Yep, Jersey Star - it's the Ritchie Sambora guitar. His original Les Paul on the early Bon Jovi albums was a three pickup model, so when Kramer built him a guitar, they did it with 3 pickups.

I have one of the original Krammers from late 80's or early 90's. It didn't age well as my father had stopped playing it in 90's and then it was in a garage for about 20 years. The trem system is in terrible state, it doesn't hold in tune, but that neck is the best I have ever felt and it plays so good, also the pickups are really vintage and they sound exactly like 80's rock/metal. I'm really thinking about changing the floyd for new working one. I'm glad to see that Krammer is making some good stuff again.

Intro track was amazing, definitely an homage to the 80's rather than a throwback, still had your sig grind riding gently along.
First time ive commented in a while and I'm sad to be at a point where there is literally nothing to criticise about Liverpool. I'm a Leicester season ticket holder and what I saw on boxing day was the best team we've ever had be dismantled by the best team this country has ever had.
    Astonishingly good.
I hope you go unbeaten just so you can take away the last thing that makes Arsenal special.
Hell, win the treble and go the league unbeaten and be the best team of all time.

I think the only thing missing is a third mini toggle for splitting the neck pickup. HHH, HSH, HSS, SSS, SHS, SSH, etc, are all available. With only two mini toggles, the neck is always a hunbucker, which is a tad strange to me. I could see the mini toggles be for splitting the middle and neck, but bridge and middle? I like the way kramer is being better represented now . I still think that Seymour jbs are way too noisy when they are split . I have a few guitars with jb in them with the splitable option and I never use it because of the hum . I know it's just the way it is , but , damn ............ you would think that there could've been some way to split them and keep them a little less buzzy by now . Maybe one day . Sorry for the rant . Good review though .

I’m kind of surprised you never tried one of the Kramer Assaults considering how much you love les Paul style single cuts

If you remove the neck on this guitar, you will find in neck pocket a few pieces of wood. The neck is shimmed on this guitar. Recently I bought a Kramer Baretta Vintage Candy Blue and it had shimmed neck. I think for that price Kramer could come up with something better

Kramer were always supbar rip-offs of Charvel/Jackson supertrats even back in the day. They didn´t even manufacture their own parts and use to buy necks and other componends from ESP and other companies and just cobble them together.

Wow....that's terrible. I wonder if they are all shimmed? Indonesia made guitars are usually pretty good quality.

What would of been nice is if you would play some Richie Sambora on what he made popular.

Hunter, in my country when you play this guitar, you become a boomer! (yakov smirnoff inspired joke, very 80's)

Check out the Assailt model from Kramer, it's a Les Paul style body with a Floyd Rose & 25.5 inch scale

Thanks for the review Hunter. Honest as usual. Man that opening 80's style track reminded me of Def Leppard and a Phil Collin type solo. Very good and the Eagle sound from Glenn is from his song on his channel. The song is called "The Eagle had Landed". That song has one of the heaviest riffs ever IMHO. Being a teen in the 80's I was not a hair metal dude. I was into punk and thrash. That Kramer is nice but I'd buy just the white classic. Only liked Bon Jovi because most girls I dated were into that stuff. They couldn't relate to Slayer,Venom,Exodus,Metallica, Megadeth,Anthrax,Destruction,VoiVod,Celtic Frost etc. Anyway nice guitar but not my cup of tea. Cheers.🤘👍🎸

Really enjoyed your video. Great to see recognition of such an important era of rock music. Have an off topic question for you. What’s the brand / style number of your glasses. Been trying to fine ones like that with Ray Ban and haven’t been able. Thanks & keep up the great content!

I feel the new Kramer line missed the mark.
    1. Designs should have been each model has a crazy looking variant
    2. quality looks way less than what you are paying for. Looks comparable to a $600 schecter or Ibanez but an 80's aesthetic.
    3. again the price. Over a grand for this? why would anyone consider this over a mim charvel with similar features and hardware for less money?
Just a real let down for me.

So with all those pickup combinations, you can't have a single-coil in the neck position for something like Bed of Roses or Damned?

I wouldn't play it. But thats doesn't mean a thing, I wouldn't play most guitars.
I'd love to hear a band with a guitarist that does this guitar justice!
