This confirms what I experienced with these same V55. Pretty disappointing and the loss after a few minutes is worse in my units which have a dust cover. I’m not kidding when I say they are barely visible after 15 mins.
Shocking outcome ! So the V45 would be the better choice in this case. The V55’s are only a bit brighter than my GTR Lighting Ultra 2’s . Excellent Video !👍👌
Great and very informative video as always. Would it be possible to get a test on dual beam bulbs that have the high and low in one bulb? I have h13’s and I feel like the bulbs that I try after watching your videos have a bit different performance. I know it varies from different housings and such but I feel like there might be some differences between the performance of a single beam and dual beam bulb
I'm one of the hundred lol.... as always great video, thanks for sharing your results, and you are my go to guy for led bulb results..... are people still doing H.I.D.s Xenon lights?
Truly shocking results. Went ahead and bought the v55 reading the specs and thought might live up to the hype because of it's predecessors success and the v45 driver getting too hot but alas. Don't know why would they worsen a truly vfm product.
Could you do the KOOMTOOM H11 Led Headlight 5000K? Or the DDM Tuning SaberLED 55W Accu/V2 ProX 4500k again with the raw stats to compare? Looking for a light without the blue tints!

Fahren has a 2023 upgrade for Termitor (30000 lumens) and Forenner (28000 lumens) I bought the Forenner for my car because those are the newest and brightest 9005 bulbs Fahren makes.
@@dilsonmendez6640 I wouldn’t call the “2023” Termitor an upgradeZ I tried it and first thing to note is that it’s an All in one unit, beam spread pretty avg at best. I just tried the 2023 Fahren Scourge and it’s surprisingly Good. Much better than expected and the cutoff on my H11 projectors is way sharper than even stock bulbs. Another thing to add is that the 2023 Termitor does NOT have an Adjustable collar.
Hello! Could we ask for a V45 and V55 comparison video? Of course with new measurements! Not cutting the older measurements of the V45. Thank you in advance!
I received and installed them today. I don't have plenty of experience with LED bulbs, but on my DEPO headlights (aftermarket) they won't fit. I have to do sand just a tiny bit either the headlight mount ring or the two edges of the bulb! So that would be a nice and easy addition to the spreadsheets! The dimensions of the bulbs, especially the outer diameter of them.
@@CarLightReviews Thank you! This is a really needed information as on my car the V55 they just fit and regarding the out diameter I have to dremel the headlight's projectors as the bulb outer diameter was just some mm bigger. This was my first experience on my car with LEDs but man, they are so much pain in the ass if the car doesn't give you space to work and if you don't have projectors so you have to aim them too. And all of them of course if you're lucky they fit in your headlight.
@@CarLightReviews When I installed V55 I made a comparison with the luxometer application on my phone and the V45 had more lux than the V55, and watching some videos from my dash cam I see more light with the V45
Light dispersion is expected due to the intensity of the lamp’s light. Each lens has a certain capacity to handle the light; if the intensity exceeds this capacity, light dispersion occurs. I believe LEDs are excellent for this purpose.
I agree with that. To me, for low beams is between 20W-35W, for high beams is between 30W-65W. And for fog lights. Between 8W from looks and match for the headlights, to more usable light 25W.
Those patterns are also BAD like really BAD. There is some huge design error on these LED bulbs even though they don't have a big LED chip. The reflector pattern is unusable, will be blinding to everybody else. Also the projector pattern is useless, the "hotspot" being so low means you will have tons of foreground and no distance at all. Terrible LED bulb.
Did you notice any excessive fan noise with these? I have both the V45 and V55. The 45s are not audible at all, but I can clearly hear the V55 fans from within the car when the engine is off. I was wondering if they tried to revise the cooling of these. I bought mine just a month ago.
It wasn't meant to be released until there is inventory available so people can actually purchase them. Somehow, UA-cam make it public. I thin it was a glitch. It will be re-released soon.
@@CarLightReviews Alright. i saw the review and just bought it for 65dollars with shipping on aliexpress.. same leds. dont want to pay like 50dollars more because there is a Diamond Vision label on the package.. thats just scamming people.
@@andreknudsne7648 I wouldn't say that it is fair to call it a "scam" because what you just described is how the majority of retail businesses operate. Are you sure you are getting the exact same light, exact same driver internals, etc.? You might be, but you won't know for sure because every factory can have alternate manufacturing lines with different components. How would a warranty issue be handled? How long is it going to take to arrive? You might indeed be getting the same thing for a lower cost, but there are potential tradeoffs. Just something to consider.

Thanks for the review. Even though the specs are good, I am surprised that there are no exposure of coper tubs anywhere on the shaft to release the heat like most other high power bulbs. Perhaps that is why the performance of the light output is so poor.
The heat is released by the radiator at the bottom not by the copper tube at the front, I think the V55 should have the two copper vapor tube like other leds but the cover has masked it
I'm sorry, but I strongly oppose you for your video and your opinion. I have been testing all led lights of this brand v45 now v55 d1s etc. for 3 years. I can say that of all the other brands, this is the most durable, powerful and built in a quality way, so it is not plastic. We know that other brands are made entirely of plastic and have only fresh parts that burn or catch fire. In 3 years and with hundreds of types of cars that I have tested, they are fantastic, I say this from my experience in the field and not from some momentary measurements. It means it is overheated from get go. 35-50 watts is probably the sweet spot for any LED to replace halogen with 55-65 watts
