THIS is how you do test reviews. BRAVO AND THANK YOU! Having to spend hours online doing research and cross-referencing and comparing... you made it a LOT easier and saved time in my life. Thank you!
Thanks so much, Shawn! Glad it helped you out! Be sure to check out my other videos, I am making new ones all the time. And if you find value in my work, be sure to hit that THANKS icon here on this video! I'd really appreciate it! 😊
I was so stumped which headlight to use. So I took your advice and popped in some Y13’s in my my 2013 Chevy Volt. I’m shocked how great they are. Such a huge vision difference over stock. Don’t hear fan noise inside the car. I appreciate all the work you done to help me make a decision! Thank you very much.
This is the scientific test I was looking for. Lumens don't mean anything when driving on a dark road, but luxes do and performance over extended driving are equally as important. Thanks
I bet the Q16 would be great in a headlight that has a separate highbeam projector, as you don't usually run those for all that long, and you don't usually have weak spots in highbeam projectors.
I just wanted to come on here after a year later and say you were right on this ! I got the q16s but ended up with y19s beam pattern is perfect on my 14 accord sport no weak spots good catch!
The dark spot at the bottom of the beam pattern is because the output isn't actually 360* as claimed. There is a dead spot from the board/heat sink. If you rotate the bulb 90* the pattern will change. On my headlights the plug sits about 5 o'clock so the pattern gets really distorted with the fixed tabs.
That weak spot/shadow is due to light blocked by the central stalk making it Non-360 degree light source. Brighter ones make the shadow look worst because it looks more contrast compared to the brightest spot
The Y13 is a great light. It has a great beam projection, with virtually no dark spots in the front of the car. It's small and light in weight, and slips into the headlight socket effortlessly. I've had a pair in my car for nearly 4 years and they're still going strong. I just wish Auxito would update the light by keeping the design, but upping the lumens. Even if you are not running the Y13s, I would recommend them as a spare set to keep in the car just in case something happens to your installed lights.
Great review. An observation on the Q16: it IS adjustable. There’s a small Phillips screw that’s visible and the collar/ring does move. Curious if the cutoff and spread would be better on your test if it was properly clocked. Question on the Y13: was the bulb clocked to 9/3 o’clock? I did on my projector equipped headlight on these Y13 bulbs and the difference was pretty dramatic on the hotspot size. The properly clocked setup being better.
Ur right. I can see that little black screw on the Q16. For low beams, that is adjustable. But definitely they don’t have adjustable collar for high beams
@@crs1474 if u have 9005 auxito - Q16, would u be able to get the chance to inspect ur high beam led bulbs, and see if u manage to get them adjust just by testing it? When I looked at the image, the collar looks like it’s blowing half of the center of the Philips screw.
Great review, Chris! I have a suggestion for you: a brief mention of "CAN bus compatibility" for each bulb would be valuable. I know a lot less than you do about headlights, so please correct me if I'm wrong. But my understanding is as follows... Some cars have a current sensor for each headlight, which communicates over the CAN bus, to detect a burned out headlight or taillight bulb, and communicate that information to a computer, so that a warning can be displayed to the driver. LED bulbs usually use less power than halogens, so installing an LED bulb in a car with that feature may trigger spurious warnings. To avoid them, some LED bulbs draw (waste) extra power with an additional resistive load. If your car DOES have that headlight-out detection feature, the extra resistive load is useful. But if your car does NOT have that feature, the extra resistive load is detrimental, because it just wastes power and generates extra heat. So I think it would be useful to know, for each bulb, whether it's wasting extra heat with a resistive load for CAN bus compatibility, or not. If I had to guess, I'd guess that the extra load is usually in the external driver module, so an external driver module which gets overly hot probably contains a resistive load for CAN bus compatibility. But that's just a guess. It would be interesting to pick one of the bulbs which has an external driver module that gets overly hot, and take the module apart, and see if that's what's inside.
I had the Q16 installed for a few days. Honestly, they were TOO bright. Felt like I had high beams on all the time. Not to mention the fan noise was quite loud. Just switched to the M3 and it’s perfect! UPDATE: I have since switched to the Y13’s and they truly are the best bang for your buck!!
@@CarLightReviews came back here to say I switched to the Y13. The m3 were good, but I kept thinking about how the y13’s seemed to be better. Especially with your tests. I have since switched to those, and have returned the other ones. I may be indecisive, but I love these ones! Haha
I bought the Q16 after seeing your test results. To me it seemed to have a good mix of attributes.. high output, low noise, all in one form factor, decent energy usage, and the thing that pushed it over the line for me was they were on sale for 24usd shipped. The biggest problem with the Q16 was that it hit 76 degrees C. which is not that hot, but hot enough to drop the output by 30%. so I made a plan to order some upgrade parts at the same time I bought the LEDs. When it all arrived, I opened up the LED housing using a triangle bit, used some IPA to clean off all the stock thermal paste.. which I have to say was hilariously sparse and inconsistently applied. Added my own ceramic thermal paste which I chose for it's longevity, resistance to pump out and drying, ease of application, and cheap price. However, it's performance at heat transfer is good but nothing special.. probably as good or slightly better than the stock thermal paste if it was applied properly lol. I then added a 28mm x 28mm x 15mm heatsink to the back of the LED housing with some thermal glue.. by luck I had ordered the exact right length/width to fit it perfectly. My car doesn't use a dust cap but it's still fairly cramped in there.. it fit well but could have maybe went 28x28x25 at most. Anyway it all worked out great. light output is very good, the heat transfers into the heatsink excellently. overall hope my mods allow it to stay cooler and in turn stay brighter and last longer.
I actually got Auxito M4 for a customer's car and I noticed how bright it was. So I did a search and found your video, so now I bought the Y13 for my personal vehicle thanks to you. Can't wait to try it.
Hey dude, I'm back to give you my thoughts. I installed the Y13 and ALMOST instantly I noticed they were the brightest LED's I have tried (2013 corolla hatch / projector type headlights). I did some driving around for testing and confirmed these are slightly brighter than the 55w HID setup I used to have a few years back and the last pear I had (NOVSIGHT 50W 12000LM/Pair LED's). However they weren't as bright as the Auxito M4 (2010 Corolla Sedan/diamond type headlights) I believe this is due to the diamond style headlights. When I find some time I would like to try adjust the bulb sitting location for optimum performance. Anyway, I'm still happy with the purchase. These are the brightest bulbs I have tried, even though only by a small margin in still happy. Thanks again.
Hello, and thank you for the great in-depth review! I just replaced all four of my headlight bulbs with halogens after one of the low-beam bulbs burned out. Since I needed to take care of it right away, I didn't have time to review LED bulbs, but did that aftter the replacement. I ended up ordering Auxito replacement bulbs for all the interior and exterior, and expect the order to arrive today. I noticed that of all five of the lights you reviewed, only one was fanless. I'm still learning a lot about the different options, and wanted to get your feedback on pros and cons of having a fanless unit. Unfortunately, I didn't come across your review until today. If I had seen it sooner, I would have asked this question before placing my order. Hopefully, fanless LEDs are just as good and reliable as fanned units. Thanks, and I look foward to your reply!
May 2022 I bought the Q16’s, just seeing your channel today after clicking through some videos to solve hyper flashing on LED Turn Signals and thought I’d see if my research served me well. Your Q16’s looked different than mine, so I went to check n see what I ordered, guessing the H4 vs H11 is probably the main difference but seems a 2022 updated version (H4/9003) with a different fan style and driver exists now. Curious if the change may have impacted its performance. Auxito seems to be a great company so far. In my Sequoia, as most Toyotas of similar age seem to have issues upgrading to LED’s where there is hyper flashing or no working fog lights issues, at no additional cost they sent out the harness for each light to correct the problem. I’ll be Subscribing after watching this single video, watching for similar content in the future. Well done, and thank you.
I’ve been using the Y13 in my fog housing for my 03 f150 that’s reflector. Pattern + luminosity are perfect and they’ve held up through 2-3 MN winters no problem.
As mentioned, I have been using the Y13 for almost 3 years now in one of my vehicles. Still working great. I have tested MANY lights since than that could be considered better, but despite the test results, they still perform just fine.
I just installed the Q16 9012s in our Fiat 500 and they are fantastically bright and provide excellent light on the road. Important to note that LED bulbs must be installed with the LEDs facing 3:00 and 9:00; this usually requires clocking (rotating) them and not all kits allow this.
In my opinion, temperature defines the durability/longevity of those lamps. In this case i would opt for the m3 with zes chips. They run low temp, low wattage and great light output(lumens) and ZES used to be a philips chip if im not wrong.
Thanks for the video! I bought from Auxito 9005 HB3 the M6 Series (part number DD-M6-9005) but still need more illumination. For Kia Seltos 2024 projector headlight. Then Y19 Series would be a big difference in illumination?
AWESOME CHANNEL. Started by searching a couple items and ended up culling your spreadsheet for a long time. This demystifies the entire field. Really appreciate the info!
Hi, great video. Would still recommend Auxito Y13 in 2024? In the video, looks like Y13 does not have a very evident hotspot, is it due to close enough design to a halogen?
Are you familar with the I9? It seems to be smaller in size but the details in the spec doesn't really explain anything enough. I want the y13 it's just not sure if it will fit my 2018 BMW 230i fog light application.
@@CarLightReviews so far so good... I think i need a more proper alignment but still its super bright and lights up pretty far as they are now... Liked the all in 1 design for a more oem fit Plus they were a bit cheaper than the y13.
@@JosSerr-mw9fcwith that very low temperature that’s 121 degrees Fahrenheit, this will last for quite a long time. As long as an led bulb that’s bright with a very good low temperature, and balance well. U will be fine.
@@toyotabrony yeah i like them so much that I ended up buying for my rav4 too. Its a decent price with great performance tbh.... Very happy with the product 💯💯 definitely worth it
Bought the Auxitos Q16 for my 2011 Honda CR-V, and they work well. Due to OEM shaped beam pattern, oncoming cars are not blinded by me, and I am no longer blinded by them. Daytime driving lights work, low beams illuminate road very well, and high beams illuminate triple the distance of old bulbs. I am very happy with results.
My Auxito M5S just arrived from Aliexpress and it looks like it's an upgraded version of the Q16. I got a good deal on it @ under £25. It's rated at 120W per pair (60W per bulb). I tested it with a USB-C PD trigger and it shows 44W. I've not installed it yet as it just arrived and the weather has been terrible. I will be looking forward to your review of it just in case. Thanks for all your reviews...
@toyotabrony Yes, it's really very bright. One quick thing to note is that the PD trigger is limiting the bulb from reaching its maximum possible wattage. The reason being is because I also tested novsight N60 (which is rated at 100W per bulb) with the same PD trigger and I observed 32W per bulb. However, according to this channel, 66.2W per bulb was observed for N60. In essence, the PD trigger is not reporting the correct wattage. The only way to know the correct power rating of the bulb is to use a proper power meter. Since I don't have that, I had to settle with what I have.
Love the video! I just bought the Auxito B3F yellow Fog Lights before I saw your video, is there a better yellow Auxito fog light bulb for a 2018 Nissan Rogue SL? Thanks
The problem with most of these units are the form factor where they are much deeper than than stock halogens. Especially prevalent on GMC/Chevy models with the dust caps....they don't fit and the manufacturer websites of all the LEDs don't provide the size...have two different brands in a GMC Terrain
Agreed. I made a video on my other channel outlining a few options for that situation. Check it out: ua-cam.com/video/uwUIePSEUco/v-deo.htmlsi=mURCxr9pl5gFEV8p
My car has separate bulbs for high beam and low beams. I was really considering changing my Y13 to the Q16 but the heat concerns me. I think i will use the Y13 for low and Q16 for high.
The gap at the bottom of the beam has nothing to do with the amount of light (there's no such thing as too much light that can affect the shape of the beam) but with the bulb design. It's the reflection of the gap between the emitters, the same one you would see when shining at the wall. That's why the Y13 didn't show any gap, with its design LEDs are very close together and there's no "walls" around them to stop the light therefore there are no gaps either.
Ordered the M3s for my 16 ram zero issues with the projectors (high beam) extremely bright, my (sea light) fogs cover in the lower area so the entire front of my truck is a giant light , love them
Hi there, did you ever use an external 12 volt power supply and measure the current used by each of them and see what is the actual wattage they use ??
Yes. That is what I do in every video. Watch this video and you will see that I explain my test methods and see this data sheet that shows the results, including the actual wattage: carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs

What is the "physical" difference between LED bulbs: "9012 LED Bulb HIR2 LED Light Bulbs Mini Size 80W 16,000LM and Y13 "9012 LED Bulb HIR2 LED Light Bulbs Mini Size 80W 16,000LM"? I know Y13 are for projectors. Are they interchangeable?

@@CarLightReviews iv just fitted same bulbs for the high beam now got error code bit odd. Need to get a decoder or resistor (which might help the slight flicker) let ya know. They are great lights drove tonight with new high beams loads better.
Creative and detailed explanation, and I wish you would show it on the road as well, and I ask you to put a detailed video of the hand of the 9007. We, Ford Crown Victoria owners, suffer a lot from poor lighting, and we do not know which company to choose and which model (please accept my request and put a video about 9007)
I get the request to show road view shots often, but doing so wouldn't be in a controlled environment. My road conditions and ambient light and camera settings might make a headlight look very bright or very dim compared to your conditions, and anyone who makes lighting videos from the road and presenting that as "accurate" is misleading. That's why I do the same test in the same environment every time. My data tells the truth in my videos at carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs
Thanks for this review though a little late to the party... It's so difficult to find true figures for LED headlights as there is always so much hype and different markets have different names for possibly the same product...
Got the q16 and it’s a beast. Have you considered airflow when driving? I believe there must be at least some sort of airflow when you drive. As such, it might actually be retaining a tad more lux after 27mins. Thanks for your review! Maybe you could also do a comparison between those fanless leds (braided aluminum) vs those with fans. I want to know their thermal performance.
Yep, that Q16 is indeed a monster when it comes to output. How long have you been using yours? Yes, there is always the airflow aspect to consider, but I can't test for the difference in sitting at a stoplight and doing 150mph (which I may or may not have done a time or two) so that is why I test the halogen as a baseline and the LED upgrades in the same exact consistent environment. I used to use the fanless headlights with the braided aluminum heat sink and they seem to work OK, but I think there is a reason that they are not more common. Powered fans seems to be the way to go. I think the only way I could do a test to see the true effectiveness of of the braided heat sink is to find one that has has both versions...a powered fan or the braids....but otherwise exactly the same. I am not sure if something like that exists.
@@CarLightReviews i just got it installed a week ago haha. The fans are audible when you are outside. Not really that it bothers me, more like Im afraid it would conk out after a year or two. I hope it lasts. Im using novsight h11 (a common brand) before the q16 and its really an improvement from the already bright LEDs that im using. My H4 lamp has this braided thing. Already using it for ra year. So far so good. This H4 brand im using has an interesting design, the low beam does not turn off then you use high beam. Effectively you are using either low or low+high beam. Thereby increasing light output tremendously. Have you reviewed h4s before?
@@pbatacan I have some Novsight lights that I will be testing in the near future. When you say "H4", are you referring to the size or a brand name? I am having a hard timing finding H4 brand LED lights...only the H4 size.
@@CarLightReviews the H4 bulb type not the brand. Ohh nice! Im looking forward for your future reviews. H4 type bulbs are most common here in our country as headlight bulbs. H11 are used as fog lights.
@@pbatacan Gotcha...that's what I thought. I test in H11 size because, as you saw at the 1:34 mark, that is what is most common in my country. 😀. Of all of the Novsight models out there, which one do you think I should test first?
GREAT JOB!! I’d like to see you add a part where you shoe how the bulbs look while they’re on if you’re lining at the housing. Do they give a full bulb look or do they look like Cat/Snake eyes. I know it might be challenging to do since most of the lights are very bright. Also, I know you mentioned the general OEM temp around the middle of the video, but if you could try to mention it in the beginning when you mention the OEM output, that’s be great. Either way IMPRESSIVE REVIEW!!! Thanks for taking your time to put it together!!
Would you recommend the Y13for a 2023 KIA SELTOS EX with Projector Housing? They have that shutter inside that switches back & forth for your High & Low beams.

Once again that Auxito 2 LED review was awesome and very helpful. I have a 2008 Acura MDX, a few years ago I had a pair of H11 LED 8000K Fog lights installed; which are connected to some sort of ballast. Question: I am aware that my DRL presently have 9005 Halogen bulbs, but is it possible for me to switch over that same fog light installation and reconnect it to my original Daytime Running lights connection? Please let me kono ASAP if that can be done? Thank you sir.

How is heat after say 4 hours? I typically do a long drive that requires being on highway for 3 to 4 hours at night with brights on. Will these be ok with extended use? My bulbs are 9005.
They almost always stop declining after anywhere from a few minutes to 15-20 minutes, depending on the quality of the light. The system regulates the power to mitigate heat. Better quality lights do a better job of that while keeping brightness. Cheap components need to be dimmed a lot more because they cannot handle the heat.
That varies from company to company. Most from my understanding are easy to work with. For Auxito, here is the information you might be looking for... auxito.com/pages/warranty auxito.com/pages/returns-refund
I purchased these headlights for my 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 as I snapped it in place and went to put it in the receptacle area the round rubber seal is very difficult to get back on securely any tips or tricks
- Need a discussion of properly aimed headlights. IMO most vehicles on the road have improperly aimed headlight assemblies to begin with because vehicle inspections really aren’t a thing in the U.S. anymore. As vehicles wear and age, the way they sit on their suspension alters the factory/brand new headlight setting. This is so important for LED or halogen. Reflector or projector. 25 feet back, with your headlights projected onto a wall, you want the top of the light bar cutoff a minimum of 2 inches lower than the measurement, at the car, from the ground to the center of your headlight assembly. I go ~3.5 inches lower, putting the cutoff(that I can visually observe at night on the ground) out between 3-4 car lengths in front of me. I never get flashed with LED bulbs and would never go back to halogen. - You want the blade of the LED bulb positioned like you’re using a knife in the kitchen. Completely vertical. This is very important for reflector assemblies. Walk around a big parking lot and look at how many people have their LED bulb blades horizontally and diagonally positioned in their reflector style assembly. It’s a lot. That scatters the light really weird. Put your car LED light on a wall and spin one around in a reflector style assembly and you’ll see. It’ll even change the pattern slightly in a projector assembly. - Only buy a blade style LED bulb and, IMO, never get LEDs less than 5500K for street use. Whilst the K rating is technically color, not LUX(brightness), regular human beings react worse to extremely white spectrum light than to soft light with the blue hue. Even when the two lights are the exact same LUX. - If your headlight assembly plastic is yellowed polish it clear or replace. Don’t just purchase super bright LED bulbs to compensate. You’ll find that with a clear assembly you won’t need extremely bright LED bulbs for street use.
Hey I have a question if you could please answer it I have a 2012 Kia Sorento H1 high beam and then h11 low beam I was going to go with y13 bulb for my low beam with is projector my high beam is H11 and I was going to go with either q16 or M13 which would you recommend
That's really all up to you and what you need out of your lighting and your budget. Using Y13 as lows and the Q16 as the high beam is not a bad plan, but if you need to save a few bucks, the M3 is a good high beam alternative.
I bought the y13 based on your reviews and found exactly what you did. More scattered in my reflectors than I'd like. Currently running a set of fahrens that serm to have a beam closer to stock, but it seems like they fade out after a while. Great video though!
@@CarLightReviews they seem to fade out in time. My commute is right around the 25/30 minute mark and right at about 10/15 mins they seem to get noticeably dimmer. The bulbs I'm running are h11, fahren Krieges. They were noticeably brighter/better pattern than the y13 in my ram reflectors, but like I said they seem to get noticeably dimmer.
Is the Y13 collar rotatable... I have q16 but sadly on a Toyota vehicle when installing led, the bulb is off center and not perpendicular.... So need one that can be adjusted on the collar.
Yes the Y13 is adjustable for low beams but not for high beams. If u need high beam led bulbs with an adjustable collar, go for lasfit. They have a 360 adjustable collar.

I can tell you that the Diode Dynamics is not going to be as bright as many of the offerings out there, but there is also nothing that compares in terms of quality and engineering. The Auxito H7 works amazing in a factory volkswagen golf mk4 generation headlight assemblies
I bet the Q16 would be great in a headlight that has a separate highbeam projector, as you don't usually run those for all that long, and you don't usually have weak spots in highbeam projectors.
Good call!
I have been using Auxito lights for turn signal/running lights/reverse lights for years. Excellent quality and value!

But ur talking about the H11 size or the 9005 that has adjustable color screw?
@@toyotabrony i think you’re right.
I’ve had the Y13s in my 2016 Elantra GT for 2 years, H11 & H7 ( Highbeam / DRL )
Awesome bulbs that I can put on both my dust covers.
where did you purchase them
I had the Q16 installed for a few days. Honestly, they were TOO bright. Felt like I had high beams on all the time. Not to mention the fan noise was quite loud. Just switched to the M3 and it’s perfect!
UPDATE: I have since switched to the Y13’s and they truly are the best bang for your buck!!
Glad you found the right light for your application. Question...did you aim the headlights after you installed the Q16?
@@CarLightReviews Yes I did (also thanks to youtube) they were just TOO bright for me. But loving the M3's.
@@CarLightReviews came back here to say I switched to the Y13. The m3 were good, but I kept thinking about how the y13’s seemed to be better. Especially with your tests. I have since switched to those, and have returned the other ones. I may be indecisive, but I love these ones! Haha
i can't believe you can hear the fan noise of headlight bulbs over the din of the engine. you must have super hearing or something 🙂
Pretty cool hack!
Have you done any review for 9003/h4
I actually got Auxito M4 for a customer's car and I noticed how bright it was. So I did a search and found your video, so now I bought the Y13 for my personal vehicle thanks to you. Can't wait to try it.
Glad you found this video helpful! Let me know what you think of the Y13 when you get it.
Just ordered a set for my 2017 Malibu. I'll be replacing halogen factory units but auxito swears that they're plug and play... Thoughts?
@@dilldowschwagginz2674 they were plug and play for the 2 vehicles I tested on. Enjoy👍

Man, this is amazing, so much work and detail. Love the spreadsheet to compare too. Will definitely buy some stuff using your links!

Thanks for the comment and for watching!
Are the 9012 q16s able to be “rotated”
@@bobsuruncle8520nope, i have them... Sadly can't be rotated on a Toyota hence trying to find one that can be rotated.. Is y13 rotatable?
In my opinion, temperature defines the durability/longevity of those lamps. In this case i would opt for the m3 with zes chips. They run low temp, low wattage and great light output(lumens) and ZES used to be a philips chip if im not wrong.
Thanks for the video! I bought from Auxito 9005 HB3 the M6 Series (part number DD-M6-9005) but still need more illumination. For Kia Seltos 2024 projector headlight. Then Y19 Series would be a big difference in illumination?

Hi, great video. Would still recommend Auxito Y13 in 2024? In the video, looks like Y13 does not have a very evident hotspot, is it due to close enough design to a halogen?
Are you familar with the I9? It seems to be smaller in size but the details in the spec doesn't really explain anything enough.
I want the y13 it's just not sure if it will fit my 2018 BMW 230i fog light application.

So with 44 watts per bulb. That means it produces 4400 lumens per bulb.
That’s actually very bright for all in one unit.

Very similar to the Y13.
I think that is a pretty smart approach! Good thinking!
Ordered the M3s for my 16 ram zero issues with the projectors (high beam) extremely bright, my (sea light) fogs cover in the lower area so the entire front of my truck is a giant light , love them
Cool, glad the vid helped!

@Car Light Reviews ... would the Q16's (H11's) fit a C6 fog light and projector hi beam ? i do need the fog lights to be a tad brighter than the h10's and was wondering if they would fit .... 168 deg f is still way less than the temperature of the stock fog halogen no ? Great reviews ...keep them coming!
Is the y13 brighter and better than the fahren forscher or is the forscher better and brighter than the y13 which one would you go with and why?
So the age old question:
Is it a good idea to install an LED bulb inside a projector headlight meant for Halogen bulbs?
Ip ratings are read as individual numbers. Fist and second numbers mean different things. First is dirt and debris protection and second is water protection

My H4 lamp has this braided thing. Already using it for ra year. So far so good.

How does the new m3s compare to the m3
Is the y13 a fog light or headlight?
Do they fade out over time, like in my 27 minute test or they just aren't as bright as they used to be, all the way around?
@@CarLightReviews they seem to fade out in time. My commute is right around the 25/30 minute mark and right at about 10/15 mins they seem to get noticeably dimmer. The bulbs I'm running are h11, fahren Krieges. They were noticeably brighter/better pattern than the y13 in my ram reflectors, but like I said they seem to get noticeably dimmer.
@@hunterdan2002 the problem is the RAM! LOL! 😅
@@MasterSumai yeah, sure... The halogens in the ram produce a better beam pattern than the h4 in any Toyota I've ever seen.
Does it matter polarity on the thin nbr1 chiice H11 projector? Bc it apears if i switch polaraty on plug it will be brighter /hotter!!!!
No, it shouldn't matter.
Is the Y13 collar rotatable... I have q16 but sadly on a Toyota vehicle when installing led, the bulb is off center and not perpendicular.... So need one that can be adjusted on the collar.
Would you be installing these in a reflector or a projector?
Yes the Y13 is adjustable for low beams but not for high beams.
If u need high beam led bulbs with an adjustable collar, go for lasfit. They have a 360 adjustable collar.
which is better 22k lumens y19 or 22k lumens m5s in terms of durability and brightness
ps the 24k lumens y19 isnt available in my country 😢
Can you please tell me what's your honest review of the i9 vs y13? I wanted to use the y13 in my BMW 2018 230i F23 Coupe, but I am afraid maybe it will be to large to fit. Hence thinking of the i9.
I honestly cannot as I haven't tested it.
Really impressed with the details. I’d love to see a comparison of Auxito vs Diode Dynamics.
I can tell you that the Diode Dynamics is not going to be as bright as many of the offerings out there, but there is also nothing that compares in terms of quality and engineering. The DD SL1 is the closest thing to OEM that you can get for an aftermarket LED headlight upgrade. I made a couple of videos about them on my other channel with slightly different testing methods:

The 9012 bulbs have been giving me issue with a 2018 Toyota Rav4 adventurer.
What kind of issue?
@@CarLightReviews They start out great but between the 5-8 month mark I've noticed that they start flickering and the passenger side bulb always go dim, it runs but it's not throwing any light and the driver sidevlight turned a purplish blue color.
@@Edmondson_Avenue Which lights are they and what happens when you install different lights (even halogen)?
@@CarLightReviews Auxito 9012 bulbs in a 2018 Toyoto Rav4 Adventurer.
@@CarLightReviews it doesn't happen with halogen bulbs.
What's the brightest LED bulb you have test to today.
it is hard to say, as I have evolved my testing methods over time to be more accurate. Is there a particular light you are looking into? I can give you my advice based on my experience.
So frustrating that Auxito doesn’t list model numbers on Amazon or their website.
I have a 2013 Sonata. I have bought so many LEDs all in different price ranges, examples $60, $120, and even $200. It seems like any LED I try, they all seem to have the same issue. The hot spot is more focused closer to the car and I start to loose light around 1-1/2 car lengths ahead. I switch to my HID set and it gives pushes the hot spot where it should be thus giving more more light down the road. HID sets have so many wires and just tired with all the issues that came with HID but I cant switch to LED if I cant see the road. haha.
Do you have OEM or aftermarket headlight housings?
@@CarLightReviews Stock OEM 2013 hyundai sonata limited (chrome) housing. If needed, I can most certainly send you a pile of photos from all types of led bulb. Haha.
@@kevindaniel1076 Check and make sure the reflective coating isn't peeling or flaking off inside the projector reflector, that will have an impact.
@@CarLightReviews Ironically they are new-ish housings. In March 2019, My car was hit and the body shop replaced both front housings with OEM Hyundai parts. It wasn't replaced with a salvage or "rock auto" housing. This problem has occurred before the accident and after.
@@kevindaniel1076 I am thinking it might be the design of the projectors and they cannot handle the output of aftermarket lights. I am striking out otherwise.
When you test in a projector, do you install the dust cap if it fits?
I do not, because there's more variations of dust caps size and shape than I can ever account for.
Jason I'm having a hard time finding the auxito led in h11 the y-13 bulb and h1q16 where would be the best website to purchase these bulbs I tried calling the company direct but they don't answer the phone
Links are in the description of the video.
When you are testing in the F150 reflector housing are you leaving the dust cover on?
I do not have the dust cover on when I test with F150 headlight, nor when I am doing the projector test.
Would you pick the Firehawk you reviewed over the y13 in a projector headlight?
Personally? The Firehawk is a pretty good light, but I myself still prefer the Y13. The Y13 isn't as bright, but it does have a better output pattern (according to my test setup) and it is less expensive. Plus, I still prefer an external driver design. Have a look at the numbers to compare at carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs
I have a question I have a 2012 Kia Sorento low beam h11 I can't find the y13 bulb and what would be the best high beam which is H1 what would you recommend for auxito
Links are in the description of the video.
Are auxito considered good and better than the other Amazon brands?
Chynese sellers are hit and miss, don't be fooled by these so called "brand names" this is a paid for review by this company to boost sales. even after 6months of usages, they'll snake out of their so called warranty.
I just bought the Y13s with a coupon for $50.46 on Amazon. I have high hopes...
@@casablanca1706 I ended up canceling the order and ordering the Auxbeam headlights that are the best he's reviewed on this channel
Wish I would have found this video earlier but I made some good choices. No way I was going to spend $200 on some LED replacement on some other channels.
Curious...which ones were you looking at?
Hi which do you think is better? Novsight or auxito? I'm thinking of buying novsight n60 but i came across this brand.
You have to define "better". What is most important in an LED lighting upgrade for YOUR needs? Brightness? Value? Quality? Pick two of the three. Then, take a look at my spreadsheet at carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs and review/compare the data based on the two categories you chose. That should help!
Auxito y13 H11 are exactly same to Osram H7 45210Cw led Headlight
