Indonesia...but don't be a snob... Indo guitars are the Korean. They can be a bit sketchy with the QC, but are well made. I have two and they're both brilliant!

I was considering buying one. Is there a big difference between the 80s models and ones made today or are they pretty identical sound wise? Made better today or made cheaper?
