▬ A NOTE ON USING LED LIGHTS AS HALOGEN BULB REPLACEMENTS ▬
Aim your headlights AT LEAST once a year and ALWAYS after replacing the bulbs.
If the cutoff is bad or you can’t aim them accurately or the light output scatters, it is NOT safe to use. Try a different style of LED or one with a lower output that will be more compatible with your light housing. See my other videos for more reviews.

I've just installed Bevinsee Z25 H7 in my headlights that are a mixed HID projector (low beam)and halogen reflector (high beam) design. I replaced halogen with LED in high beam while keeping to stock HID in low beam. The Z25 is a compact design with a small heatsink behind the LED chip that doesn't extend out the back. This works for me as my VW headlights are very tight and I wanted to keep the stock dust covers on. Heat buildup is not so important as my high beams are only on a few minutes at most and seem brighter than halogens even after heated up. I'm happy with my choice and the color matches my HID but I know there are other super compact designs, for example by Auxito. I've never seen reviews of these and I'm sure it would be interesting for many of us if you could review/test some and see how they compare to designs with bigger heatsinks like I'm thinking to put in my Toyota SUV.
    Just a thought, thanks!

The thing that I’m concerned about is the low hot spot location. I purchased the Sealight X4 9005 bulbs and the light pattern is very similar to this headlight. The hot spot is low and you would have to raise the top of the beam higher than normal which I dont like. I’m going to install my Sealight X4 lights in my high beam and buy the Hikari 2023 Future bulbs which your review shows the hot spot just below the top cut off light line. Very good review. Thanks, Steven B

I personally use the V45 in my reflection high beams. It stomps most light bars I see on the road lmao. People will be infront with their light bar
I come along and summon the sun with the tips of my fingers.
They would be way too bright for my low beams, I use the v35 in my projector low beam, which are already incredibly bright. They seem to have a very accurate beam pattern though and they don't lose so much brightness overtime.
Recently I purchased their foglight kit, can't remember the exact model, no longer available. They are insanely bright, act as a sweeper light with my high beams.

I just installed a pair of these V45's, I was so impressed by your review and the price, they are super bright, would you suggest trying to mount the driver externally as it get so hot or am I overthinking this? To mount the driver outside the headlight housing would entail having to cut a hole large enought to get the driver thru and then having to seal that up again, but I think moisture might still be able to migrate into the headlight via the braided wires, your thoughts? Thanks for these great reviews.

I have compared these against the V55. The V45s have the led chipset closer to the tip of the bulb than the V55. In my application that makes my beam spread wider. Haven’t had the chance to test the throw yet but the color is cooler vs the v55. One thing to note, the closer to the tip the chipset is, the wider the beam. You can see that in these test from Jason where he has to aim the projector higher to get the hotspot on the meter. It’s similar to the y13 from Auxito.

    - there was no need to adjust low beam and light output was very good, but not outstanding. (Halogens will destroy projector and reflector mirror linings and they will reflect less)
    - in high beams projector these are outstanding, throw distance is remarkable.
    - high beams needed ti be adjusted after change because there were too high throwing
    - they can get hot, proceed with caution, driver is hottest place so place it away from pastics
    - there might be significant light bleed above cut off line

That movement of the hotspot towards the bottom is exactly why leds in halogen projectors are not ideal. Sure, some are better, some are worse, but this bevinsee in combination with that projector is not good at all. Maybe there will be other halogen projectors that will do a better job at focusing the bevinsee light, but surely there won't be a perfect light focus like with a halogen.
When you put that bevinsee in a projector and use it on the streets, expecially on a highway, you will see things only in front of the car, distance view is gone.
