ford42 same
When I was like 7, I was playing NASCAR 08 and found the "car setup" menu. I made 1st and 2nd really long and 3rd and 4th really short when I should have been doing more of the opposite.
Yeah! Me too, in lfs!
i used to drag the shit outta my gears, i always went for top speed
Idk man but I played a racing game and I automatically get good for some reason.

Me who plays with an automatic because it's one less thing I have to keep track of: *._.*
5 things only racing game elitists say
I can already feel the Assetto Corsa fans breathing down my neck just reading this comment...XD
Dodge Dart is way overrated.
Vivek Anand no manual this game sucks 8===D
" you play arcade racing games on manual? i bet you feel like a big boy dontcha? "
i typed this with my middle fingers because it made me angry
i play Auto too, i just can't focus on my racing line and shift up or down at the same time
I played all my life racing games till
Last 3 years, I bought a Logitech g27 and im having very much fun, but on keyboard im the Jesus of the racing games.
Right?! Keyboard is so much easier
I don't use assists, for what that's worth.
so that's why everyone else prefers keyboard and mouse but I prefer controller because I play racing games
Why would you play racing games with controllers? Just get a wheel

People playing keyboard like me: Its a challenge?!
A real racing game pro doesn’t need signs to know if they are, when they already know they really are.
But some racing game pro does
Edit: im a noob that’s why I need to watch this
Upvote for Konosuba but everyone knows megumin is the best

I've made a supercar really build and won several times. It's so ridiculous but it actually looks pretty good. Somehow everything fell together so perfectly it just works

Kelly's E92 M3 but yes
Yea, I dont do all these things, because currently, I dont play many racing games, but things that are in these games I play I do, so Im pro in them too. Nice video! ;)
Im just not interested in racing games anymore. I moved on to shooters. What happened to the games like forza horizon 1,where it truly captured the festival scene. Or burnout. Even nfs.
what happened to shooters when they didnt have all this bullshit they have now... like loot boxes
Every modern game in every genre got fucked by loot boxes. Racing, FPS, MMORPG, there's no escape, and I'm so freaking upset. I'll keep playing older games or indie games and hope someday the Triple A developers will stop being such cash grabbing hoes.
Not much we can do about it. Just try having fun. And GTA Online is great example of how to fuck up a great game with payments ☹
Bladed Angel
Yep. It's as if "Loot-Boxes" are a must-to-add today. Even worse, Some people defended it to death with genius statements of "It's a Video-Game, Of course *you'll grind to death, Couch Potato!"*
- Their intent to _"provide themselves with a sense of pride and accomplishment"_ might have been _accomplished_ with their Money-whoring _pride._
Judging with the recent SW:BattleFront 2017 and NetNeutrality controversy, It seems that this is the year where The evil has crossed the _holy_ line everyone shouldn't cross.
i don't mind grinding in a game as long as it's actually fun.
The koenigsegg one 1 it's probably the best track car in the game
Broncoman 9 World*
No
It's not at all the best track car in the world...
anyone else feeling like fh4's map is intentionally confusing
I LOVE RACING I AM A SPEEDHUNTER !
When you know your a pro after the video!
I quit playing f1 games and now I’m really good at it
Is eurobeat a sort of music? I just dont get the reference someone please elaborate
There's a number of radio station Selections in the Forza game. Eurobeat is one of the names of the radio stations in the game that you can listen to
@@CHRISatYT01 No, wtf
Watch Initial D First Stage, it's a show.
@@CHRISatYT01 Ur actually gay
Yes, it's a music genre that got popularised by an anime called Initial D which is based around Japanese Street racing
