Holy hell, beach hut man smells so good. One of my female friends that lost her sense of smell from covid even complimented me on it. This fragrance is beast.
Beach Hut Man is one of my favorites from Amouge. It doesn’t usually really get the recognition it deserves but love it. I agree Amouge is a great brand and they create wonderful fragrances! Clean, fresh & dry was a great description.
@@86Raxor I dont think you have to worry about lots of people smelling like Beach Hut..even at discounters if you can find it its still around $ 200..store $ 380..general public shops at Kohl's for their scents..when people ask me around the office what is the amazing cologne Im wearing, when I say Amouage, no one EVER knows, like ever..most people, if they even wear a scent, they wear either Versace Eros or Dior Sauvage

Got this bottle after some testing. It has become my favorite in my collection. My bottle of creed aventus doesnt even come close to this beautiful scent. It may be to strong to some people but i dont care. I just love it. And aaron. Please put on more amouage reviews. Like maybe journey man, or lyric man. Myths man. Thats the staff uniform.Everyone at the factory including me wares the same uniform. That means that everyone is the same and works as one family. No-one should have to go to work and feel they are 'less' just because they cant afford nice clothes. My first job when I was 17 I had no money and used to ware clothes from charity shops. I remember feeling embarrassed and ashamed. I really believe my journey was for a reason. No-one should have to buy food at work and no-one should have to buy clothes for work. You never know what someone is going through. The people with the least in society never ask.Look at what is happening in USA with Covid and food banks. I always treat everyone the same and assume everyone is struggling. To view the world from the position of love is the basis of everything I do. Love, Compassion, Empathy, non judgement but on the other side of the unicorn is the powerful, protective energy. xx

Great review, as always. Beach Hut Man is the one that actually opened up green fragrances to me. I had never given it a thought because I thought it was more salty aquatic by the name. I stumbled across it one day and tried a sample. It went right onto my list.
Bought it 2 weeks ago, even though it has a low rating on parfumo. Love it for the daytime. The opening is heavy. You should have checked the drydown after 2 hours. Gets very lovely. And the performance is insane.
Always buy for yourself. If you love it then thats amazing .The skill, time and money to put these together is massive. Those sites are filled with people with something to say. Unfortunately a lot of negativity then people loving the art of perfumery. We should be supporting brands and uplifting not trying to damage.
Great review as always. Love when you do the first smell after you have sprayed a perfume, as it is fun to watch your body language, at it nearly always gives away if you initial like it out not.

The ivy note was a little too much for me. I probably would have picked this up if they toned that ivy down a little bit and did slightly more myrrh. Most of the Amouage line I'm happy with the little 2ml carded samples, I don't usually need more than that. They're so unique and interesting, but I haven't found one I would wear regularly.

I love the way that you can not like a fragrance personally but still appreciate it and more or less recommend it to a person who like those notes. You do get the feeling you are getting completely honest opinions and reviews, which are becoming rarer these days.
I understand what goes into perfume development. I understand the cost of raw materials and the time involved. So I always have respect and love for this art form. I always try to think. 'This could be for someone who likes this type of thing'. So I try to describe it in easy to digest language. I always think the more negative noise someone makes about a perfume the less knowledge about the art of perfumery they have.

100% Thats the difference between myself and other reviewers. Before I launched my work I did a lot of testing. I noticed that my work worked better on different skin types. I also noticed that different groups of people like different things. I think there is more the fragrance selection then what we think. I think it has a great deal to do with genetics. Im thinking of doing a Phd into this. As it was so amazing. As a scientist I always like to ask why. Is fragrance choice by genetics or by choice or a mixture and to what %. My work is base heavy as my skin reacts like a darker skin type. Light citrus doesn't work on me at all. Thats why I have so much base heavy work in my range.

Did the test along with you. Beach Hut - very realistic - I was there, down to the rack of fish outside drying in the sun 😬 Heaven knows where I got that! Then again I got base notes of vomit from Zaharoff Signature Rosé. I must have a weird nose.
Aaron, is there a certain ingredient the makes fragrances last longer or project more ? Or is it just that some synthetics or nautural aromas last longer ? Ps: This covid is driving me crazy. I went to Nordstrom’s (with my mask on ) and the Tom Ford counter had tissues they sprayed with perfume and waved it in the air to waft the smell towards me from a distance 😂😂 but be damn right I stayed and smelled all the waft’s I could get lol!!!
Thats crazy. I think that Covid will change the world we live in for a long time to come. Its a very long answer but in short yes. Its all fixatives and musks. They are the expensive bits so thats why perfume that lasts longer tends to be more expensive. But getting the balance right of projection and longevity is the bit that takes the longest in perfume development for me. To give you an idea. It takes me about a week to get he initial ideal down. Then 6-12 months to get it perfect.
Hi Aaron, i would like to know what fragrances you wear during summer. I feel like most pure summer fragrances you review are not really your thing. I could be wrong.

This is a very well described review. This one is very challenging for the regular joe. However like you I say is wonderful, but not for me. Is very Sharp and bold, not afraid to showoff. A green masterpiece, but not for the faint of heart ( haha )
Did you say it's heavy musky based? Is that not supposed to give a fragrance a warmer base? If so then that confuses me as this is supposed to be a fresh, clean fragrance. But secondly, musk isn't listed in the notes :)

I also do not like when green accords are incorporated to fragrances. I do not favor Carlisle for this reason. I have ordered a sample and will rewatch the video. When it arrives.
@@AaronTerenceHughes I actually prefer some of the femme marketed fragrances from Amouage. (As a male) I wear Interlude Woman, Bracken Woman, Beach Hut Woman and even Blossom Love. I did not enjoy sunshine man so I ordered a sample of Sunshine Woman.
Aaron, I have question regarding this Fregrance; I have asthma and once I apply this Fregrance I will have some Bronchial Sensitivity. Do you know why?
Abdullah Talib it’s a fragrance allergen. Read the back of the box and try to work out of any others do this. This house features coumarin quite heavily so it might be that! You might be better going for a more natural based scent!

Love this scent. Completely agree about the mint. The galbanum/ivy combo really pops on my skin. Easily in my top 5 from the brand.

I just tested it and so far I think it develops very solid. Nothing to fall in love instantly but the best Amouage I smelled so far.
Beach Hut got me, today are pretty hot temperatures in the sun, shorts, tshirt, Beach Hut Man is so cooling while in the sun! ☀️

Green to me is the smell of fresh cut leaves. Blue is the smell of ozone, water and the sea. Hope that helps

@@hypnotoads I hope you see that I respect and love perfumery. So its never smashing a brand. If I do a negative review its for a reason. Its either unsafe or its a dupe. Dupes are stealing other perfumers work.

I also do not like when green accords are incorporated to fragrances. I do not favor Carlisle for this reason. I have ordered a sample and will rewatch the video. When it arrives.
I don not like green accords either. But this is an amazing, well crafted formulation.
@@AaronTerenceHughes I actually prefer some of the femme marketed fragrances from Amouage. (As a male) I wear Interlude Woman, Bracken Woman, Beach Hut Woman and even Blossom Love. I did not enjoy sunshine man so I ordered a sample of Sunshine Woman.

Aaron, I have question regarding this Fregrance; I have asthma and once I apply this Fregrance I will have some Bronchial Sensitivity. Do you know why?
Abdullah Talib it’s a fragrance allergen. Read the back of the box and try to work out of any others do this. This house features coumarin quite heavily so it might be that! You might be better going for a more natural based scent!
