I absolutely love this song. I keep flip flopping on which version is my favorite, this one or the "official" one. They're very different but both so beautiful.
I love their acoustic sets
The true test of a song is to strip it down to the mere basics. And then see how well it holds up. Like this. Funny how, even when I listen to these stripped versions of Spoon's songs, I hear the full band version playing in my head.
"Break out of character for me"... Inside Out is such a beautifully recorded song that is a repeater for me, but somehow this stripped down version hit me differently and I heard it more as a love song than previously. Amazing. One of the best bands, strongest discographies, hail Spoon!
