Just shot my new gx4 today. Bought it yesterday, and I brought my daughter. Put 250 rounds through it and it performed flawless. Clean it up and ready to go. Great 9mm and the price was great 👍. Changed out the smaller back strap for the larger one, which was Cool that Taurus gave two, plus two clips and hard Case.
Bro. That wasn't a little bit. ONE drop per rail then spread out. Not pour out through the rails, that's too much. If you want to continue doing it like you did I recommend using a liquid DRY LUBE.
Generally you’re gonna want to clean your gun before the first time you shoot it, and then every time after you shoot it. Depending on how picky you are, you can go months without cleaning your gun and be fine. It’s just good practice and helps longevity.
Yup He's right... Whenever you purchase a firearm you always want to clean it because they have a certain preservative that's on it and you want to get that off.. Also congratulations on your purchase 🎉🎉
This the first gun I've bought in a long time and so far I love it for many reasons. My question is can I use a high temp lithium grease on the spring mechanism
I am a new gun owner up front. I’m cleaning the gx4 I replace the slide after cleaning without the spring a d barrel and now can’t get the slide off?? Need advise

Lol. This was sloppy.
Should you oil your new gun before you go and start shooting?
New gun owner, just purchased the GX4 tonight. How often should you clean? Should I clean before my first shoot?

I did that to work the slide a bit gyi
But in retrospect I guess I should have replaced all the guts
Pull the trigger and hold it back. Don't feel bad. I did the same thing. And I've cleaned several kinds of handguns.
