Finally! A review with a guitar player that CAN PLAY!!!! 🤘
Keep on rockin´, Nick!! 🎸
The Striker was the cheapest Kramer you could buy in the 80s and it was still a hell of a guitar. I miss my 84 Striker 200ST every day.
i had the 300st. really small fret board.
Also, Nick is my favorite guitar guy. I can relate to the old geezer and appreciate him.
This sounded incredible, but it’s also worth mentioning the rig that it was all run through because the amp was what made this sound the most incredible, IMO.
It’s true, but good amps and sims aren’t all $3000 these days. As for what’s being used in this video it looks like a boss katana unit
I wasn’t suggesting the amp was a huge price tag. I was just curious what was producing such a great amp sound. The guitars are good, not taking away from that at all, but you can hear it’s a quality amp and I was curious about that.
@@johndubchak yea I agree with you. I never go off UA-cam videos for that same reason. Whenever someone is testing out or reviewing a guitar, they never mention the amp. Lmao. 90 percent of the sound/tone is dependent on the amp.😅
As well as the player 😊
@@fredericadda it’s Nick. Was that ever in question?
Never had a Kramer but Hopefully I can get one. I remember watching a tv rerun of EVH having a Kramer to play on stage when I was kid. It was the most epic thing ever to watch! I was and still am inspired to play the guitar because of him. RIP EVH.
RIP
Excellent choice shredding on Looks That Kill on the Kramer! Mick’s choice of ax back then. Nick playing Mick!
Grim Reaper licks played by the one and only Nick Bowcott sold this guitar for me!
The Grim Reaper “Fear no Evil” track is perfect for this guitar almost made to play for it
Thank you Nick and team Sweetwater for this overview for Kramer!!! 🤘👏👏👏👏😎
Awesome video. Nick always does the best demos for gear. Cheers
Love hearing Nick ripping it up! Those pickups sound really good especially for the price point.
Great rendition of Robin Trower on the Both Middle pups Nick. Great demo.
Jacksons and Kramers. Two Nice looking Sweet Birds
Very inspiring and a great video too! Thanks for sharing 🤘
Nick thank you so much for the thorough review. As a fellow lefty I am excited to see that Kramer didn't leave us out on these fine Striker models. Hearing you shred on these guitars only upped my excitement and desire to snag one of these highly affordable 80's hair metal guitars. Count me in on the LH majestic purple !! 👍
Another great demo by Nick. \o/
Wish they gave an option for a reverse headstock.
Well “Shredded” NICK!!!
NICE!!!
🤘🎸⭐️🤘🎸👍🤘🎸👍🤘🎸
Hey, a fellow lefty.
Nice sabbath riff Children of the sea. Ahhh the DIO years
I wish they’d do a reverse hockey stick headstock like they did back in the day, especially on a star
Nick is a lefty legend. Happy to see him still shredding. I've been eyeing the Striker lately, but afraid to pull the trigger as reviews often show poor QC at unboxing. I'm not rich so even $350 is gamble for me if the guitar I receive isn't set up at all, tuners loose, and the strings not aligned correctly which is what I've seen. Can anyone chime in how these guitars have been received lately?
Very nice….you rock Nick.
That wild Ivy is so sick!
I had an original Striker from 1984.
When I got it I had to shim the neck to get the Floyd to float.
Just picked up one and I absolutely love it. Ironically the thin speed neck is actually pretty thick. No where near as thin as my explorer's neck.
Nicely done Nick thanks impressive guitars ,maybe I get a Kramer,I had a Focus 2000 which I should have kept. Anyway these guitars look and sound pretty good thanks man.
I had a Striker back in the day
Nick, love that you played grim reaper in his demo!
Totally! He doesn’t normally! I loved them and they deserve more credit!
I like the green
Now that’s a guitar that you can play Grim Reaper riffs on all day! 😜
I've got an old (1980's) Kramer Striker PJ BASS guitar.
Specs say 43mm nut but also says it's an R2... which is a 1.625" nut (aka 41mm). Which is it? My problem with most Kramer floyd guitars is the narrow neck. Gotta have an R3, thankfully Squier created the Contemporary series just for me!
Fear no eviiiiiiilll!! Nice
Is it possible to buy a left-handed kramer striker for Colombia?
Jumbo frets are very popular nowadays. there was a time they were not an option. Good to see more guitar companies are switching over. Nice
2:14 i have never seen such focus using a floyd rose in such a basic manner
how would u compare those to the ibanez rgs????
Uncle Nick ,🤟🏻✌🏻🎸🎶
been playing Kramers for 30 plus years
How much will they be ?
What are the clean songs?
Just picked one up. Just wish it came set up a bit better. I wish I had spent as much time with dime as you have. I have watched your videos on spending time with him talking for hours. I can hear a lot of your influences in your playing style.
SOLD!!!!
Companies always seem to release finishes in the wrong availability for me. Green with maple and hardtail certainly isn't happening here.
that is not the nanna head stock. it is the later shark fin headstock, fyi.
Nick is cool.
Nick what amp did you use sounds great
Thanx, glad you liked it! I was plugged straight into a Boss Katana 100W Artist combo. Any and all effects (Chorus, Phase, Reverb and Delay) were within the Boss… and the sound was DI’d via the amp's Record Out.
Cheers,
Nick
Can you share the amp settings? I have that amp and would like to match it.
WOW!
Sounds good you old codger.
No extra charge..no plus 10% discrimination anymore lol…looks great,,I still got my old Korean Kramer..so perhaps a new one 😅
😍🤩
What’s the price?
$349 - $399 depending on the configuration
Lefty!!!
It really annoys me being left handed they never make hardtail guitars like this.
You cannot demo clean tones through chorus. It’s a UA-cam law or something. Tsk tsk. 😜🎸🤘🏻
Southpaws rejoice!
What a terrible name for a Collection Striker, I'll pass on those Thank You.
I'll stick with Ibanez RGs.................
You don't like the name Striker?! :D They've had this same name since the past... Sounds metal to me! 🤘
