@@Way2EasyDIY I totaled it a month after i got it during a really bad snow storm in minnesota. I'm stuck with a shitbox audi a4 now. Keep the eclipse, its an awesome car! Plus it's definitely going to be one of the saught after classics in the future, worth the investment
Eclipse GS was my 1st car after moving to US from Europe. 20 years later I recently bought a V6 Spyder. It is still good to me. While wiping of the dash it cracked like an eggshell. Nice car but shitty plastic.
I just recently bought a 2003 non convertible that's basically the same as the one in the video othere then it being a non convertible and is white instead with 140,000 original miles and is in pretty good condition over all as well. I got it for $2,000 USD. I just had to replace the alternator and battery.
My aunt had one when I was 7 years old years later it was sitting in her driveway I told her if I could have it she gave me it and I rebuilt everything with a red interior and white pearl paint
@@mattiaso.s.3733 it’s pretty good, gas is a bit expensive especially since i live in california but other than that it’s a great car. i’ve only had it for a short amount of time so i can’t say much in terms of reliability but i haven’t come across much problems except for when my front left headlight went out
I dont understand why they decided to stop making these. But i REALLY dont understand why they went from these cool looking front lights to uglier looking lights in later models.

I have the same car has 84,000 miles been stored in the garage for 10 years unfortunately my girlfriend ran into someone for the 4th time so it needs a new front bumper cover but i put a bra on it cant tell,we bought it new in 03 cost 25 grand new
@@C1418OS not the 3rd gen lol. Especially the GTS with the slightly higher compression. Was never a good candidate for forced induction to make real power with the factory bottom-end.
