Carweirdo3 A Random Dude hello fellow asphalt 8er
You have great taste in masochists
Favorite Sadist: Maika from Blend S
Favorite Masochist: Darkness From Konosuba.
Imagine these two in the same anime. 50 Shades of Darkness.

With a keyboard
That so true
You know you're a pro when you can drift without eurobeat
then thats not drifting if theres no eurobeat

Fuck eurobear :v
I must be the odd one, I have a classic rock playlist all the way
Brown Gumshoe how dare you? Eurobeat makes a drift
“When you use a keyboard”
Grandma Driving: Allow me to introduce myself
That guy is killer with a keyboard 😂
I actually feather the keyboard so much some keys are kinda bent and dont work well, i still rule people with the keyboard tho
Keyboard honestly isn't that bad if you're used to it, but a controller is definitely more ideal
me : *still driving in WASD

I don’t think anyone has memorized the ”The Crew 2” map yet
I barely know Miami and I have 300+ hours in the game lol

@@goomba0072
Depends on the MC and how you dodge it
Anime Hunter it is possible, just make sure that someone gets hit by it when they’re within the path of the said shell
Not bumping into anything in Mario Kart and winning? I had a best of 7 or 8 hits
Yes. Wait for it to be launched, it only does it once to twice, and THEN win... thats how I do it in MK8! (WiiU)

Forza Horizon 3 is a very okay-ish arcade racing game, absolutely not worth its price lol

I struggled with undercover...
A decade ago, now its bloody walk in the park
I got undercover on my PC recently and jeez are the UI controls weird af.
OMG in Gran Turismo I used to Maximize every car I owned, and I thought I was a pro 😂
You could get away with it with AWD cars in the first 2 installments but everything else you had to tune to be able to compete. Gets boring driving the best cars in the game after a while so delving into complex tuning to make the cars as good if not better than the best cars in the game is quite satisfying.
@@botandrew1 In GT2 especially, problems with oversteer? Make it understeer just enough so it can take the corners without oversteering. Also, don't set the ride height too low or the car will bottom out.
@@botandrew1 Yeah. I tried for ages to make the Lotus Elise GT1 stable. I finally got the right setup and its cornering puts everything to shame. What it lacks in pure raw power (over 600 is still very good), it's handling more than makes up for it. I then applied similar setups to other cars and aside from the Escudo (the best car in the game), the TVR Speed 12 is probably the only thing that compares to it (I never got the FTO LM but from what I heard, it's insanely good). What it falls short in handling to the GT1 is made up for in sheer power. I also try to make Front Wheel Drive and heavy All Wheel Drive cars oversteer to counter the understeer.
In gt6 I made a 800hp r32
@@ShiningJudgment666in gt1 and gt2 cars dont have undertrays. So no problem with bottoming out.

but a gamer keyboard is more expensive than a stock ps4/xbox... no offense btw
Bruh it costs just twice the price of a keyboard you can grind and get one quick

Hey! Even I left racing games and went off exploring the other genres for a long while. When I returned back, it turned out that I got better than most of my friends (even those who played only racing games).

You're only a pro when you dont have crazy wraps done on your car
Except when you use irl racing liveries as a wrap

I've always been using keyboard my whole life playing any game

I have an idea for a video, 5 stupid things we do in games that we don't dare to do in real life

Who am i? Im pro pilot pro driver just wtf
All of them first person btw
Its the worst when they dont let you race
lmao asphalt in a nutshell
I’ve been progressively getting faster on the Nurburgring in GT Sport. I went from getting 6:54s to getting a 6:36. However that’s the fastest I can do so far with the A90 supra Gr.3.
I play a simulator and drift every stock version of every car.
FWD hatchback? Drifted.
RWD muscle? Drifted.
A van? Drifted.
Resume of the video: Can do a lap in Nordschleife without getting killed by a guardrail
byGiNeSiToX Bananas, *can do a lap on Nordschleife below 7 minutes* -literally sting level driving skills required
With which car? Some cars easily pass the 7 minute mark.
yeet
True tho
Shift 2 Unleashed: Lap time on Nordschleife: 6:12:385 car: Works converted Gallardo.
i play on keyboard cuz i dont hav a choice, all this time i thought playing on keyboard make u the weakest type of video game racer but now i feel like takumi
TRO LINU keyboard is fun , steering is taking a lot of space
If I have the budget to, I will rather a wheel because when I'm using keyboard, the movement of my car feels like it's very tight, like, no room to breath.
the type of controls you use is only a fraction of your result. the rest is your skills. it's obvious that a novice with a wheel is no match to a pro with a keyboard
TRO LINU hey the same. But i cant get off from tc and abs. Still learning
Ha21nagamas 3 only use TCS and ABS on newer model cars , old cars rely on your skills
Example : Ford Sierra RS
Video: “Even at max settings the AI still can’t keep up with you”
Me: “laughs in dirt rally”
4:42 Ive gotten so used to playing with keyboard I think im now a pro......I don't have any controllers.......or wheels.....

i stopped playing halo for about 3 years, i used to suck at it. played halo reach again out of boredom and kept topping leaderboards against like mythic level players
i stopped playing halo after odst

I started with the NFS:MW remake right when it came out, and played it for years. The first thing I ever learned was how to get really close to traffic and use traffic to my advantage.
Some world record level trackmania players use the keyboard exclusively because certain tracks require very fast switching from turning one way at full steer to turning the other way at full steer.
In GTA Online, I always go off-road with the Coil Cyclone.
I also use the keyboard.
In gta supercars on offroad or even dirt roads are awful cause they bounce a lot and spin out easily.
But gta is not a racing game.
i am the keyboard guy...
I recomend buying dualschock 3 controller for about 15 eur, so much better than keyboard
Same here
Madlad
Same i also play with keyboard

Another thing about tuning, buying all the fastest parts may not always be the be the best because of how hard a setup may be to control. For example, driving a 1000 horsepower rwd hypercar on a rally circuit.
Same whenever I stop playing any games and go back to it I magicly get a lot better
In Forza Horizon 1 i won the last race with a Pegueot 205
I won with a Fiat 500
I won with a Volkswagen beetle, upgraded a bit, but the race was so long and I failed lots of tries

Funny story: in June, in Forza Horizon 3, i built a pagani zonda Cinque roadster rally car. And it beat my friends audi quattro rally car in a rally on switchback trail
I know that trail. Same one where I beat many rally cars online with my RWD Ferrari 458 built in the style of a Lancia Stratos.
yeah, it's an 80s Gr. B rally car vs. a modern day supercar. what'd ya' expect?
Mazder_ For the AWD rally car to be more suited to a dirt trail full of hairpins than a low, rwd supercar...
With the way horizon works the supercars are actually faster on a dirt trail than an actual rally car
Subi_fan good point
6. Drifting at every corner.
7. Not using driving line options.
8. *_"KANSEI DORIFTO!?"_*
9. Easing up on the throttle in races because you know you will win anyways.
10. Not being Shingo.
I really struggled with the last 2 off-road races in NFS payback so I stopped playing for a year and when I came back I competed them first try
Tuning, Wierd Builds, Keyboard player and Mustang driver...
Cool ive got some prosigns
I never even played with anything else then keybord:D
The Medic same lol, corsair k70 rgb rapidfire is the best steering wheel/ totally not a keyboard
The Medic i can only tune for drifting. Maybe i watch too much initial D...
keyboard isn’t available for xbox
Emperor McCarthy Horizon 3 is playable on pc
Turn all off assists, and listen to Eurobeat.
I still play on easy and i been playing racing ages since I was 5 and Im 19!
No music at all+ no assist= Unicum
When i was a kid i played a couple racing games. Modnation, little big planet, trackmania, and a couple need for speeds and grid autosport. The only actual sim i tried as a kid was the original r factor but that was when my dad let me try the demo he had and i didnt know what i was doing. Flashforward like 10 years later. I have a lot more experience in video games (big chad energy, i know), but i also have a lot of experience driving now going to school everyday and living more on my own. So when i go back to play racing games again, my knowlege of cars in general is much improved as well as my ability to play a video game, so i actually understand that cars dont stop on a dime, what body roll is, gear changes, all that. Even if its an arcade racer like paradise city i can understand what the cars are doing and what influence i have over my own, as apposed to the younger me looking at it as only a video game and not getting why the car didnt go where i wanted
I've made a supercar really build and won several times. It's so ridiculous but it actually looks pretty good. Somehow everything fell together so perfectly it just works
In forza motorsport 4 i tuned and maxed a camaro to the point that it runs the mile at 213 miles per hour
noice 1
G.T. my bad i forgot that it went 228 mph. It beat a stock bugatti
time?
Red Toaster idk i only remember speed it been a while. Since i played
What kind of camaro and what year is it are the only important things that ask.
2:56 +150 Shingo points
in response to taking a hiatus from racing games, i give you GT 4 S class license final exam. 1 lap on the Nurburgring Nordschliffe. Took 5-8 years away from the game. Couldn't even get bronze. Got the game again a couple years ago, and first attempt scored silver. I must say I shocked myself.
I enjoy playing a mobile game called pixel car racer and that game taught me what tuning really is. I now make tunes for my friends and I like tuning cars on other games too
For some reason, I actually got worse after not playing racing games for a few years. I remember beating NFS Most Wanted when I was 7 and now when playing through again, I’m stuck on Blacklist 3...
im better with keyboard than a controller
when ever i play a racing game on xbox i manage to crush into every single car, sign, tree etc whatever gets in my way (even if it's not in my way) but then play the exact same game on pc and instantly become a pro and win every race without crashing
same, dude. I tried really hard to get used to gamepads, to no avail. using a gamepad I feel like a drunk - all movements are inaccurate and ill-timed. in the end, I tired of seeing myself driving so shitty while I know I'll do so much better on keyboard
SAMEEEEEE
Sounds like you don’t play many console games....
Yea, I dont do all these things, because currently, I dont play many racing games, but things that are in these games I play I do, so Im pro in them too. Nice video! ;)
I played many Need for Speed games on keyboard for many years. Not because I'm a masochist, but because I didn't know how to use a gamepad/controller or a wheel, because I never owned one. I finally own both but I still play keyboard sometimes.
For a few years I haven't played the racing games in the arcade but before I was a noob at it and bump into everything but now not only that I don't bump into literally everything I can drift.😄🎉
HᎯPPᎽ FLᎾᎯᏆINᎶ BUBBLEЅ Get a wheel and drift on... *_ASSETTO_*

oh i know and if there aint a mk3 supra i will have some words to say to mr.Angel over here

Back when Forza 4 Xbox 360 was a new game, I took the Ford Pinto and basically modified it into a 5.0 pushrod V8 monster, basically a Pinto-Shaped race car just for laughs, I dubbed it Little Crazy Horse...
The most popular club challenge we ran was called the Gutless Wonder Challenge, it was a race of “F” class vehicles, ideally limited to the automatic transmission option (as it comprises performance the most) on an UPHILL race up Fujimi Kaido section B (the twistiest, most technical part)
you know your gonna have a good time when you join an online race and everyones drifting in AE86's and Ford Transits
I got better after a few months of watching initial d
Same lmao
With Eurobeat: 1st place
Without Euro beat: over 9000th place.
that technically means were behind the pack.
I know a full eurobeat playlist with like 30+ songs
I legit do feel better when I take a break for a month or so in racing
For Forza Horizon I recommend building a Jelly car. Some cars tend to fall over, if you give them as much grip as possible, while having the suspension liftet, but also as soft as possible.
I became a car enthusiast a year ago... Since than I know better how driving and cars themselves work so I magically, I became a racing game pro...
Chris 5112003 same to me
I went from roblox vehicle simulator to assetto corsa with a wheel and no assists + tuning knowledge real quick after watching initial D
I remember using a stock Porsche Cayman as a rally car in FH3 against "unbeatable" opponents. Who do you think won?
DD dorsett Let's not forget the physics, too.
that Honda civic 2 cars to your left.
DD dorsett maybe because the people the drivatars represent suck... Coming from a guy who has .5-1% leaderboard spots for a large portion of races in the horizon games and the older Motorsport games.
Unbeatable drivatars were kind of easy upon FH3 release and have been beefed up since then. Now they can be pretty op
When I stopped playing racing video games for a long while, and then when I got my new Xbox after Christmas, I started to ride, mxgp, and nascar heat 5 again, I got better than the last time on my old console. So yeah, I am very happy about it.
I quite racing games for years and I did not get better when I went back in, but I improved a lot faster than when I first started playing them
When I was 5, I accedentaly made my gears super stort. Lol
Fat ford42 same when I was like 9 I was playing grand turismo 5 and got in an f1 car put all the gears to acceleration and kept wondering why it only went 16 mph
gt5s visual damage was cool
Fat ford42 same
When I was like 7, I was playing NASCAR 08 and found the "car setup" menu. I made 1st and 2nd really long and 3rd and 4th really short when I should have been doing more of the opposite.
Yeah! Me too, in lfs!
i used to drag the shit outta my gears, i always went for top speed
Do 5 signs you're an average racing game player...
you own a racing game play on normal and usually get 3rd to second
G.T. how the fuck can you get 2nd or 3rd when racing in NORMAL mode ?!
This is actually a crazy story I used to be the biggest car game player back when early Gran turismos and Need for Speeds, played crazy amount of initial D at the arcade. I used to be so good I would be beat people drifting while they were racing in the Gran Turismo 3. I joined the Airforce (15 years ago) and had some crazy health issues(noncombat, neurological issues). I got back home I could not even do the simplest thing, I was last in all the races and could not do any drifts at all. I would actually use racing games as part of my recover and build cognition. Just recently I got a first in newer Forza Horizon and more importantly got my CNA (certified nursing assistant) certificate. I am now working at a local hospital as a patient care technician. In a strange way racing games help a lot in this recovery.
funny that I come back to this video now, since I've been playing Most Wanted '05 on PC (with a keyboard) for the past few weeks, and I'm at the point where I'm using mods to take on Chirons and Huayras in a 190E with max traffic and pursuits consisting solely of police SUVs

Happened to me when I used to play NFS Most Wanted.
Edit:

But that's how I've been playing them all along.
Same
one of my habits is tune the car as much as I can make it seemed to one that I've seen in real life, also, try to drifting in every corner XD
Panfilo Johnson I prefer to build cars I've seen in movies and try to drive comparable to the characters skill my self for example like a Toyota AE86 and drift that or an eg6 and do a mountain ish track with only one hand on the wheel
Ive been playing racing games on my keyboard ever since I started gaming... Never had enough money to buy steering wheels and stuff... I always play in manual with the clutch and it's awesome.
Point 4- that’s why I love the crew so much, always finding new areas and driving roads. Shame the game had died like it did
6. Use manual transmissiom
Transmission
i only use manual on rally and race sim games but need for speed i just go auto as its more of a fun game rather than serious. on grid autosport i turn everything off even the hud.
with keyboard.
Zan, I do that, manual w/ clutch on a keyboard. Masochism intensifies
I quit playing fpses for a little over a year, and when I started again I went from being good to being a god. It feels like I have autoaim or something, oftentimes I will kill several enemies before I consciously register someone is there. It feels like cheating because I don't feel like I've earned these skills.
It sucks because I don't even particularly like fpses, I really like racing games, but I'm not that good at them.
here’s what i do, call me weird if u want;
if a car comes with a stick shift (such as a focus rs) then when i play a race or drive with that car, u use manny w/ clutch. if a car comes with an auto tranny or paddle shifters so something along those lines, i turn off clutch. i dunno it just adds a new fun to it
I remember using a Pikes Peak something or other in Gran Turismo 3, fully loaded, fully worked, 1300hp or something, on a tight and twisty Hawaiian rally track. I couldnt control it, and ran the race virtually against the wall just to get around the corners, and it was so fast, i still won

5 things only racing game elitists say
I can already feel the Assetto Corsa fans breathing down my neck just reading this comment...XD
Dodge Dart is way overrated.
Vivek Anand no manual this game sucks 8===D
" you play arcade racing games on manual? i bet you feel like a big boy dontcha? "
i typed this with my middle fingers because it made me angry
i play Auto too, i just can't focus on my racing line and shift up or down at the same time
It wasnt really quitting a game but rather changing my controls from wheel to controller, when I got a new wheel I still had almost all my skill but was a bit rusty. Also the Hoonigan Ford Focus RS RX is probably the most fun car with controller
The weird spike-in-skill-after-not-playing happened to me with FH4. When I first picked up the game, I was so genuinely awful I couldn't play. I was outright incapable of doing what the game asked of me. I picked it up again a few months later, and boom. I was bad, but good enough to play and improve. Now I fit in to the upper-bad to lower-mediocre skill bracket. I don't use assists, for what that's worth.
