Pretty sure the “Can’t see California without Marlon Brando’s eyes” is a line a random homeless dude said to one of the members and it stuck, making its way into the song.
He said it to the singer when he was a young teenager

The current line up for Black veil brides. Vocals Andy Biersack 2006-. Lead Guitarist Jake Pitts 2009-. Rhythm Guitarist, piano, violin jinxx 2009-. Drums Christian coma 2010- (CC) stage name. Bassist Lonny Eagleton 2019-. Lonny replace former bassist Ashley purdy and yes it’s a guy and not a girl. I won’t get into details on why they kicked him out you can do research if you want to. Last thing I’ll say Black Veil Brides are my favorite band, my favorite albums are the first two albums we stitch theses wounds (2010) and set the world on fire (2011) and the (2019) Ep is great as well. You should check out knives and pens music video first, it was the band first single and the old members of black veil brides are in the video, Andy was 16 years old at the time even tho the video was released in 2009. Andy’s hair is naturally blonde but most of time he dyes it black. The first two black veil brides albums are their heaviest, but their fourth album is heavy as well but not my favorite. The second EP The Night is heavy as well.
