Beach Hut Man does not bring me to the beach at all, however bringing me to a cabin surrounded by ferns and greenery. Excellent concept.

This and Memoir have become my favorite Amouage fragrances.
I did a blind buy on this about a year ago. Was my first Amouage too. First impressions? Blew my head off, ha ha... Found it very harsh initially. Fast forward a couple months and it was quickly becoming my most worn fragrance. I love this. Funnily, every time I'm going out to mow the lawns I spray this on. It's funny I know, but when I'm riding around the yard and getting wafts of Beach Hut Man, it just feels so right. That beautiful ivy was what I think held me back initially. But it really grows on you, just like the real thing ;) It's my favorite for spring/summer. And it hangs around all day.
Jubilation XXV is a winter favorite.
Sunshine Man I thought would be more spring/summer but I think I like it best in the cooler weather and it just lasts forever. So you better like the smell because it's not going anywhere anytime soon HA HA
Back to BHM though, fantastic. Love, love, LOVE it!!

Smelled a sample of this obe today was bit sleepy and lazy...woke up emediately me and all my scenses!!!so uplifting..i will try it in warm wheater make sure doesnt choke me inside car(taxidriver) and might found my signature summer scent!!!!!
I really enjoy the stuff. In my top 10 freshies for the mature gent. I do get a slight lavender vibe, but I wouldn't quite class it as a barbershop - more of a correlate. Great springtime choice.
@Mike Jones I much prefer Dia over Silver not only because it's a lot less floral and powdery, but because the smoothness is understated - absolutely not beastmode. The spiciness comes off just right on my skin too. Jubi, Dia, Beach Hut, Reflection, and Overture are my top 5 from the brand, but I'm still working on Beloved. It's gettin' there.
Like a lot of people are saying, this one is beast mode longevity and projection on me. Beach Hut was a grower for me, but I absolutely love it. But yeah, nuclear performance
Excellent review. I had neglected sampling this last spring because I did not want an oceanic salty beach fragrance. Then I ran across it in August at the Scentbar, L.A. and fell in love with it. I am so glad I have a bottle now as we start to get into spring weather now with it a staple of the seasonal rotation.

Dude, its a beautiful fragrance! I oddly get a laundry detergent vibe from it the first few hours, like if the color Teal had a scent - it would be Beach Hut Man. I *LOVE IT!!!* - easily one of my best blind buys

I sampled it long time ago and didn’t buy. However, I did like the scent and how it’s made. To me the name is misunderstood: it does smell like a hut on the beach that we as kids used to build from tree branches and large weeds to shelter from the sun. I do not see the jungle hut but maybe in tropical costal forest? Good longevity and projection too. Galbanum always pops on my skin, so maybe that’s why (I also can not wear Roja Elysium for similar reason).
One of my favorite scents, and lasts a long time in my skin. Nice review.

Loved the sample I got from Lucky Scent of Beach But man. This will be a full bottle for me. It's the only Amouage scent I want to buy so far.
Love Beach Hut, but you gotta go easy on the trigger. Lasts for a very long time. I can still smell it on my shirts even after they've been laundered.

This one has grown on me. For some reason, I also get a banana effect here. I guess its the blend of minty with green. It's unique, I like it.
The opening of this has a jagermeister smell to it on my skin. This is my favorite I’ve tried from the house but still not sure it’s full bottle for me.

For me Beach hut man is strongly Orange sorrounded by Greens like Ivy & Moss, thats what my nose picks up, performence is Nuclear, it was love @ first sniff, picking up a bottle ASAP 😍🔥👍🏻

I just got Beach Hut today and i wanted to ask y'all if you guys smell the same sweet ingredient in the opening? On my skin when it's really hot, the opening is like a sweet mint, i don't know if it's from the orange blossom but there is something sweet alongside the green notes, but for me the sweet note is more proeminent than the mint itself, which i find very strange. After watching all the reviews i expected a very bitter green and cooling scent from the mint, but instead what i get is a very subtle mint note but more a sweet opening. is that just me?

It's a difficult patient, not love at first sight. But it lasts a damn long time, you have to give it that and it smells completely different than the mainstream.

This was my first Amouage and the first spray was so harsh I want sure I would get along with it. It's now one of my most worn spring/summer frags. It's up there with Jubilation XXV, Opus VII as my favorites from Amouage.
Also have Silver Man (I love the scent it just doesn't last long enough), Sunshine Man (again gorgeous), Bracken Man (so nice and spicy) and Fate (somedays I like, others I'm not so sure 😝)
Excellent review and note breakdown as usual. Great unique frag. Green but Amouage rich, layered, not thin and unidimensional. Great composition.

Own the entire Amouage Man collection except Harrods exclusive Overture Man. It's hard, but my top five from highest to lowest are: Beach Hut, Dia, Memoir, Jubilation XXV, and Reflection. Honorable mentions include: Interlude, Beloved, Journey, Lyric, Sunshine, Myths, and Bracken. Amouage just makes masterpieces....

That's a coincidence, just tried my sample today. All I get is a very powerful aftershave, it fits the purpose but not the price point. Now let's watch.
