How to Draw a Shiny Leaf in Colored Pencils

A simple tutorial on how to draw a shiny holly leaf. This technique can basically be applied to any object with shiny surfaces.
Pencils used (all Polychromos):
Ivory
Cream
Cold Grey 2
Juniper Green
Chrome Oxide Green
Deep Cobalt Green
Light Ultramarine
Black
Payne's Grey
May Green
Paper used: Strathmore Bristol Smooth

Beautiful! Would like know if you use any solvent...and how do you preserve your coloured pencil paintings?

Thank you Indrani! I do use a solvent sometimes, depending on the subject and the final outcome I am aiming for. As far as preserving is concerned, colored pencil drawings can simply be framed with glass for longevity or kept carefully between acid-free tissue paper away from light
