I have the same style guitar - had it about 6 years. I put the short scale Rickenbacker strings on it and it holds tune and sounds great through a Vox Mini Superbeetle 👍
Nice looking Rickenbacker guitar. I like the two contrasting jams, (intro and ending) and I like as not expecting that Rick to sound so heavy.

@@FultonStreetBeats well.. took about 3 hours of playing it to pop the "e" string. I have 9's and 10's in bulk so I will have to pick up a set of 12's. Will be interesting, never played with anything larger than 10's

what scale is it? looks like a "mini scale" type...
If memory serves me correctly, the original Rickenbacker 325 had a 20.5” scale length. John Lennon was probably used to such a scale length, coming with his banjo training from his Aunt Mimi.
