I know how to apply a patch but every emulator I try it on the load screen doesn't load properly I can only see the water fall and 4 boxes and it crashes after 7 sec. I can press start and get to the save screen where u make your name but it crashes in 7 sec? I tried on 6 nes emulators it does it on all. I used Lunar IPS to apply the patch to Legend of Zelda, and the online patch on the website both do the same thing. Can you please help me?
I finally figured it out its because I wasn't using the rom named Legend of Zelda, The (USA) I just using the one named Legend of Zelda, The.NES Kinda lame but I noticed it on the website under Rom/Iso information. Being new to that site you should make it a little clearer
Oh I thought this was Zelda 2. I think if you turned Zelda 2 into a Mario game it would actually be interesting. There is a Mario final fantasy out there that was done really well.
Whats the Best Emulator That Works with This Game ??? Because i Cant Find Any Working Emulators' so 🙁 Because the Closes Thing i SEEN That Works for a Tiny BIT' is Just 4 Blocks & Water Running 🙁
Those romhacks are fine, they're just in a different category. Quality of life changes, bug fixes etc. are very important. This is a romhack beyond romhacking. You can make this exact with a program called zquest.
This is so hilarious and such a bizarre crossover. Even mashed up the two themes. It feels like a legit alternate universe NES title where this is the reality of what came out for the NES. It's like two incomplete ideas came together, or something happened where Miyamoto led a different life.
These Hacks have developed so far and great! It is a shame Nintendo ain‘t giving more credit and attention to all these extra creatives all over the world
So the reason your character appears on top of the doors when travelling from dungeon room to room... is because you've enabled the "Remove Sprite Limit" or similarly named graphics setting in the emulator. This setting works fine in most games but can cause weird oddities like this in some, Mesen has a setting to automatically disable it for games that'd exhibit graphics issues. Additionally I'd strongly suggest Mesen with one of Firebrand X's colour palettes (in NES video settings) for an accurate NES experience, like his Direct Composite palette.
@@NesDraug Wow, so you made this by yourself? That's amazing! It's incredible that the hack is not just The Legend of Zelda with altered graphics, but the layout of both the overworld and the dungeons have been completely changed as well. I also like that each of the areas where a dungeon is located corresponds graphically with one of the eight worlds of Super Mario Bros. 3. Well done!
Little tip. If there are save states in this game, there is a way to get max rupees in that gambling game without losing one rupee. Here is how: Enter the casino and make a save state. Choose any rupee. If you lose or it's not the highest win, then just reload your save state and choose that one next time since the amounts and order will be the same as long as you don't exit the casino first after reloading. This works in Zelda for NES on Switch so I don't see why it wouldn't work in this game as well. By doing this in NES Zelda, I always start with the blue ring and enough hearts to get the white sword before going to the first level.
This video was in my UA-cam suggestions and I'm not disappointed at all! This hack is great. I really like the attention to detail with the music. A lot of hacks out there only deal with the sprites and don't go all out like this one did.
First reaction: I don't do drugs. So why am I so high? Second: this reinforces the theory about the infinite universe where absolutely every possible outcome on a subatomic level that could happen, will happen.
If Nintendo did this and a Super Mario Bros game style game in the world of Hyrule, twin pack as a celebration of X years of Nintendo using their 2 Flagship Franchises would be special.
I would love to see a game that mashes all of the original NES games like this - but mix all the different boards together and make all the characters and weapons playable. Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Mario Kart, Metroid, Punch Out, Kid Icarus, etc
It's pretty solid but I think the dungeon designs are a bit plain. They were in the first game but I think that had potential to be improved here, lots of plain floors of black or sand. The overworld and spritework are all incredible. I give it an 85/100
Thats actually really cool ! 😮 According to the ‘Multiverse Theory’, EVERY eventuality INEVITABLY becomes FACT somewhere in the infinite multiverse… therefore, there IS a universe out there where Mario and Link switched places! 🤯 This is a quality representation of what that game might be like. Now I’m curious as to what Legend of Zelda looks like in this theoretical Universe…As well as what the series would look like in 2023 (Perhaps we are excitedly waiting for the fall release of ‘Legend of Zelda WONDER’, lol)…SO CRAZY, but fun to think about. 😅
i like the title screen, there was a waterfall in the first legend of zelda game, but it wasn't big like in the title screen here and there, but we did see it's source that lake at the top of the waterfall steps, here there was a waterfall but it wasn't moving and you couldn't go into it.
there were chain chomps in the 3rd Legend of Zelda game, a link to the past? in the dark world, i said that might be another dimension, the mushroom kingdom

The music for this hack is phenomenal. I love that extra mile to give us the Mario melody with the Zelda flavor.
It's really amazingly done, almost like Mario's score with Zelda's instrumentation. Every tiny detail in this hack is mind-boggling.
The original music score an absolute masterpiece 👍💯
Seriously, I just scrolled down to comment that. Great job!
I'm astonished at the fact that every single song, and many of the sound effects, were effectively turned into a mashup of Mario and Zelda.
the interwoven Super Mario and Legend of Zelda themes is just geniously done.

The 43 yr old is quite impressed with whoever put this together. Nicely done.
Mario runs around the board like in Super Mario 3 during level selection. Great idea.
tbh i was half expecting the trees and flowers to dance like they do in SMB3 overworld.
The synthesis of the Mario and Zelda music is truly impressive
it's bad

10 out of 10. Simply, must have excellence. Hats off to the creator
This is an S Tier hack, great work! Absolutely fantastic!
The music is actually incredible, exactly how I imagine the SoundFont used for Mario Music
This is a great example of what a Romhack should be, not just sprite edits or pallette swaps
?? Are you not familiar with the many Zelda 2 remakes?
@@sprockkets Any particular remakes youre fond of that you can list? would love to check them out
@@SidewaysGts look up ROMhacks by the user ShadowOne333 for a good example of quality-of-life improvements over otherwise decent NES games.
It's fine to prefer more substantial hacks, but let's not be rude to respriters. They do good work, too.

Damn. Awesome romhack. This is clearly a labor of love

It's the reality where he made the Popeye game and got the license for it instead of having to use Donkey Kong 😂
Like how the music is a cross between Mario and Zelda. Very creative.
I watched the whole video. Rom looks good. Thank you for sharing :)
This has got to be the best music done in a romhack I've ever seen.
As a musician I can say this hack is incredibly creative with that mix between mario an zelda music!
Can't stand to watch more than a minute because I MUST go play this hack for myself! Thanks for informing me of this glorious hack's existence!
These Hacks have developed so far and great! It is a shame Nintendo ain‘t giving more credit and attention to all these extra creatives all over the world
Nintendo has tried to stop it numerous times. They still try.
dont worry they give a lot of attention to them - they are trying to shut down every roms sites they can
Nintendo congratulates these creators by handing them a lawsuit.
that final dungeon bgm sent shivers down my spine
This is so rad! probably one of the most interesting looking hacks I've ever seen!
Pretty cool mashup. This game would've sold well back in the day.
Oh man, just started watching. Looks really fun. I just got a copy, going to try it today, can't wait!

Man, the wsy every world mimicks its SMB3 counterpart, even down to the dungeons and everything! Very cool hack!
In an alternate universe, two of the most popular titles on the NES are Super Link and the Legend of Super Mario.
Finally, someone on UA-cam acknowledges the "Power/Super Stars" were originally called "Star-Man".
10/10 reloaded hack ever-I watched the whole thing, an absolute masterpiece good job !🔥💁♂️💯
This is literally the perfect video game mashup
I just started watching while travelling back home and i think this is awesome ☺️ just noticed the first dungeon is based on SMB lvl 1-2
This is a pretty neat hack...one of the coolest hacks for Zelda I've seen honestly!
Toad: Good luck!
Mario: Do you know who I am? It's a-me.
This is pretty funny considering Zelda 1 was originally proposed as a Mario game.
You know, I’d love the world to see a Mario adventure game, that’s the Mario game I’ve always wanted
So an Action Adventure game to be exact.
That is a very well put together hack. Kudos to who made it!
Well, thanks.

A combinação de dois dos meus jogos favoritos na infância. Good memories
I've been excited about this one!
Wow, what a visual mindf**k! My brain had a hard time processing these classic sprites juxtaposed with each other!! Very cool mashup. ✨
Props to the one programmed this game into Mario Zelda .
Must have something going on, I watched the whole thing, it was all very good.
WOW!!! This is now my second favorite ROM next to Super Mario Call Of Cthulhu ❤️🔥
Great job! Really creative!
love this. what i'd really love is a pac-man action adventure taking place in pac-land using the classic arcade style designs
These rom hacks looks like more fun than the real deal. Love the music in this one.
Plot Twist: This is the original Super Mario RPG
Proto Version I Guess?
there is a universe where this is an actual game

Holy jesus what a hack! Amazing!
This is AMAZING!
I know Nintendo would just slam the creator with a copyright strike but I almost wish they could hear these remixes
Amazing work!
Very impressive. Congrats to the author!
The sound track for this game is insane.
This is a work of love and a love letter to video games. Awesome.
