The first thing I noticed about this reel is its weight ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxM68VkfsQhHaabDce1IwOCXuvumcpbZ_k . I wouldn't say it was uncomfortable but it was a little heavier than other similarly sized reels. However, that didn't deter my enjoyment of how smooth this reel is. I spooled it with 20lb. Tuf-Line XP and it's perfect for what I use it for. I have it paired with an 8'6" Medium/Fast Okuma SST Salmon/Steelhead rod. The combination is perfect for casting and even drifting. I used the reel all day and didn't experience any arm or hand fatigue except when fighting a few fish! The bail is solid and feels strong when engaging by reeling and manually closing the bail by hand. The large rubber handle grip is very comfortable. It's got a powerful drag, silky smooth reeling, and feels very comfortable in the hands. I recommend it!

This year is the first year they have stocked trout in that pond, they usually stocked them only in Antrim like in Columbus, but not enough were being caught so this year they tried smaller ponds.
I’ve caught a few bass out of Goodale pond and even a decent channel on a chatterbait there.

My back yard! Need to visit prairie oaks while your bag. About 3 or 4 years ago they drained and drudged goodale. Also, ODNR stocked trout in these little community parks the year. Goodale was stocked 4/10/23
I always come back home and miss you by a year. Corazon in Dublin has some 6lb bass and so does Asherton and Campden Lakes. I’m sure even bigger bass lurk, but those are my pb here in the Buckeye State.

DNR has been stocking a lot of those smaller ponds with trout through out the state for kid fishing. That pond might be one.

Just a wee bit further north and you can hit up Wisconsin :p lmao. Chippewa and Eau Claire rivers are quite something to fish.

I basically fish from Columbia area to Gaithersburg. I'm trying to improve my bank fishing, but I just seem to keep BRINGING WAY TOO MUCH STUFF!!! By the way, what stage are the bass in Maryland. I have some swimbaits that resemble gizzard shad for our special pond😮

I fished that pond back in 2018 when I was there on vacation with family and caught some good ones the biggest one was almost 4
pond hopping birds can transplant fish to other ponds by carrying fish eggs on their legs. That is how ponds that have never had fish stocked in them get fish in them.

I got a place in Ohio that has 3-5 pound bass. Real small pond with a couple big ones. But all you need is a small blue gill. Also caught one of the bugs ones on a jerk shad

I've had a little luck at griggs and westgate park for kitties, but the olentangy river has been on fire for me! Caught my PB small mouth at 6lb4oz, man that was a thump I will never forget!
I’ve cast so long and repeatedly that I’ve had stubborn bed hens strike out of frustration and or being territorial, many times they will just strike, not even about eating.
