The children will be more messed up without both parents. At least he will not abuse them-because he knows what will happen if he does go that route. If he gets counseling, the children get counseling, they can move forward peacefully.

There is another video that was live outside the court room and they were saying 15years for each count of child abuse and there are 3 counts but she she can probably get it reduced

The Court does not even realize SHE and KEVIN withheld food from kids 5 years ago. Brian Schnee said she was with Jodi for the last 3 years. Eve is 10 so that means when Eve was 5 on video she was withholding food regularly as punishment on her 8 passengers. They are throwing Jodi under the bus for starving kids which she did BEFORE Jodi. There was a petition to stop her years ago BEFORE Jodi. How convenient for her Jodi came along. This is plea is sickening.
There was video evidence on the channel where Ruby herself said her kid was responsible for making her lunch at six, and since the kid didn’t she hoped no one gave her lunch
Bonnie laid the forefront with her videos of throwing Jody under the bus, this was planned and executed to make her seem more like a victim as well. They set the ground to and her plea to hopefully get less punishment. Ultimately SHE was the parent in CHARGE and she let another person influence her over her children. Couldn't happen if she didn't have it in her heart already. Her sisters and parents sitting there proves it. SICK people. If the Judge lets her off easy, this was covered up in ways, NO VOICE for those kids. I am praying that part of doing the plea was to spare her kids for having to testify, they were already blaming themselves and them in front of a jury would be devastating. I just pray Their rights prevail more than her guilty plea.
Guardian ad litem will advocate for the children at sentencing. Just because she took a plea deal doesn’t mean she won’t get a significant sentence and there’s no way she’ll get custody of the kiddos again.
They have been getting "counselling" from Jodi for a lot longer than 3 years. At least 6-7. They just started to _collaborate_ with Jodi 3 years ago.
So far Kevin is getting custody of the kids and not going to prison for abuse that was done while he was in residence.
She's getting off way too easy. Horrendous excuse for a human and a mother!
It will be interesting to see how much time she gets. The sentence is to run consecutively and not concurrently which means more time. I guess we will all have to wait until February.

I noticed how she kept closing her eyes when she said guilty and it would be interesting to have a person who reads body language read into that. It could mean she can’t stand saying the word guilty because deep down she doesn’t think or want to know she’s guilty and was forcing the words out.
Or she’s ashamed of herself and it hurts having to acknowledge her guilt out loud to other people. It’s awful for narcissists to be seen for who they really are

Body language analysis is not accurate. Everyone's body language is unique, you can't fully predict what a person is feeling by looking at them.

I do believe that this is letting her off relatively easy, but at least she won't have any chance to serve the sentences concurrently. I hope that she isn't allowed out before the youngest is legally an adult, so, 10 years minimum.

@@dyawr its not. I was surprised when they said consecutive. They could have just took it to trial but there must be a reason why they offered her a plea, unless her lawyers told her that if it goes to trial, you could get this amount but if you plead guilty now and avoid a trial, we could possibly get some leniency. B felony child abuse in Utah is 1 to 15. and or a 10k fine but the judge made no qualms that prison time is in the mix. this whole situation makes me sad for all involved

I'm so glad she was caught before her actions ended the life of one of her children. Smothering, holding their head under water, not getting medical attention for muscle deep wounds... just to name a few ways she may have done it. Rot in prison, Ruby-doo.

As far as I can tell the max she could get is 60 years.(15 year max for each felony to run consecutive) The min is just 4years.(1 year mininum for 2nd degree agg. child abuse.) because part of the plea was the sentences must run consecutively. Hopefully he gives her 60 years.
No max in Utah is 30. So 4 to 30 years depending on what judge decides in Feb

They are there to support her, not the children that were actually neglected and abused. As part of her plea deal, she wrote letters of apology to all of her siblings and parents stating that Jodi made her do all of those things. That she was under Jodi's influence. Her parents and her siblings believe her. Are desperate to have their Ruby back. It is absolutely disgusting. Ruby and Kevin abused their children before Jodi ever came into the picture. Anyone can write to the judge so that he knows the whole story and all of it will be taken into consideration when it comes to the sentencing.

The system appears to be moving decently in this case. Hope the punishment will fit the crime, which was heinous-- her son and daughter might well have died if he had not acted. Them showing up is legally required, some of her family has to be there for the hearing. It does not mean they support her actions or that they want her to serve less time. This is also very difficult for them.

I think I saw her parents and one of her sisters at the end of the video sitting behind her. Besides the sister was another guy. That might have been her brother, but I am not sure, because he is not on social media like his siblings and their families.
Seems to me, even her attorney can't stand her. Seems like he really didn't put up much of a defense of her, or put up much of an defense on her part, mostly just agreeing with the judge and the court. He just wants to be done with her.

The woman who has been found guilty of starving her 15 year old till death- her sentence will be in several weeks.

@@jennamolini2752 Well, I heard in another vid that each count carries 1-15 years in that state, so that would be 4-60 altogether... But I suspect there is going to be a possibility for parole after a portion of the sentence is served, right?
@@dyawr i heard that as well about the 15 years per child or something and i honestly don’t know about whether or not she’ll get probation after serving a specific amount of time but hopefully she won’t. i don’t even want her to be able to have the opportunity to see her kids again like she looks like she was more frustrated instead of remorseful

What about the parents that use a belt on their kids? When I grew up a lot of parents used the belt on their kids. I feel that is abuse as well.
