Tyler great stuff. I fish NW Pa. Pymatuning lake. Just put the first frog fish in the yac April 14 2023. I fish frogs exclusively with the exception of my follow up bait. Like NE Ohio the fish aren't always Texas big but I do get a steady supply of 5-6 #ers with an occasional 7#+ LM. Typically a 4-4 1/2#is a good frog fish. I'll take the quality over quantity with the frogs. One thing that perhaps bears mentioning is sharpening the hooks out of the pack so they stick in a thumb nail when rested on it. This make more difference than most people think in hook ups. Booyah Jr. Pointed nose frog did the trick for me. Looking for a great frogn' season for 23. Water temp is in the mid to high 40s right now.
Tyler, thank you so much for the tip about having that extra setup ready to go when you miss that fish with a frog. I have never thought about that when frog fishing before and could have definitely put that tip to good use in the past. Love your videos!
Great froggin tips, tyler!! If you had 4 mistakes, I’m sure the next one will be hookset. It’s so hard, but delaying a sec or 2 after the blowup really gives the bass time to take it. thanks!

I agree, I've always bent my frog hooks up. Especially important here in Maryland with northern snakehead which love frogs and topwater
